sales was great, promised windows within 6 weeks, windows were installed about 12 weeks out. prices were high, but the window quality and service was worth it. the only problem I had was the long lead time and lack of communication.

Our house is a 1940's farm house and had 30+ year old faded vinyl siding. The guys did a beautiful job and the house looks like a brand new house. The crew was so patient with me and gave me time and space to wash all my storm windows before they put them back up. With the additional insulation and siding, the house is so much more energy efficient and looks great too.. We are now in the process of planning to have the roof replaced with steel also. I cannot say enough about how great the crew was while working on the house.
Description of Work: We got the whole house done with stainless steel siding, trim, and gutters in June 2014. And now planning to replace roof with steel this spring.

I highly recommend ABC Seamless Steel Siding - the owners and especially Brad Kennedy and his installation crew. Over five years later, our siding still looks good as new (except where Mediacom drilled holes in it without authorization and left them visible --ah but that needs to go under a Mediacom review!) In August 2010, the defective Colorlock siding on our home needed replacing. After some research, steel siding seemed a good option. I was sure of that after ABC's owner Dale Oyer Sr came out to explain the advantages of their durable seamless steel siding, the lifetime warranty, showed me samples and wrote up the firm (no surprises later!) contract. Brad Kennedy and his excellent crew were always professional, timely (showing up as scheduled for a full day of work), obviously experienced (like a well oiled machine of efficiency) and provided the beautiful result promised. Though ultimately unnecessary, I appreciated that Dale Oyer Jr came by a few times to access the progress of the crew. Call them -- you won't be disappointed!
Description of Work: removed old siding and added insulation and seamless steel siding.

Brad K. and his crew of five guys showed up when they said they would. They worked until about 5pm everyday until the job was finished about a week later. They were clean and professional. Their craftsmanship was excellent. They made sure the everything was perfect, and that we were happy with the progress as the job continued. The siding installed has a log-cabin-look to it (although it is really steel with a 50 year warranty on all labor and materials) and it turned better than I expected. We had a party last weekend and people commented on the difference that it made to our home. Most couldn't even believe it was the same place! Every time I pull in to my driveway, I can't believe that this is really my house! It is beautiful thanks to Brad K and his crew at ABC Seamless of Ashland, MO.
Description of Work: ABC Seamless installed 28 gauge steel seamless log siding custom made to exact length of my home. Under the siding they installed Owens Corning insulation, installed flashings, drip caps, soffit, gutters and downspouts. Everything was cut to fit and formed on site. It's quite a process!

Wonderful! Shortly after we made contact with ABC siding, we were contacted by the owner Brad Kennedy and we scheduled an appt to meet and get an estimate. Mr. Kennedy met us at our home promptly and provided detailed info on his siding products as well as examples of each. Color samples , warranties, durabilty were discussed. We also discussed the process of how the siding would be applied to our home. He gave a thorough explanation of how insulation would completely cover the house before the siding was applied. We opted to go with the steel siding since the durability was years longer than the other products. Our house was carefully measured and our color and style were selected. Our measurements along with our design specifications were sent off to the factory where our own roll of siding was made uniquely for us. There were no seams in our roll ( as advertised!) and it arrived in about 2 weeks. Prior to the installation, Mr. Kennedy called to let us know the day of the arrival and of the trucks that would be onsite and their sizes. He discussed the size of the trucks as well as parking accomodations for them. Since we live on a cul-de-sac, it was important to factor in consideration for our neighbors to be able to access the road while the project was in progress. He also suggested letting our neighbors know they were coming and would be on site for about a week - we were impressed with his thinking ahead and thoughtfulness for our neighbors. Once the project was underway, the team came in around 7:30 am and usually began work shortly after. The first day I arrived home, I was amazed that almost one side of my house was nearly covered in beautiful new siding! Foam insulation was working its way around the back. As promised, the rows flowed along the side on the house with no ugly seams interrupting the lines. The corners were snugly covered by a smooth edge that enclosed the sides from top to bottom. A beautiful and professional look transformed what used to be worn out and dated old siding and so fast! The team was a well organized machine- the siding was measured for each row, cut and then handed off to be attached to the house by a couple set of guys perched on ladders on each end. Mr. Kennedy always took the time to keep me apprised of daily progress as well as the plan for the next day. He would detail many interesting facts that factored into doing a great job such as the importance of lowering the men on the ladders carefully so they wouldn't bang into the siding and damage it. At the end of each day of work, all equipment was stacked neatly to one side and all scraps and nails were always picked up before leaving. Magnets were used to insure no hidden nails or pieces or small pieces of scraps. We couldn't have been happier with the quality and expertise of the job.
Description of Work: Replaced siding on our 2 story home. All fascia and soffit system also replaced.

