Pretty well.  Price was a little high on glass replacement only, but went with them to do whole job.

J&J Siding and Window Sales, Inc. went above and beyond.  I dealt directly with one of the owners from beginning to end.  His communication was excellent.  All emails and phone calls were promptly returned.  He was frank and completely honest with me at all times.  I believe I am a tough customer - a pain really -  and he was very patient with me.  The customer service was exceptional.  I have a small house and mine was probably a small project for them but the owner still stopped by to check on things every day and called me to ask how things were going if I was not at home at the time.  When they were unable to get the same color nails as the siding I chose they had some coated - not just painted - as near that color as possible at no extra charge.  One cannot tell the difference in coklor except upon close inspection.  The quality of work, or craftmanship, is evident to even a lay person like myself.  Several people have noted how good just the work looks and this became very apparent to me when I looked at how the gutters and siding were done on surrounding houses.  You can see the effort they made to "break" the tin around corners and around molding to hide the seams and nails as much as possible.  Any visible seams are tight and difficult to see.  Because I omitted how I specifically wanted one of the windows clad a major portion of that window's cladding had to be redone.  J&J did this at no extra charge despite me having offered to pay for my mistake.  The crew cleaned up everything at the end of the workday and took some pains to move their equipment from view.  At the end of the job they didn't leave any debris on the ground.  I have not found a single dropped nail on the ground.  I liked the fact that J&J did not plant a yard sign in front of my property as contractors will often do.  This is just a personal peeve. I feel the value I received for the work done is excellent.

He came over the same day I called for an estimate, and explained that fascia should not fall off during a wind storm if it is properly installed.  After discussing the fascia I asked him about other areas of the house.  He was very honest and did not try to hassle me into more business.  He even told me what sorts of projects were DIY if I was interested in doing as much as possible myself.  A team was over within a week, and they quietly, cleanly, and quickly finished the job.

I went on Angie's List and narrowed my choices to J and J and one other. I called J and J on 3/1 in the morning, he came by the house around 2pm the same day to assess the repair. He then called me this morning (3/2) and said they would have it fixed this morning and would send me an invoice in the mail. I told him that I would not be here so I told him how to get what he needed out of the garage. I arrived home at 1pm and the job was done and looks beautiful. My head is still spinning at the responsiveness of this company and how easy they have made it for me. From the time of my call, Jake came by the house, found the perfect color match for 12 year old siding, put back one piece and installed the one he found and did it all within 24hrs! AMAZING!!!!

This fix made it possible for us to put off new siding for maybe 5 years. We will definitely be calling J and J Siding & Window. I would suggest you call them also!! You will not be disappointed! Jake is a man of principal and character.

I am and will always be your biggest fan! "Thank you" just doesn't seem to quite express our gratefulness.

They replaced all the windows in the whole house in June. I would recommend them highly across the board. We got them from recommended sources.

My 32+ year old home had original Anderson wood double hung windows which were extremely drafty and ready for replacement, along with 2 sliding glass doors. I contacted 3 vendors for bids and was stunned at the price variance - basically x, 2x, and 3x for pricing, with Berry on the low end and Anderson wood on the top end. I thought originally that I wanted wood windows, but after spending time in the showrooms and seeing the difference in quality available, I was sold on the non-wood for both its performance and its look (though I am very traditional in my furnishings and decor taste and love wood).

Jerry Gebhardt was my salesman, whom I chanced upon when I called J&J. Turns out he's been with J&J a long time and has sold a great deal of work in my subdivision, including (as it turns out) having installed the siding on my house about 10 years ago for the previous owners. (Timing worked out great, as I had a little siding damage from the spring storms, and he comped the repair - getting it done immediately - when I signed the window contract.) He spent a good amount of time at my house for the original visit, walking through the materials and options with me. At that point I wasn't sold yet on non-wood, so I next made trips to the various showrooms. I visited J&J last, and after seeing the much cheaper and the much more expensive options, I was sold on the value of these products. Jerry was able to provide a bit of wiggle room on the price, and there were both Verde promotions and an energy tax credit ($500) as well. He was also very patient with talking through all of my questions, happily providing references / examples of work near my home to be able to see. I booked the work at the beginning of July, and while we were delayed a bit (total about 8 weeks) in waiting for the windows and delays due to the hot weather, he took care of the siding repair immediately. I was flexible on installation timing, so that didn't really impact me too much.

For the product, I chose double hung windows with built-in grids and half screens (to allow more light); my patio doors were again middle of the line, but I was able to get a good match on color for my two rooms. When the installers got to my house, they took a little over 2 days (there were 2 of them) to get all of the work done. Having never replaced windows before, I was a bit nervous about the mess and the open holes in my house. However, I can say that the J&J crew left absolutely NO mess the entire time they were in my home, whether they were leaving for the day or in progress on a window (each person did one window / door at a time). They even worked around / remounted all of my window treatments. It's too soon to tell what kind of difference I'll really see in my energy bills, but I can say that my home comfort (particularly near the windows) is noticeably better.

I would happily recommend J&J and Jerry for this type of work again.

