I noticed some winged insects in my garage. A quick google search confirmed my fears of termites. I called Woods Mill Pest Control. I described what I saw. They explained to me that they were probably swarmers and what that meant. I scheduled an appointment and Jim showed up promptly. I showed him what I had seen and he confirmed they were swarmers. He did a complete inspection both inside and out and then we sat down to discuss his findings. He detailed what he fournd and didn't find, the procedure he recommended as well as the solution used. He was incredibly thorough and answered all of my questions. I scheduled an appointment for treatment and it was performed without problem. In order to do the garage, I had to move the cars and place everything lining the garage in the middle of the garage so they could treat the inside perimeter of the garage. When they were done, Jim even put everything back where it went. I am very happy with the service I received and will confidently recommend them to family and friends.

They could not come out for a week so I had to wait a week to address the potential rat issue, however the gentleman arrived promptly when he said he would, he walked around the property, listened to my situation, explained what he was doing with the trap and that it was mine to keep (but that they have the key for it). He baited it and put it out where the rat would run, though he said he didn't see any rat droppings or evidence of a rat. He said he would come back the following Monday to check the trap - as far as I know he didn't. He said they would call me in a week to see if I had noticed anything, but I did not receive a call back. I asked about ants and spiders and he said he could spray for them while he was there. He explained what he was using and he sprayed around the exterior of my house and was understanding about avoiding the interior due to pets with kidney issues. He also listened to my concerns about the "pond" in my neighbor's back yard (the result of a collapsed above ground pool) and he explained how it would encourage rodents to nest near by and that I should contact the city and tell them my concerns mentioning specifically that my exterminator agrees it will be an issue and already is (the city looked into it and the unintentional "pond" is now filled in with sand). Overall the experience was good, the bill was $95 for the trap, bait, and spray. The provider did not push any additional services on me, didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need, but also they didn't contact me back, otherwise I likely would have signed up for recurring pest control. Instead I'll be managing it myself. I do recommend this provider, but not for urgent needs as they seem to have quite a wait. A side note - a month later I'm noticing a ton of ants all around my property so I will need to spray again.

I called about 3 or 4 weeks later and they returned and did it all over again. First visit was 70 second was 40. I asked what I would be charged if I had to have them again. He said he would "make a note on my acct." Not sure what that means. Last year I had Terminex. They were here 5 times! I did not call them this year

Woods Mill Pest Control came to our rescue when we experienced a swarm of termites in our basement (yuck!). We were first impressed that they responded to our call so quickly. They were willing to come out & take a look at the situation on a Sunday morning. We had 4 estimates for termite treatments and Woods Mill had the best price using a high-quality product. They arrived promptly as scheduled, answered all of our questions, and left our home/yard in good condition when they were finished. So far no evidence of any more termites. Getting the problem fixed quickly at a reasonable cost is exactly what we were looking for - nice job.

The service person showed up about 30 minutes earlier than I had been expecting him, but fortunately I was at home. He looked around the house for signs of where the ants were coming from. He found and treated several ant nests just outside our home and we haven't had any problems with ants since then. He searched the basement for the mice and found only one place where they had been nesting in some insulation. However, he couldn't find any signs of where they came in and didn't find any sign of them other than 1 dead mouse. Because we have indoor cats, it wasn't safe to put out poison or traps.

Jim owns the company and is a true professional. I had gotten 3 bids for this service and not only was the price reasonable but I felt totally comforatable with having this company do the job. I highly recommend them.

We used this company in March for mice control, and then had them back in April for termite treatment. Bryan's approach was thorough and knowledgeable with the mouse problem. He said he would come back to temporarily seal an area in our front porch that may have allowed mice to enter and he did, promptly! Jim took the time to explain and show me the termite damage. The overall experience with this company was both positive and professional. I now consider them my pest control people!

Used them last year and they came out several times to take care of the same problem (ants) and they were very professional and always came out quickly when we needed them. Was recommended to get a Power Spray for the outside and a couple of spot treatments where the ants were seen most. We were not home at the time of the treatment but were left a note about what was done and what was found. We would use them again - it would just be nice if we could get rid or at least scale down the amount of ants we've seen (had problems with ants the past 3 years and always in large amounts).

