Critter Control

Peter and his crew have been providing services for us for 5 years+ They are conscientious, courteous prompt and professional. They have removed raccoons from our property, I really appreciate their humane methods They checked for bats in the attic and helped control the voles in our yard. Their services are reasonably priced. I have hired them several times and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Buttoned up the house well so that squirrels shouldn't be able to enter the house again. Did the job quickly and without my needing to be there beyond the initial inspection.

Peter Riney is the best. He explained what was going on and what he proposed to do about it. He gets rid of the critters and then blocks all entrances where they might return again. He did this under the deck for the groundhog problem, and in our attic for the bats. With Peter, you get peace of mind.

Critter Control was friendly,listen to our problem, right on time, and obviously knew just what and where to look to solve our problem. Several possible places for mice entry where found along the foundation. However, a major problem was a place over the porch where mice could enter the attic two stories up. A black snake could make the same climb following his mice prey. The problem was the attic entrance not the foundation. Critter Control offered very reasonable solution to our problem. I should have called them rather than keep trying to solve the problem myself by trial and error.

Fine. They came out and set up cage traps to catch the offenders and we'd call to let them know when the traps had been sprung. In addition to groundhogs we also had raccoons and opossums. Who knew! The animals were taken off and released outside of town so they wouldn't return.

They are extremely professional, they are punctual, they solved the problem.

It went very well. We are very pleased to have things calm down in our yard after the moles and raccoons were removed. It is a huge improvement. There were three large traps placed in areas where the raccoons had been active. We were instructed to check the traps at 8 am and to call if there were any animals trapped. The raccoons caught ate a good meal and then waited with no damage to them for a few hours until Critter Control came to pick them up and take them miles away to the countryside where they can now live well. The traps were in place for 3 days and nights total and trapped 2 possums and 2 raccoons. We were pleased.

Peter was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. He performed inspection and discussed his findings using photos he had taken. He recommended remediation and gave us time to review. We have not seen or heard mice since his remediation efforts!

Very well. My exemplary review is very similar to all the other reviews for this company. Thus, my additional iterations are not necessary Mr. Riney with Critter Control showed up on time did an inspection and determined that a mouse was the culprit. Mr. Riney eradicated the mouse problem and, as I requested, he did a thorough investigation of our home, roof, etc. and its surroundings. We were e-mailed numerous photos of potential areas of critter concern that we will address. The final cost may seem excessive to some in that he simply eradicated a minor mouse problem. That said the thorough inspection of the exterior of our home and peace of mind was well worth the cost to us ($212 with Angie's list discount).we will not hesitate to utilize the services in the future. This is a quality company owned by a conscientious and committed professional.

He gave us a lot of good information about flying insects of this ilk. Peter didn't want to leave without giving us more for our service call money. Since we've seen a mouse or two in the garage, he walked around the exterior of the house and spotted a couple of places where mice could have entered. He made appropriate recommendations for stopping up the openings. He saw a bit of guano that we had never noticed and showed us a bat sleeping behind one of the window shutters. Peter was very personable and I would call him again for any critter or insect concern. His bearing was professional and he had an air of really knowing his subject well.

Peter assessed the situation, explained what was needed, set 3 traps that would was allow animal escape, came back on 2 occasions to remove two animals and then installed barrier at both ends of porch. We have used Critter Control 3 times, bats, our porch issue and inside our home. Super guy, professional and cares about your property.

They did a fine job! Removed several (2-3) racoons to a rural location and patched up the hole in the roof area that they made to get into the attic. It has been 2 years and we have seen no signs of other critters in our attic. We also had them repair the screen cap on our chimney -- so it was somewhat expensive, but well worth it to us.

Very efficient and got rid of the squirrels in a timely manner.

The nice thing is that they have been detailed in their explanation of the recommended service and have taken the time to talk through my options rather than immediately hard sell me on the most expensive option. We've set up a plan of attack that has kept my costs lower by trying things and then adjusting if necessary, rather than doing every possible treatment an preventative measure under the sun. I'm happy with this approach and it seem to work well when dealing with unpredictable critters.

The owner is very knowledgeable about 'wildlife' and has accomplished the tasks of ridding my home of wasps, moles and various 'critters' that wanted to burrow into my lawn to stay. Always courteous and brightens my day as he is such a nice young man.

Put screen wire in the "rafters" of my deck to keep birds from building nests there and making messes on the patio. It went well!

We found a deer at the far end of our lot that had been dead for a while. Critter Control came the same day we called. Very pleasant people to deal with. The service was not cheap--but worth it under the circumstances.

An excellent operation. The young man has a degree in wildlife management. He was very energetic, efficient, and knew his business--pesky animals, like racoons. I'd certainly would use his services again!

Technician was very knowledgeable and shared information with me. He also shared photos he took in attics where I myself could not access. Work was quickly scheduled, performed, and completed. Since the service, I have noticed no evidence of bats. The bat check valve allows bats to exit but not return, so the animals are not harmed in any way. Work can only be performed at certain times of year due to the animal's living habits, so I was fortunate this happened at one of those times. My only concerns were that he could not fully access the smaller attic offset from the main one, over my dining room. It is one story lower and does not have adequate access built-in, so that is more my house's fault. I also have a very steep roof, requiring a step to temporarily be put in place for him to install the valve. When it was removed, the hole in the roof was just sealed with an epoxy caulk-like seal, so I'm not sure how I feel about that. After several hard rains since this service, I have not noticed any problems with the roof. Received a follow-up call from the company after my Angie's List review, and my concern was addressed satisfactorily.

The old saying “you get what you pay for” certainly holds true in the case of Critter Control of Central Missouri. Peter Riney and his team are worth every cent spent to get the home front under control from the critters. I first met Peter after encountering a raccoon family living around my house and yard. First impressions, both in print and in person, help. Critter Control has a national website and links one to the local business. This ensured confidence and legitimacy to me. I called and Peter came immediately. From the start, I knew exactly what the procedure entailed, plus the cost. And that is exactly what happened. There were no surprises. Thinking I was finished with these “pests” proved not to be true. I began encountering more difficult issues, believed to be caused by a construction problem. Although an attempt by a construction team did not solve the problem, out of desperation I called Peter in hopes that maybe he had a different perspective. He did! Peter determined that my construction problem was caused by CRITTERS, and thus began a labor intensive, unpleasant task of crawling under my entire deck, digging under my house, and critter proofing and repairing the damaged area while actually lying on the ground. Needless to say, not only is the problem finally fixed, but guaranteed as well. I keep trying to find reasons to employ Peter again! It is refreshing to find a young business owner, so bright and knowledgeable in his field, so willing to come any time of the day or night for emergencies, but also so honest and trustworthy. You can be assured that you will not regret contacting and utilizing Critter Control of Central Missouri. Your peace of mind will be more than paid for.
