We told Jake we wanted to update the look of our brick/partial siding and gutters to make our house more desirable for a sale in the future. He recommended the type of siding, gutters, fascia to fit our needs. There were no high-pressure tactics, just good advice. The office kept us up to date on when they could start the job (earlier than first expected) . Jake and the office staff responded quickly to any questions we had. The crew worked very hard and finished the job in 4 days. The gutter crew finished in one day. Both crews cleaned up very well. Our house looks great.

We needed to replace our old garden window in the kitchen. From the beginning, J & J was great. The representative arrived on time WITH samples. He provided an estimate on-the-spot after taking measurements and explaining the different types of windows available. He explained at the initial meeting that it would be approximately 6 weeks before the window could be installed. It actually was only 5 weeks. The installer (Jonathan & his assistant Chris) arrived on time and immediately got to work. They were pleasant and professional. It was very obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing and were going to do it quickly and precisely. Installation took approximately 3 hours. Once installed, Jonathan explained why we needed to let the caulk cure, the various aspects of the new window and they even cleaned up after themselves, which was very much appreciated. While we were sad to see the garden window go, we're very happy with our new Verde slider. Afterwards, we received a followup call from the office. Overall, I got the impression that they treat small orders like ours in exactly the same way they treat whole house orders. Would we use them again? IN A HEARTBEAT!

The woman in the office were very pleasant setting up the appt. This rating is based on the onsite experience. Appt was for 9 am. At 9:25 received call from company stating estimator was stuck in traffic coming from Chesterfield. I had been watching morning news and traffic report. Nothing re: problem on 40/64 from Chesterfield. Arrived at 9:40. He did not say anything about traffic issue. Two people; one younger, one older. The older gentleman was in a bad mood. I showed the areas needing repair. He was immediately combative and continually contrary. After about five minutes of this attitude I advised no need to continue with estimate as I did not want to deal with him or his company based on his behavior. He got even more hostile and was nearly screaming at me. I immediately called the company and advised of the experience.

Installers were on time and professional.

We'd previously replaced 2 exterior doors purchasing them from a big box store and using its installer thinking that it would be less expensive than using a private company. When we replaced our 3rd exterior door, we decided to get an estimate from a private company. J & J Siding and Window Sales installed a higher quality door for the same price and it was so much easier to deal directly with them than to try to contact the big box store's installer, If we had it to do over again, we'd have purchased all 3 doors through J & J--live and learn! We're very pleased with the quality of the door, the installation itself and the service.

J&J was great. The siding on my house is well over 15 years old, but they were able to match and patch the area flawlessly. You can't really even tell where the siding is new vs where it is old.

The quality of the work was excellent! Door was repaired and has a nice tight seal. Very happy with the work they did!

The work looks great and the people were easy to work with. However, it took a little longer than we are used to (approx 7 weeks) to complete this job from initial visit to installation. However, we weren't in a hurry so that didn't bother us too much and we never asked for the work to be expedited. I would use them again because they did quality work and were good communicators. Update: After some additional/follow up conversations with their office about our job and satisfaction with the work, I'm updating my overall score to an A. I think their follow through/up is amazing and speaks to the pride in their company and the work they do. You don't come by companies that care like this too often now-a-days.

Installers were professional and courteous. They took a lot of time to get new siding piece cut and installed. Weather was a challenge with wind and intermittent rain. We are very pleased with their work and the J and J Siding & Window Sales, Inc.

I was getting the kitchen redone in my condo. During the process, my window was found to be leaking because it was missing the hood flashing. It wasn't something my contractor could repair, so I needed to find someone who could and would repair it quickly so the work could continue in the kitchen. I called many different companies and none were interested in a small job like that during the height of their season. J & J was the only company who said they'd come out and look at it to give me an estimate. They came within a few days and agreed to fix the problem for me. Every time I had any contact with the people at J & J, they were friendly and very helpful. I appreciate how they made repairing the problem easy for me while I was in the middle of a kitchen remodel mess. I would happily use them again.

The sales representative came to my house prepared with pictures and a sample window of what I would receive. He explained everything in detail. I waited about 5 weeks for them to be made and was called to set up an appointment for installation. The crew of three men showed up on time and installed beautiful aluminum clad windows. They caulked them and they are tight and sealed. The crew was friendly and answered any of my questions. No more rust, insects, or grass clippings in my basement. I would recommend this co. They do excellent work.

Office staff were very pleasant. Salesperson sent to my residence was efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. Installers top notch. Door, sidelights and window were expertly installed. Interior and exterior trim also beautifully done. They left the area immaculate inside and out and hauled away all debris.

They knew that they were going to seal the back door but they did not come prepared to do the work. They only sealing they had was for new doors. I provided with them with some sealing material and they did not do a very good job at that. I called them because I was unsure what was needed.