Woodsmill came out last week because we reported an ant problem in our kitchen and back bedroom. The first guy to come out was Patrick and he laid bait for the ants to take back to their nests. He also sprayed in and out of the house. He informed us to not touch the ants and let them live so that they could carry the poison to the nest. He said to call back if they weren't gone in a week. We did so and a week later we still had some ants in both areas. I called and they were quick to set up another appointment and were very professional on the phone. Today we had Bryan O'Neal come. He was a little late, but, he apologized and was very pleasant. He more than made up for it because he took the time to explain how to best deal with the ants and what he was doing to get rid of our problem. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his professionalism. He was able to find an ant nest and said that he sprayed the area and it should take care of the problem. He said to call him by next week if we still see ants and that he would come back at no charge to take care of it. We definitely will be using them in the future!

It's a yearly contract. They do the inside too twice a year. They are professional. They are always punctual. They call me when I'm due so I don't have to remember. They only do the same places. They don't have a lot of turn over everything. It's like a family run type of a thing and everybody knows everybody. It's really nice. I have 2 dogs and 3 kids at home as it's always my first question to check about their safety. They are great as far as that. It's very safe. I would continue to use them in the future.

Phenomenal service, great price, did what they said they were going to do. Did not charge for extra trips. This is the absolute best service company in St. Louis, you must use them if you have squirrels in your attic. You will not be sorry.

Excellent service from professionally trained Patrick who arrived on time, assessed our problem and provided the service. Last year, Lou who also was well trained and knowledgeable provided excellent service for our home. I highly recommend the company.

I cannot speak highly enough about this experience. The man that came (Bryan O'Neal) explained everything to me and described their services. He told me what he would suggest we do on a quarterly schedule. I was going to have our new house preventatively treated for termites and he told me it would not be necessary for 5 to 7 years. I appreciated his honesty, his excellent manners, his expertise in the field, and his sharing of valuable information regarding our house and how to handle this service. He then sprayed the interior and exterior of the house and when he was done he came back inside and told me about a few things we could do to prevent bugs in the future. He also wore shoe covers each time he came into the house. How nice is that? If you want an honest service for exterminating or preventative treatments, this is the company to call!

I chose them because they use a more green, environmental friendlier approach. He had a great knowledge base and seemed to have a lot of experience as well. They are very reasonable and will be back this spring. They do both inside and outside pest control.

Jim was incredibly professional and friendly. Excellent communications (phone calls when we were told they would occur, etc.) Prompt arrivals and efficient, quick service visits. Highly recommended without hesitation!

Promptly scheduled appointment. Arrived on time. I was impressed with credentials and long-time experience. Did very thorough inspection - basement, outside walls, etc. and pointed out things that weren't to worry about. Very polite and knowledgable. I got more than I'd asked for.

Lou came out and showed up right on time. He looked around in all the nooks and crannies and determined where most of the activity was. He even went through all my wife's shoes in the closet because we thought that was where they were nesting. He ended up setting up traditional snap traps, glue traps, and poison bait stations. The bait stations come in a plastic container that the mice crawl through so our dog couldn't get to the poison. He also advised us of all the places they could possibly be entering the house and ways to fix them so they can't get in. He came back in 3 days and checked all the traps and we had caught 1 mouse. He wasn't pushy at all and even advised us that we could check the traps ourselves and throw out anything caught if we didn't want to spend the money for him to come back out. Luckily, we haven't had anything else in the traps. My only advice would to be careful with the bait stations if you have pets. Our dog drug one of the ones outside out into the middle of the yard and chewed a hole through it. Luckily he didn't get to the bait but could have turned out bad. I would recommend putting something else over the bait box so pets can't get to them (wooden box or gate or something).

They were efficient, wonderful, prompt and a joy to do business with. We have used them for repeat business and have recommended them to our friends. Most importantly, they took care of our bug problems.

Showed up maybe 10 minutes late, but no biggie. Asked exactly what problems we had, then said he would spray the outside and inside of the house. Took about 15-20 minutes complete the spraying. Exterminator told me if I'm still having issues in 2 weeks to call and they would come back out free to respray. Overall great experience, from the call to setup the appointment through the offer to be billed or pay the exterminator. I will be calling them out in the spring to spray again

I chose them because they had a good rating and they weren?t trying to sell you an annual package. Lou was awesome and he worked with us because we have dogs. He made sure he used appropriate stuff where he could and then warned us not to let them in the basement for a couple hours because he used more toxic stuff down there because it needed it.
