My father started the process with David in Feb of 2011 to be done in about a month of pulling off the front walkway and the back deck and redoing the whole thing. David started by pulling off all the old wood, this took no time to get done. After that he started on the front walkway and this took a bit but he finally got it done after a month. Then he started the side part that Dad has requested and thats when the issues started. He would call in stating he was not feeling well, or he had something come up, ect. and wouldn't be able to get in to work untill a few days later. Then he would fianlly show up and do a little work, aks Dad for more money to get to the next step. Dad would give him the money, he would do a little work and then call in again. This was his cycle; do a little work, get some money, then not show up. Dad was going on a week plus long trip and David said he could get more if not all done while he was gone if he could have the rest of the money, so Dad gave it to him; in all 10,000. No work got done while Dad was gone, so he called David. David started again with well this happened, ect. Dad told him he was fired and to come get his stuff and pay back the money. David never would show up or return any calls at this point then he shows up during the day and gets all his stuff and no money. We have tired calling and calling no answer and no money. Come to find out his has done this before to people; start a job ask for more money, get the money and then doesn't finish the job. So now Dad is out the money and only half the work is done. Whats bad to top this all off is the guy doesn't great work but he steals money.