Mirror in bathroom is expertly installed. Centered under its light fixture and at the precise height I specified. Have not tested the extreme conditions but it is free to float on redundant hangers, yet solidly in place to normal forces. Old patio door needed to be replaced anyway. It was stubborn to roll and the glass was baldly fogged. The demolition exposed the anticipated dry-rot areas that allowed water to enter into the home and damage the floor covering. J and J offered two alternative door designs. A budget version and a 'higher-end' version. Both have lifetime guarantees on the fogging. I chose the budget version and I am delighted with it.

We live in a 1930's house with a detached garage. The old garage entry door couldn't be secured and was of an odd size and make. J and J were very responsive to my request for a quote. They showed up at the appropriate time and gave me a full estimate within a couple of days. I originally thought the estimate was a little high, but other companies I had look were even higher. After seeing the work they had to do, I understand a little more why the cost was higher than I thought it would be. The installer had to actually reposition wall studs and enlarge the door opening by four inches before the door could even be installed (as I mentioned above, the original door was VERY non standard). The resulting door looks great, is well installed, and now our garage not only looks better, but is about as secure as can be expected for a detached garage. I have used J and J one other time for some gutter work and they have pretty much become my first point of contact when I need something done.

On the first visit, john arrived on time to evaluate what needed to be done. He also re-aligned this door and the front door to the house as both doors were misaligned and were not closing properly as they should. On the second visit he arrived promptly again and professionally installed the new threshold. At this time I also noticed that a shutter near the front door had pulled away from the exterior brick wall on the top right side. John found an appropriate screw on his truck and also took care of this unscheduled repair. I was more than just pleased with the service I received from J &J Siding and Window Sales. They exceeded my expectations in every way. If I need another repair of this type in future, I'll be sure to call them again.

Excellent, every step of the way. The Seller-Contractor (Dan) was extremely helpful with explaining everything, answering questions, and providing advice on the numerous details. He put me totally at ease from the start. Follow-ups from their office were prompt and attentive. The installers were very skilled and professional, and the installations were perfect. The five door projects covered a variety of installations and repairs that showcased their broad range of abilities. I just wish J & J did other types of home remodeling so I could use them for other projects I have planned!

Everything went great. I spoke with Jan on the phone and had an estimate in writing within a week. While they originally were not going to be able to come out and do the work for up to three weeks because of other projects, I explained to them the urgency of the situation (rain water was getting in through the broken window) and they were out the next day. When the crew that fixed the broken window pane took a second look at the windows needing capping, they let me know they'd try to squeeze me in that same week (3 weeks ahead of schedule.) When I met the crew to complete the capping job, there were issues with the original estimate as the windows were in the drywall on the inside of my home. Because of this, the crew manager had to come up with a new solution on the fly, the solution being the capping which was completed, and they saved me about $100 per window (7 windows in total). The finished job looks great. Every time I called in, I spoke with Jan or Kim. They were always familiar with me and the project I needed done. I paid by credit card over the phone and my receipts and lien release were usually in my email inbox by the time I got off the phone with them. I'm guessing Jan is one of the J's in the name, she was always polite, friendly, and professional.

I am so happy to find such a professional and dependable company for a very reasonable cost. We had hail damage to our fascia trim and gutter system, thus J and J met the insurance company's cost, minus our choice to upgrade to a larger size gutter system to accommodate our steep pitch ranch home. We knew the gutters would make a difference in both appearance and function, but we had no idea how good replacing the dinged fascia would make in the overall appearance of our home. Both the fascia crew and the gutter crew were beyond exceptional for professionalism, hard working, prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Our sales representative, Jake gave us solid and practical guidance based on our expressed needs. He responded to any questions on the same day and worked with our schedule of completion. I was truly impressed - and I have worked with lots of vendors over the 30 years we have owned our home. The garage door install was flawless, fast and gave excellent results. Again, Jake help guide us in an appropriate choice for our needs. Our entire home looks upgraded and refreshed. J an J gets our highest approval.

I called this company, due to Angie's List. Would never have known of this fabulous company. Called and a most pleasant lady answered the phone, listened to my saga on the windows I have, indicated can handle this, more than likely. Next few days received a call that service dept. would be in my area on 8/7 within an afternoon time frame. John R. came to service. There isn't enough space for me to indicate how super he was. He listened to my concerns and began fixing the first window in no time at all. Then, to each and every window I had issues with and further gave me good advice on the best way to tilt in to clean, etc. He was done in no time at all. Professional and knowledgeable as description of his efforts does him no service. He was the first person who came and did not do a sales pitch on replacing perfectly good windows that had small repair issues. I, in turn, called in to let the office know how happy I was, and again, a wonderful lady answered the call. Her father began this company many years ago. In closing, I, as well, received a call from a gentleman concerning another project I have in mind. I explained the current status of the project and he was gracious enough to indicate he would ballpark a price; it was me not he that wanted the ballpark price. I want to save valuable time for this company's employees if it turns out I cannot afford what I have in mind. I would recommend this company to anyone at any time who needed the best service and attention a company could give. (SIDE NOTE: I will be invoiced so left the amount paid area with a 0 at this time.
