The service call went well with good results. Josh explained the preferred work with hopeful results and the next step if 1st step did not work and cost of each service, before he proceeded. And I like the fact the expected service call is not extra to the bill.

Excellent. They came out quickly, called before they came, and showed up on time! The technician explained the issue, performed the repair, and made suggestions to address the problem going forward. No pressure, just information. We are always very pleased with their service.

My AC stopped working a double I had MasterTech out. I went ahead and paid for a$79 tune up they found the problem which was a bad capacitor. They charge me nearly $300 for the part which I found I could have ordered from Sears for$10. It was a simple plug / unplug replacement and they already had the cover off for the tune up. I later talk to another HVAC company and they said they charge $49 for that part. MasterTech is so large they don't care about repeat business they get you the first time and hope you're dumb enough to come back for more.

Came same evening I called( about 2 hrs later) and worked late until water heater that quit was replaced , the water heater was in a difficult location and on lower level and was so corroded the element rod left was only 6 inches long and tank wouldn't drain . Tech was great and fixed problem despite difficulties .little pricey but they earned their money on this one !

Seth came out, understood the problem immediately, and did a great job resolving it. He paid attention to details, made sure things were adjusted how I would like them, improved some other issues along the way, covered the hole with an access panel, and cleaned up the area before he left. He was also a pleasure to work with.

Terrible experience. The techinician was unable to diagnose the problem thus fail to repair the furnace. The company was going to charge us a second diagnostic fee when we called them back to report the same issue.

I contacted them early on a Friday morning and they replied within an hour and said they could come out the same day. They were here, completed the job, and were gone by noon! It was fantastic. The two men were extremely polite and courteous. I would absolutely call them again and highly suggest them to anybody.

I am almost as disappointed at MasterTech as I am at myself!! I feel like an idiot! I paid $1,033 (parts only) for a Turbo 200 Universal Dual Capacitor ($62 from Amazon) and a 1/4 HP Outdoor Fan Motor ($142 at Sears). It was 95F outside and we needed it done quickly for personal reasons. But again, I feel like an idiot for trusting MT would charge a reasonable price. A company that scams its clients so badly because the client needs the job done, and that same company relies on clients who do not check if they are being way overcharged (again, I am an idiot for that!!), they don't deserver anybody's busynesses. At least, not my business ever again.

Complex since old water heater was very hard to take out of closet. Technician did great and figured out how to get it out.

They came out the next day, assessed the problem as irreparable & immediately installed a new water heater for us.

Josh was my serviceman and did a great job explaining the problem and replacing the water heater.

Very well. All my questions were answered as they performed the cleanout.

The technician was a polite young man and he did diagnose problem within minutes. However, the cost of this repair and the damage to my sink cabinet that was not restored really was unacceptable. MasterTech will never get anymore business from me or a referral. The charge for this was extortion.Of course, when I agreed to the work I had no idea that it was that simple of a fix. I thought it was going to be a major procedure and so, I agreed to have the work done. I have had plumbing done in kitchens in other homes I have owned and cabinets were restored, so I do not feel this was an unreasonable expectation! I also have never paid this much for plumbing under a sink EVER! NEVER AGAIN.

They were somewhat unsure of what had to be done at first but were able to figure it out and fix problem. I thought their pricing was extremely high and was actually shocked at the price they quoted me.

Because MasterTech charges for their estimates, they appear to have a side business going where they will come out for an estimate, collect their fee, and then provide an outrageous estimate to ensure they don't have to do the work. They ensure they will get calls by allowing you to apply the price of the estimate to the job. But then make sure that never happens. We had three estimates for a job, and only MasterTech charged us for the estimate. The three estimates were $650, $850, and $2500. Guess where MasterTech is on that list?

Everything was good except for pricing.

They arrived within 30 minutes and addressed the issue quickly.

You always know what to expect with MasterTech, and they always deliver. They are not the least expensive in town, but far from the most expensive. If you have time to spare then you may find someone cheaper to do the same work, but quality may not be a sure thing in that case. With MasterTech, quality is always a sure thing in my experience.

Justin arrived promptly. I knew what he would look like because i was sent a confirmation email with his photo attached. Upon entering my house he stopped to put on booties so he would not dirty my floor. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. I always want to learn as much as I can from any repair person. I appreciated how helpful he was answering all my questions and then adding even more relevant information. When I asked about coupons and did not have one that would work he found one in his computer for me! I would definitely use Master Tech for any plumbing needs in the future.

Josh was very nice. He said they do not carry Kholer parts on their truck so they was extra charge for having to go and get them. When asked why the quote was so high, he said he wasn't able to break down the bill in service vs parts. I declined service and called another plumber. MasterTech's quote was over $200 more than the plumber we got a second opinion from.

Did a thorough check and cleaning. Told me for age of unit it was doing good. Did not try and sell me something I didn't need. Very friendly and professional. Would use again and recommend to others.

I called MasterTech in late morning to report that my AC unit had died last night. It was 95 degrees outside and predicted to be in the 90's for the next two weeks. Because of work commitments, the earliest time I could meet someone at the house was 2:00 p.m. tomorrow. As the day got hotter, I called back and asked whether it would be possible to have a service person come out to the office after 5 p.m. I was told that was possible but that it would be considered an after-hours emergency call and would cost more. I agreed and was told that I'd be called after 5 p.m. with a specific appointment time. I was pleased to receive a call at 4:35 p.m. The service person met me at the house, diagnosed the problem as a burned out capacitator, explained the cost for repair and for optional service agreements, and then proceeded to replace the capacitator with a part he had in his truck. When he finished the job, he came into the house to ask whether I had any questions. He was polite, pleasant, and professional. I would definitely recommend MasterTech to others.

It went really well. I'm very pleased. After water from the bath backed up to my sinks last week, I had some major plumbing work done at my house this week. Seth was my lead tech, and he was fantastic! He was very patient and kind, while dealing with a major headache. I was really pleased that Seth came back for the full excavation/repairs, because it's always comforting to see a friendly, familiar face when you are dealing with a major home repair and already a bit stressed out. I don't know if that's a common practice or was just good luck. Across 2 days, I think I met 7, or maybe 8 different members of the MasterTech crew. They were all pleasant and polite, and I felt comfortable around all of them (which if you are a single gal who lives alone, this probably matters to you). My issues were thoroughly explained, and nobody spoke to me like I'm dumb (which again, if you are female, this probably matters to you). They were also helpful in showing me the problems, which made it easy for me to come to a decision about which option was the best for repairs. This is at least the 4th time I've had plumbers out to my home in 8 years, and they are by far my favorites, though I do believe I won't be needing them again, as they finally set my house right, the way it always should have been. (Thank goodness!) They get bonus points for major professionalism from the friendly and responsive office staff, right down to the well-labeled vehicles and uniformed staff. I also appreciated the email updates. They get double bonus points for being patient and kind to my chocolate lab, who was a bit stressed out by all the chaos and power tools. Plus, the excavation team put my yard neatly back together, after having to dig it up, which is something my friends and neighbors already commented on. It's a bummer when you have to do some major work on your house, but it's a lot less painful when the service crew that shows up is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and on time.