Dale Sr and Dale Jr gave us the quote and told us all about the advantages and disadvantages of steel siding. They showed samples of the siding and colors to pick from. Dale Jr visited the job site several times to insure that things were going the way we wanted. Brad and his crew spent long days custom fitting each piece to make a perfect fit. They replaced our outside lights as part of the install. They consulted with us giving us options and making suggestions during the install. It was obvious that Brad takes great pride in his work and has high standards with which he directs his crew. The house looks beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased.
Description of Work: Installed steel siding and gutters on the entire house. They took away all the debris and cleaned up the site each day.

Description of Work: Replaced siding due to storm damage from a tree that fell into the house. Because the siding was older(placed on house in 1988), the insurance company didn't think the existing siding could be matched so they agreed to replace the siding on the entire rear of house. Told that the job would be done within 6 weeks but didn't get done for months after that. It took several calls with many excuses before they just showed up one day with no notice they were coming. Told it would take 3 days then told it would only take 2 days to complete the job but actually the job took a week. The main boss that wasn't hardly ever on the job was knowledgeable, the supervisor was good and easy to talk to, the rest of the crew was lazy and did a lot of yelling and goofing off. Very messy, sloppy and careless with material, seemed everyone was confused at what job they were to do. Gave the job a "B" overall since the completed job was fairly good. I did have to have them return to do some forgotten caulking, and still not sure it all got completed. Some of the decking that got taken off (to make the siding installation easier)when replaced it was not straight and not all the screws were replaced and one left broken off.

Well the owner Dale Oyer made the sale and wrote up the contract and it came with a lifetime warranty on parts and labor. They requested half up front as a down payment, and the other half payable upon completion. Construction crews arrived within a week or two, with three large double axle trailer's, and started the siding project. Not asking where they could setup they blocked the driveway fully, they also were parked in the yard, and were someone upset when I told them they had to move them, they did, but not without grumbling how much extra time it would take them to do the work. They also needed a full time 110 VAC power service, which we obliged, and found out that the trailers were heated, and for three weeks steady they ran and our electric bill the next month was like $40 higher than normal. They were good at what they did, but the crew chief was a nickle and dime guy, finally had to call the owner and have him explain to his crew chief, that entire house in the contract included under the deck area. The moved along very rapidly and in the process of removing some house lighting fixtures, managed to push a wire up into the old soffit and then re-hooked up the light just before they left. The switch that operated that light did not turn off the light, it was on all the time, they just shrugged and said that's the way it was. Couple of weeks later I had to call an electrician and told them about the light, and they worked on it for a full day, and then found the missing wire in the attic with a bare end. That cost some $180.00 for that to be corrected. There was also an over abundance of shards of cut sheet metal peices all around the house, in the gardens, on walks and in the driveway as well. Total clean up, was part of the contract but never did. They were given there money and left after a week of work. After they left, one of the casement swing out windows in the house would not open again, so by then was making a list of things they needed to remedy. Also all the new gutters were to have screen guards, the boxes of new guards were left outside my garage without them installing any of them in the new gutters, again a part of the contract, they did not honor. That cost me $75 to have a handy man come in and install them a few months later. I started calling Dale Oyer in late January 2013, and made follow up calls every other week until April or May. When he did answer his calls, I discussed the above problems, and he said he would get back to me but never did, I made a total of several dozen calls in total to them and still have not seen or heard word one in return, some 8 months later. He always acted like I thought they fixed all that, and would promise to call me back, but never did. This brings into the forefront, the lifetime warranty which to me was a selling point, as they wouldn't respond to problems they created, am not sure how good there warranty is, if there is any at all. I realize that I should have made the last check for $1000.00 less until I was fully able to check it all out, this work was done in winter so any long inspections were not easy to do. It wasn't until spring until I noticed the window problem.
Description of Work: The contract was for full seamless siding, including soffiits and facia's, including new gutters and downspouts.
