Tom is the best! Fast, accurate, no BS! He will talk to you honestly, and find you the best configuration at the best price! Don't waste your time and money going anywhere else!!!!!!!! I shopped around my install at 5 different places before calling Auto Radio, and I am SOO glad I did! Tom has literally saved me hundreds of dollars and I couldn't be happier! (and he is open on Saturday's unlike some of the other higher priced shops) I recently purchased a 2005 Ford Taurus and wanted to be able to listen to Pandora from my phone through the cars speakers. the 05 does not come with an auxiliary jack or bluetooth connectivity. For those not in the know, to install an aftermarket receiver in a 2005 Ford Taurus there is a installation kit (MetraKit 99-5719) that is very expensive. My journey started off at Best Buy where I was quoted $370 for the kit alone. The stereo and install would be in addition to that, leaving me at about $700 at the end of the day. I asked the sales rep if there were any alternatives that were less expensive or work around so that I could avoid it all together but still get the functionality that I desired, and was told there was not. Before leaving Best Buy I did find an FM transmitter which did in fact work (shame on you Best Buy rep) but has messy wires which are undesirable. I called around to numerous other shops in town and all of them wanted hundreds of dollars for the kit (and did I mention the kit is much less attractive than the factory dash?). When I called Auto Radio Tom was quick to point out that shops around town mark up the already too expensive kit. He directed me to a site where I could order the needed parts on the cheap and bring them to him for a quick and inexpensive install, and then he did one better and came up with a solution that avoided the ugly kit all together and would allow for a discrete modification that would provide the desired functionality through an auxiliary adapter hidden in the center counsel at a cost of $60! Lowered my cost from $700 to $70 ? Tom is the bomb!!!
