Korte Tree Care is a fabulous company! They responded quickly and professionally with a great quote and great service! They removed our tree and ground out the stump so well that we can't even tell that there was a tree there! Wow! We recommend them highly! Thank you so much!!!

They arrived on time to cut down three large trees that were close to our house. Two hours later they were blowing off the driveway with everything finished and all cleaned up. Two years ago they took out 13 trees for us without any issues.

The team was professional, pricing was better than what we had received in the past, and the work they did was amazing. We will be using them exclusively to maintain our big oaks in the future!!!

My wife and I were very pleased with Korte tree service. Our inquiry for a tree trimming estimate was responded to promptly and Josh was out to view the job a couples days later. We were impressed with Josh?s knowledge and care for the trees. His estimate was very reasonable and the work was performed about a week later at a date and time we determined. The crew was on time and professional. After a brief discussion with he crew we decided to free a big old oak tree from being strangled by ivy, in addition to trimming the branches. We appreciated their input and flexibility to get everything accomplished. Over all we highly recommend Korte tree service.

Josh came out right away when first contacted. Gave good advice re: trees on our property . Had to wait several weeks to get the work done....lots of folks needing trees cut. When Josh's crew of 6 men and 4 trucks came out, they had the work done in 90 minutes. They were good with clean-up, too.

Josh, the arborist, visited beforehand and we discussed the job. One tree (redbud) had a dead top (upper trunk and top branches) and some damage lower down. I suspected that the whole tree may need to be removed, although much of the tree was alive. Josh advised that the tree could be saved, and just the dead portion could be removed. That's what I decided to do. The other tree had a double-stem which could be a problem later as the tree grew, and I asked him to have the smaller of the two trunks removed. The crew of 4 arrived a couple days later. They were punctual and worked quickly and efficiently and left no mess. The work was done neatly. Neat cuts were made on the trees. The foreman was very courteous. I have some knowledge of tree care from my own profession. I wholeheartedly believe in hiring an ISA certified arborist such as Josh for tree care jobs that are bigger than I want to tackle myself. I was impressed with Josh's professionalism and his knowledge, and with the job that the crew did. I would hire them again if the need arises.

After completing the brush removal, Korte sent a bill for 150.00. Unfortunately, when the bill arrived I was out of town for an emergency and I didn't realize I had received it until a second bill came. I paid soon after receiving the second bill. I called today to schedule the tree removal as I thought the backyard was considerably drier than it had been when I received the estimate. Josh Korte explained to me that he was declining the job because I had taken an extended period to pay for the brush removal and he wasn't comfortable taking on a bigger job from me. I offered to pay for the service up front, but he still declined the job. Korte Tree Care is great, and I am sad that I am no longer able to use their services. I would recommend them for their great service, professionalism and fair pricing.

The employees at Korte Tree Care were friendly, professional, and punctual. After a big wind storm, there were fallen trees all over my neighborhood. I received an estimate from a tree company who was doing work at a neighbor's house, waited six weeks, but never heard from them (even though they said "We can get to it in the next few weeks"). I finally called Korte and they said, "It will take us about three weeks because we're busy, but we can get to it." They quoted us a price that was significantly less than the other company: $550 vs. $950. To be fair, I believe the other company planned to do more extensive trimming of the huge pin oak. However, even the removal of the Bradford pair was priced $450 vs. $550. Almost exactly three weeks later Korte called, showed up the next day, did a great job on the Bradford pear, removed all the limbs that had fallen, and even planted grass seed to cover up the tracks they left. Overall a great job. I will hire them again in the future.

Company owner came to provide estimate the day following my call.. Crew actually provided services sooner than expected. They did an excellent job trimming and left no mess.

They were excellent. We've had them out to the house twice and plan to have them out at least once more. They do excellent work. They are extremely professional. We had six really large trees cut down, three other trees trimmed up. They arrived promptly on the day schedule and worked like heck all day. When they were gone, they only way you knew they were there were the missing trees. They cleaned up my yard very well. Do I wish the price they charged was lower, sure, but wouldn't everyone. It was worth every penny. You get what you pay for.

They visited my home and wrote a bid within 24 hrs of my phone call. They arrived and did the work within 24 hrs of confirming that I wanted them to do the work. They arrived when they said they would, were very professional and courteous; worked very quickly and left my yard very clean.

Good. Josh was a knowledgeable, enthusiastic arborist willing to discuss the health of my trees, pruning advice and recommendations. His estimate for felling a small dead tree was just a little higher than Arthur Ratliff (also on your list) but I had him feed the trees and his feeding subcontractor actually came in below estimate from $225 to $150. I plan to have Josh back next December (at his suggestion) to prune and shape another tree.

Korte Tree Care has all the equipment to perform even very large projects quickly and efficiently. They brought with them a big truck, one of the tallest cranes I ever saw, and a neat little loader that did all the heavy lifting and looks like something from outer space. The dead pine tree was close to the property line but they removed it without the slightest problem. Trimming the old locust trees was a very difficult task. One of the trees was imbedded with a 3 inch thick poison ivy vine with 4 ft. wide foliage that went almost to the top of the tree. I managed to kill the vine with a saw one week before their visit, but the worker had a hard time dealing with the dying vine. He did so in expert fashion. The entire project was completed in approximately two and one-half hours. Korte and his 2 person work crew were prompt, polite, courteous, highly professional and perfectionist. They have improved their performance with each visit. I was delighted with their earlier work and even more pleased with them this time. The cost was very reasonable. Their cleanup was excellent. I give them my highest recommendation. When they come, have your camera at the ready because you're going to enjoy showing people the photos of their interesting equipment.

Job was completed quickly. I had a few limbs that were 4-8 ft long in which Korte came back and made into smaller lengths for me. Would recommend to anyone.

We had an extremely large oak tree fall on our deck/house during a recent storm. Josh responded immediately and physically inspected the damage and provided an estimate. His crew showed up as scheduled, cut up and removed the tree, cleaned up all of the debris and seeded our yard where their equipment damaged the grass, this was a big job in a tight space and they had all of the required equipment to do the job right and quickly. I was impressed with the professionalism and detail of their work. They exceeded my expectations. I have used Josh in the past on our large trees and I recommend him highly. He is very knowledgeable and professional.
