Quick response to my original inquiry. Salesman was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. They carry quality products at a very reasonable price. Installers arrived on time. Very professional install. Installers were very friendly. They explained the awning and how to use it. They cleaned when finished and left my deck spotless. Next day office placed follow up call to make sure everything was done to our liking. I was very impressed with J & J. They treated us like VIP's. I love my new awning! Thanks to all at J & J Siding and Windows!

I had dropped the transom window and the frame around the glass also broke. I called J and J and told them it would be on the side of the porch if they could give me a quote. Within the week they came by and picked up the broken glass and frame as well as the casing. A couple days later they emailed me a quote. The quote included a new windo frame and casing. It was $300. I called them and asked if they could quote me on just the window and the frame. They called back with the price of $65.00 and I asked them to do the work which they did within a day or two. I saved myself a delivery/installation fee by picking it up at their office. The best part is the glass was replaced with a Nextan sheet which is much lighter weight. It will be a lot easier to remove and install the window. Trusting I won't drop it this time because it is much easier to lift and manuver. Everyone involved was great and helpful.

Installers were courteous and professional. Installers workmanship was exceptional. They had to trim down new entryway frame to make it fit perfectly. They took time to cover as much of the work area as possible when working and cleaned up any dust or dirt afterwards. We are very pleased with all of the doors and will surely used them again.

J&J were very prompt in returning a bid with suggested work. Once the bid was accepted, the work was scheduled and performed in a short amount of time. The end result looks great and I am very pleased. I would definitely use them again.

Jake came to give me a bid. I walked the site with him. He showed me that the downspout was not only down, but dented, and two different colors. As it's on the far back corner of a house that backs up to the woods and is never, ever seen, I said I just wanted it functional, not beautiful. He didn't seem to mind that--which was really good because I've been spending thousands of dollars on regrading and sodding and a new driveway, and really needed a price break somewhere. Also, I had what I'm sure is an unusual request that my downspout stop 4-6" short of the 18" tall drain pipe, otherwise the field mice use them as super highways directly to my roof and eventually into the house. Catching them in traps in the gutters gets old. As for the missing roof shingles, we had those on hand, but there was felt paper missing. Jan called a couple days later with the bid, which was broken down--as requested by me--into amounts for the downspout and roof, separately. Jan also offered to have her crew pick up the felt paper for a small price. I checked online prices and agreed that they could do that, as long as they picked up the smallest amount--not the $100+ roll--which turned out to be around $20. The crew arrived and set to work. I kept a close eye on them at first and showed them what Jake might have forgotten to tell them, as often happens when someone makes a bid then sends out a separate crew. Guess what--Jake forgot nothing! I could soon see that the two-man crew knew what they were there for, and I let them do their thing. Downspout was rehung at a perfect height above the drain. They finished in a timely manner, left the rest of the felt roll for me to store against future needs, and departed. Jan called the next day to see if all went well, which it did. I appreciate that follow up. I don't have the final bill yet, but I am confident it will be as agreed upon.

Everyone at J&J did an outstanding job from the salesman (who gave us a fair price and never over-promised) to the installers (who had a tough job but accomplished it in a very professional and skilled manner) to the office personnel (who sent a hand written thank you note). We looked at number of companies and were very glad that we chose J&J.

The whole process was orderly and prompt and professional: J and J owner personally came and took enough time to personally know us and to advise us on the best way to satisfy our needs. We got the formal estimate by mail and confirmed our understanding by visiting J&J showroom and office where we were shown how the installed windows would look like. We confirmed that the quoted price was reasonable and the owner estimator assured us that the price is fair. The careful and firm price estimate alone (we were referred and we visited two satisfactorily completed jobs in our same neighborhood) gave us the initial confidence which J & J confirmed by the carefully scheduled and prompt installation with high-quality workmanship by skilled installers who are J & J veteran employees who proved committed to this established long-time business with its own spacious warehouse-office facilities in the heart of the Chesterfield business area.

It went very well. Everyone was considerate of my problem and helped to solve it quickly. Nice, polite people.

Showed up as promised for the initial review of the job. They got back in a timely fashion with the bid. Showed up to do the work as promised, great job all the way around.

Quality is very good, and job was done in about 7 days. The installers worked very hard. We understand that this is a messy job, but there were days when every exit from our house was blocked with siding remnants, nails, etc. We would have liked more cleanup along the way, and at the end of the day. The installers were not actual J & J employees, so we would have appreciated someone from J & J proactively following up with us on the daily progress. I prefer to do business with a company that uses their own permanent employees (rather than contracting out), so I would probably not use them again for this reason.

