Though J&J was actually the highest bidder, their professionalism and attention to detail in the inspection won me over. There was some delay with scheduling due to bad weather, and I needed to remind them I wanted to be kept in the loop no matter what; they then made sure to update me frequently. The workers were great, super fast and did a fantastic job, everything all cleaned up, my home finally all looks the same, and considering we bought a farmhouse built in 1860 then added additions in 1998 and 2005, it was a tall order. They also replaced guttering in several areas which should take care of a water problem we were having. They even came back to reconnect a downspout to a ground drain that was not clearly specified in the original work order. I would recommend J&J to anyone looking for a top notch job.

They are very good. They are extremely professional, friendly and personable. They explain exactly what needs to be done and how they propose to do it. They use quality materials and cleanup after themselves. The jobs that they do are exactly what they say they will be.

J&J Siding went above and beyond with my siding project. In the bed I did not schedule for a tear off of the old side because of the price when the crew got there the first day the crew chief went to the owner of the company and told him they need to do a tear off and the owner of the company said do it. When they told me I said no I couldn't afford it and the crew chief looked at me and said Merry Christmas from J&J. They did the tear off for free because of concerns that it would look wavy. I started to cry I felt like I was on the home remodeling show. I couldn't believe the company would do that this isn't a big house it is in the picture but they took two extra days to do it right!!! I don't know of another siding company anywhere that would go that far to make the house look good that's true professionalism! They worked for five days 8 to 12 hours a day! When they were finished my daughter turned to me and said "mom this was always a house but now it looks like a home!" Thank you J and J Siding for being the great company that you are! Thank you Angie's list for helping me find a fantastic siding company!!!

Wonderful. Installers were on time courteous and knowledgeable about their craft. They finished the installation and cleaned and removed any mess. I didn't have to dust or vacuum when they were done. They are an Aaa+++ in my book. I would recommend them to anyone needing windows or siding or anything else. They pay attention to details.

J & J responded to my request for service promptly. Measurements and in-home sales call were professional and responsive to my particular situation. I was able to customize and specify exactly the door and storm door I preferred among many options and price ranges. The costs were accurately explained. I was informed of the possibility that the installation might include lead precautions and how that would affect the costs. I was informed about how I could reduce costs by painting the door myself; when (several days later) I had second thoughts about painting myself and called to change my order to include factory painting, there was no problem. I was accurately informed about the time it would take to order and receive the door and storm door, and received phone updates about when the doors were expected to arrive. The exterior door installer was professional, meticulous, and very skilled. He followed appropriate lead precautions to protect himself, my pets, and me. He was clearly experienced in dealing with old 1950s construction. Another installer finished work on the storm door and cosmetic finishing; he was teaching an apprentice and I could hear that he was a good teacher as well as a good installer! The finished door and storm door exceeded my expectations. They are attractive and high quality--a good value. J & J installers made sure all aspects of the installation were well done. All trim was caulked, filled, and painted. Everything was cleaned up very well. I am very pleased with J & J's performance and recommend them highly.

Removal and installation was great, there were a couple of delays on the French doors, and screen doors. Overall the work was very good, our installer Jenny was perfect. I will definitely use J & J again. Only minor delays, was disappointed in the delays, but the finish product was worth the wait!

Overall, the project was outstanding. While not the cheapest quote we received, we feel we received good value. Salesman/Project Lead (Jake) is knowledgeable and provided common-sense recommendations for our project. He also was very engaged in the project from beginning to end. J&J used sub-contractors to install the siding and while I was leery at first, this siding crew was professional, worked quickly, and cleaned up behind themselves. There was an issue with some of the siding material received from the supplier in that it didn't lay up properly at the seams and when we noted it, J&J removed it and installed new siding without a hassle. There were also some other changes we asked for mid-project, J&J accommodated us easily and reworked costs for materials we decided not to use. We are very satisfied with the work J&J performed and would definitely use this contractor again.

I am so happy that we called this company. Every employee I met or talked with was very professional and extremely nice. I felt very comfortable with them and think they did a great job. I highly recommend them for any job because I think they are professional and fair in their pricing and in their time frame. As a result of their great reputation they are busy but they told me up front it may be a little wait until they could come out and then they would schedule me in for repair. The wait wasn't that long and also was well worth it for them to do it.

They did a great job in explaining what we needed and why we needed it. They did not pressure us to make a decision and worked with us to bring the cost down by us painting the door. We would definitely refer them and use them again.