The back of my 7 year old house took the brunt of a hail storm in the spring of 2011.  Three sections of 4 ½” Dutch lap siding were damaged.   The dime to nickel sized holes occurred at the bottom of a siding sheet where it bent back in on itself.  All three sections were located on the second story of the house.  On October 7th I received the first estimate for $750 dollars to replace the damaged pieces or $5,250 to replace all of the siding on the back of the house. The second estimate came in at $354 on October 27th from J & J and in addition to the siding repair it also included fixing the screen on the back door that was also damaged by hail.  What really impressed me about J & J Siding & Window Sales is that they told me they would take sections from an inconspicuous part of the house (like on the side of the garage) and replace the sections on the back if they could not find an exact color match for the back.  After agreeing to the estimate, J & J began looking for the replacement siding.  They were unable to find an exact pattern match at first.  However, during this time a new house was built on the corner on my street.  I could tell that the new house was a different color but I hoped that the pattern would be an exact match.  It was a match, so I took pictures of the boxes that the siding came in and sent them in to J & J.  From the pictures they were able to match the color and the pattern of my siding.  The back of my house faces south west.  You can see if you look hard, the replaced sections because they are not as faded as the surrounding sections.  However, you have to know where to look to notice them.

J&J was easy to deal with, the price was fair, and the job looked great when complete.  I also had them bid another job (still deciding if we want to do that one) but the estimate was prompt and informative.  (Identified issues with current job and provided some alternatives at varying costs.)  I would recommend this company based on my experience with them so far.

This was a very professional group from sales through to installation.  The salesperson came out to our house and discussed window issues with us and reviewed the exterior for siding color match and repair concerns.  He made sure we were aware of all issues that he would expect the installers to face but put no pressure on getting a sale and let it on court to touch base when we were ready.  I had originally been considering using a Pella window (which they were quite willing to install for us) but changed my mind after reading about the Verde windows online and seeing a sample firsthand.

When the kitchen was ready for them to work, I got in touch and scheduled the installation date.  They showed up on time, completed the fairly large amount work in a day, and cleaned up after themselves before they left.

Of the four window and siding contractors I contacted, I had been the most comfortable with J&J and their bid was competitive with the others that came in (significantly lower than one, within $100 of the other bid received, with the last contractor not having bid) so, it was an easy choice to use them.

the process too more than a year, partly because there was a plan a that u. city wouldn't approve so we went to plan b. Then there was the bulk of the delay. I don't know why. They already had most of the money in deposit, and I was getting worried that they were neglecting me. The day I finally decided to call, they called me, set up a close time and then came and did an excellent job. I am giving them a good grad because the job was so good.

The sales person was prompt and professional, and was able to very quickly identify an exceedingly close match to my existing siding. They did not try to upsell me - just gave me precisely what I wanted. The siding was ordered, quickly delivered, and quickly installed. Would gladly use their services again!

J&J was 100% professional about their work and offered me excellent advice to maximize my dollar. There are cheaper window companies out there, but I've used J&J on several occasions to take care of window and siding issues at various properties and I've always had an excellent experience.

Overall they did a fine job. Our salesman Jake Parker was great. He really worked with us to help keep the costs in check and to ensure that we only purchased what we needed. He did not push us to buy anything additonal and did not spend hours on end like some vinyl siding salesman in an attempt to sell us something that we didn't want. When we got into the job, they noticed facia boards that were in need of replacement. Since it was not noted on the initial walkthrough of the job they replaced them at no additional cost to us. They were the lowest overall bid of any company and their products and warranties were as good or better than anyone we got a bid from. We were very happy with the overall job that they did and would recommmend them to anyone needing siding, gutters and windows or doors.

Jake Parker, our sales associate was extremely professional and attentive. The installers showed up on time and did a great job installing the windows. The garage door was installed by a separate crew and the installation went extremely well. I received bids from three separate companies and decided to go with J&J based on price, professionalism, and a referral from a friend. Thanks for the great job!

The sales rep, Jake, knew windows and answered numerous questions about the specs of different manufacturers, costs, etc. When asked, he made suggestions about what style of windows might look best with my house and with my neighborhood. It took me a while to make up my mind as this was a large financial investment. He responded promptly and patiently to emails and phone calls. He was never hard sell. I couldn't have had a better sales rep. The two men who installed the windows did a fine job. They were both experienced and worked well together. It was pleasant to be around them the two days they were here. Two windows were different from the others in trim style and they figured out a way to finish them out so that all the windows and trim look great. Later Jake came out to review the work and make sure I was completely satisfied. I would definitely be interested in working with this company again. This was one of the best experiences I have had in regards to the many home repair/upgrade projects I have had done.

They did everything we expected them to do. We liked and got what they had to offer. Everything was good about them. Their price was good and the quality of work was good. Their salesman was very patient with us and didn't try to push us. It took a year or more for us to commit something, but they were always ready to come out when we called them. The people that installed did a very good job of taking out the old windows and installing the new ones and cleaned up after themselves. We would use them again only for the windows with vinyl.
