Geek Squad - Best Buy

The personnel were very diligent and went above and beyond my expectations.

They were on time and very professional. The range plug did not work, they were accommodating in letting me go and purchase the correct plug so they could finish the installation.

Delivery went well except the men never adjusted the refrigerator so that it was 1/4" higher in front. That's recommended so the doors will close automatically when left halfway open. I called Best Buy 4 times in 3 weeks to have the ice maker installed. Each time I talked to a different person, explained the situation and gave the delivery man's name. I was assured someone would call to set up a time. Someone did call back once and left a voicemail because I missed the call. Since I was frustrated with Best Buy's customer service, I asked a handyman neighbor to install it. I think Best Buy has some major issues with customer satisfaction just like other big box stores. In the future I think it's worth paying a little more for better service after the sale.

The staff of the Columbia, MO Best Buy is horrible. They sold me the wrong product (a game for the Wii and not the Xbox). When I went to exchange it they refused to do it. They also had just sent me a letter about a camera warranty that had another year on it, but even with the letter they refused to look at or fix my camera. They also claim to buy back old cell phones, yet there are very few that they actually buy back and even fewer in store (mine is an expensive android incase you were wondering). The emplyees also know very little about their products, that is if you can find one in the department you want. There is very rarely an employee willing to help you as the tend to stand around and talk to each other. Ever since the game experience, which was in Dec. right after Christmas, I have not been back to any Best Buy.

I had a good experience with them.