Dan came out and provided an esstiment for the cost of the required work. We paid $150 as a deposit. This included removal of the the Masonite and trim and hauling it away. They installed house wrap and siding that mached our existing siding. They also replaced siding that had been damaged by weed hackers including a corner piece. They came back and reinforced where the flag bracket is attached to the house and picture framed it with trim to give it a nice finished look. That had not been in the original contract, and was at no charge. All the work was done in a reasonable amount of time (weather). We would highly recommend J&J siding and windows to anyone because of their workmanship and straight forward approach to the job.

I found all the representatives of J & J Siding and Window Sales to be very responsive and professional, from the original sales call (by Jake), to a visit to the showroom, to multiple telephone calls to Jan and requests for references. Once we decided to go with J&J, they sent technicians to measure the spaces---even returned to double check. After the windows were ordered, an installation date was scheduled. Workers arrived exactly when promised, completed the work, removed the debris and cleaned the space. We were replacing wood-framed windows, original to our 30+ year old home. These new replacement windows, vinyl-clad, are not an exact match, but they look very nice and should stand up to the elements far better than the wood---and at a much more affordable price. I would (will) definitely hire J & J again for future window replacements, and I can recommend them without reservation.

Went by sections, removed old alum. siding and old paper like siding, putting up plywood sheeting before replacing with vinyl. took down gutters and recovered fascia boards. put up a vapor barrier before putting new siding. started on a Monday and finished on Saturday, would have finished on Friday but lost a day due to rain. Did a great job, looks good.

We asked for a quote and received a very reasonable one. Unfortunately, the work we planned for our condominium complex that involved this company, was voted down and we were not able to go forward. The people we dealt with over the phone were very courteous and enjoyable to work with.

I had J and J replace all the gutters and downspouts on the house. I also had them replace the old shutters and repair storm damage to soffits and fascia. Initial contact with salesman was good. He listened carefully, making sure to include special considerations into the work description. J and J was a little more expensive than other quotes, but I chose them due to the extra care he showed during sales discussions. Lead time was a little too long and communication during this time could have been better. The work crew was professional and did very good work. We needed some special consideration given to our shutters and he took the time to do it right. The crew boss also took extra time to show and explain to me what they were doing. Very satisfied with the work that was done and the way we were treated.

A crew of 3 worked 8 hours to measure, cut, and form trim around 15 large windows which comprise almost the entire front surface of this room. It is a very important structural part of the house. This was very labor intensive. It took twice as long as estimated but the work was done efficiently and without complaint. They completely cleaned up upon completion. This was done for maintenance reasons, but it looks so much better people notice the difference even from the street. Everyone involved was a pleasure to work with and I would never consider hiring anyone else.

Three window installers arrived at the time they said they would arrive, not too early in the morning, and proceeded to remove the existing windows. There was no damage to existing/remaining trim, walls, carpeting, sills and outside siding. The new casements were installed just as envisioned, with the care and quality of workmanship one would expect as if I were doing it myself. Cracks and crevices were caulked to maintain the soundness we desired. Work on all three windows was completed in one day, and the installers stayed into the evening until complete. A minimum of painting is required to color match with existing house trim. Just an expert job, and they made it look so easy, I'm tempted to replace the windows myself in another 45 years.......Can't think of anything they did not do for us.

J&J siding was great. I liked that I could submit the information online and that the person who called me with a quote already then knew what needed to be repaired. They worked with me to just repair the old siding since I couldn't afford the expense of replacing the entire section at that time. If I need siding repair/replacement again I'll be calling them!

J&J Siding was incredible. From the time I called for a quote to the final work, they were impressive with their professionalism and responsiveness, honesty and quality. Our installer was Jenny, I was surprised to see a woman, and to find out she was going to install the door by herself..... Well, she did an amazing job removing the old door, cleaning up, prepping for the new door and installing the door. I would recommend J and J for any of the products or services they offer. Jenny is a true asset to this company, she breaks the mold of contractors. Look out guys, she does great work. Thanks to all.

The estimate was fine, they came out and explained what we needed. We paid half upfront. One person came out to measure and they are schedule to come out when the windows come in. Some are basement windows and some bedroom windows. They are very professional. We did received a discount since we are Angie's list members.

The attention to my problem was spot on. They listened well, asked specific questions, consulted others in the company and helped me with an appropriate plan of action though no money changed hands. I know there is more weight given to paying customers, but the direction and patience they showed me was priceless.