Jake (Estimator) came out on Monday and explained what needed to be done. He explained that much of the 20 year old installation of siding was not done properly, which is why the fascia blew off in the wind. He inspected the entire house for other potential problem areas (roof flashing). He emailed a proposal/contract on Tuesday; and I called the office Wednesday with a credit card 1/4 down payment and faxed signed contract. The office called me back shortly and explained they had a crew that could do the job the same day. The 3 man crew completed the work on Wednesday quickly and professionally. We're extremely pleased with the fast and professional service and highly recommend them.

This company has been excellent from the initial bid to final installation. Dan Mohan is very knowledgeable and took the time to educate us about different options. We chose a custom color for our door; J&J applied the final finish and the workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend J&J.

This was my third time contracting J&J and I trusted them to handle the installation while our family was travelling on vacation. The craftsmanship was superb. We had one minor issue where a wire was not re-positioned correctly under the soffit. J&J remedied the situation quickly and professionally. They offered to completely re-installed the soffit on that side of the house if it would have been necessary but luckily it was a simple fix. J&J stands behind their product and craftsmanship.

We had J&J put beautiful new doors in our entryway earlier this year, but wanted to wait for the weather to warm up before following up with much needed new shuters. When the time came, I sent Dan an email, and he came out to the house with samples. We decided on a color that would match the doors and look well against the siding. The color is perfect as is the style. We're very happy with them. I was concerned about the size of the new shutters being larger than the existing ones, and the ability to use the existing holes to secure the new shutters. I was assured that if they couldn't use the existing holes that they would caulk the siding/masonry so that no water would be able to enter the structure when it rained. When the installers arrived they told me that using the existing holes was no problem. The shutters look fabulous! I just love the color, it compliments the siding so well! Makes a wonderful difference from what had been there. And, the shutters came with a warranty. We couldn't be more pleased. The reason I gave a slightly lower score for the price was that there was a misunderstanding about the style of shutter I wanted. The quote I was given was less than what the corrected shutter price would be. I thought it was a bit high, but I don't have any real complaints because I was told up-front that there was a difference and given an option to leave it as written, or change it. In truth, they do superior work, so it was definitely worth it and as such, I didn't mind the higher price too much. As usual, the job went well, but I wouldn't expect anything less from them. The installers came when I was told they would. They put up four sets of shutters, and took away the old ones, and left no mess behind.

I had a problem of storm (very high winds) damage that dislodged and ripped off siding on one side of my house. I contacted J&J on a Friday and their estimator came out within hours. He provided a written estimate to replace the siding the same day. I agreed to the price and the timing as the matching siding would have to be ordered and there was a two week wait. On the following Monday J&J sent out a crew to remove the remaining (hanging) siding and protect the house by installing weather barrier sheeting. My house was built before weather barrier sheeting was in the building code. By sending a crew out to do this was above and beyond the work order, thank you J&J for protecting my house. During the time the siding was on order J&J kept me informed as to the status of the order. The siding arrived as scheduled, however, due to server weather (thunderstorms) on the day of the installation we delayed one day. Note: J&J called me before I could call them to schedule this delay. J&J is defiantly looking out for their customers. My overall satisfaction with J&J from start to finish is outstanding.

We had a very positive experience with J&J! Dan M. was our salesperson, and he was always informative, approachable, and prompt to respond. He helped us discuss all the possible projects at our house, and then helped us make decisions about priority and sequence for the work. Jan called regularly to check-in and to update us on day/time of workers' arrival. We got bids from numerous companies for the different projects, and J&J was consistently competitive. Their history of good service in the community helped us decide to use them, and we're glad we did.

The staff were great. I was there to review their progress as they went. I was so relieved to have been able to fix this "root cause" that had given me anxiety for a long while. I can rest in peace.

The installation was scheduled for two days and they finished it in one with everything installed . They did everything excellent as they were very careful and cleaned up everything after they were finished. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very rapid follow up and the work was done that same week. Absolutely no complaints.

The sales rep. took picture and when the crew came about three weeks later, they had full size pictures to look at. Great job all away around.

Everything went very well from our first contact to completion of the job. J&J's installers were very professional and polite. They did a great job for us. We have some other projects we'll be doing in the next year or so and will definitely contact Jerry Gebhardt for bids and help determining best solutions.

Representative came out next day after I called. Answered all questions. Very polite. Received estimate later the same day. 3 man crew came out next day and replacement and repairs were made. Great job. Would definitely recommend this company.

After a severe storm, fascia was detached from the second story roof edge of my house. I called J & J and they came out the same day and checked the damage. They gave me a written proposal for the work that needed to be done and the cost. We scheduled a date for the repair work. They were quick, on time, and the work was great. I highly recommend them.
