Chimney Safe

I originally called and had an inspection done in March 2020. I called back a couple months later to schedule a time for them to come out and do repairs. No answer so I left a message. I called back every other week for a couple months, no answer, no call back. Eventually everything got shut down due to covid so I waited till everything opened back up. It took a couple months to get thru to someone and when I did they told me they didn't have a copy of the bid the gave me. After about a month Rich came out to do another inspection. The first inspection was an actual inspection. Took his time checked out everything and got on the roof. This inspection he bent over to look in my chimney for about 10 seconds at best and said I would have the bid by Saturday morning, that was 3 days. It took over 2 weeks to get the bid and the tripled their price. I would not recommend Rich or Chimney Safe ever.

Showed up on time and provided detailed, thorough inspection with a punchlist of items that were checked and verbally went over his findings. Inspector promised a detailed report with photos and some bids for various work that was needed to be emailed to me and left. I waited two weeks for the report and finally called the office manager who promised to get with the inspector and see what was holding up the report. Not getting a response I called the office after a few days and my call went to voicemail whereupon I left a message. I mentioned this situation to my real estate agent who had recommended this company to me. She said she would follow up and forwarded me a copy of the detailed report the next day via email. The copy had the wrong email address for me even though I gave the inspector a written copy of my correct address on his copy of the checklist on the day of the inspection.

We were called when they were ahead of schedule to check if it was ok to come ahead of time. Inspectors were professional and thorough. We recently purchased the house and have been finding weird/dangerous DIY performed by the previous owners at every turn so we weren't suprised when they notified us that the chimney was unsafe to use. We appreciate the information, and especially thankful that we called prior to trying to use the stove. We will be calling when we're ready to replace everything...

Great company to have take a look at your chimney, clean and do all necessary repairs. They have been around for a long time and I have been using them for at least 12 years. Incrediblly trustworthy and full of information to help you have a safer and quot;burning seasonand quot;.

We called 4 different Chimney companies to obtain estimates to replace the chimney cap on our home. Two responded and two did not. We received the estimate from Chimney Safe which seemed reasonable. The estimate needed to be more informative as to what kind of materials were to be used, number of people it would take to complete the job as well as the time it would take for installation. Chimney Safe was punctual in sending an estimate and promptly answered any questions we had. We went with another service provider because of the material that they were going to use.
