Response from J & J Siding And Window Sales Inc
We are grateful to our client for this review. As a small family-owned and operated business, maintaining our reputation for excellence is our foremost concern. For that reason, we always investigate and address reviews of projects that are anything less than stellar. In this case, that inquiry was made difficult by the fact that we completed this project 17 years ago. After digging through our files, I did find the original paperwork for the project, but it revealed no problems that came up during the project. I also searched our database that contains records of all requests for service called in by homeowners. These records go back to 1985, but we have no record of any issues at this home whatsoever. Finally, I've reviewed this situation with our project manager from the 1990's. While his memory of this project is understandably limited, he didn't recall any problems either. We want to emphasize that if any issues exist, we encourage our client to contact us. We would certainly address any problems to the best of our ability and do whatever we can to restore their confidence in us. We also want to address the concern expressed about sub-contracted installers. Given the way that many businesses use sub-contractors, we certainly understand this concern. J & J uses both employees and sub-contractors for our installations. We require that each and every installer, regardless of how they are compensated, maintains the same high standards for workmanship and customer service. Because we know our reputation is in their hands, we vet them with great care. Even when the demand for our services is so high that we risk losing business due to long lead times, we do not bring in new installers unless we are confident in their ability to provide outstanding results for our clients and in our ability to provide oversight of their work. When it comes to siding projects specifically, we currently use two different crews. While both crews are sub-contracted, we've worked with the lead installers for years. They are highly skilled, very experienced, and have tremendous work ethic. They are wonderful colleagues and we're proud to have them working with us. Given the consistently superb reports that we hear about them from our clients, we hope to continue our relationships with them for many years to come. We want to thank our client for their business with us. If they have any questions or concerns, I'd be very happy to address them personally, and we would welcome the opportunity to work with them again in the future. Sincerely, Jake Parker Manager
