Description of Work: In getting bids for a new roof, I contacted LakeSide and Tim came out. He was very nice and did measurements. But then, NOTHING! I called and asked for the bid, but again...no Response. My advice...forget these guys. If they don't even follow up with a bid, what kind of trust can you have in the company to do a good job?

Description of Work: We had Lakeside replace all our windows. They did a great job and were very efficient in their time and installation. We, also, had them update fascia and paint exterior. They were a very professional company and we would recommend them and hire them again in the future.

Description of Work: I had Hardie cement siding installed they also built a front porch and a rear deck. I am very pleased with the way the project turned out. It looks great. They worked well with the other contractors that were also on site. I would use them again.

Description of Work: The contractors representative arrived on time and was personable. At face value he was knowledgable. He measured and assessed the extent of the work and agreed to follow up with a cost estimate. It's at this point the contractor failed to perform. Thery did not provide a cost estimate and were non responsive to my follow up calls. I ultimately moved on and completed the work. I did get a follow up call from the owner and an apology for their non responsiveness.

+ -1 moreSalesman (Jason) very customer oriented. Estimate and proposal were done in explicit detail (the most thorough coverage of work to be done that we have ever encountered). The proposal was signed in November and we were told about 8 weeks until project start. Weather conditions were horrible and work was started in January. Weather conditions further prevented caulking and painting until April. We were dissatisfied with the way the siding looked after the crew had left. We called Jason and he came out and agreed the job was unsatisfactory. Response was immediate (weather permitting) and the job was completed to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: Vertical "board and bat" type (James Hardie) full siding on two sides plus covered all wood on other two sides.

After the job got started, work was completed in an orderly fashion with workmen available to discuss any issues. We had somewhat more damage to our landscaping than was anticipated but probably to be expected with the scope of work which was performed. The job also lasted longer than we were told that it would.
Description of Work: Lakeside replaced our siding (Masonite) with James Hardie and also installed new front porch columns.

+ -1 moreSalesman & workers conscientious and personable, hard workers. Job presented challenges due to house design. Miscommunications resulted in a job different than we had been told to expect even though we made attempts to clarify as work progressed. (Corners done much differently). After being told corners could not be changed at this point by supervisor, we tried to accept it as is. As time went on, irreconcilable differences became evident. Contacted President and he agreed and had corners redone. Complicating matters further is that the new deck had already been put on. They went above and beyond to fix the issue. It is much nicer now and we are pleased. However, there are places where we just had to make do because the deck supports denied the carpenters access to those areas. Make sure to get all details in writing on final sheet, take nothing for granted no matter what is verbal.
Description of Work: Remove old siding & apply Hardiboard siding to rear and side of house to match first side we had done ourselves. Remove vinyl trim from windows and replace with XLD trim.
