Fresh Air Heating & Cooling

We hired Fresh Air for an annual service agreement -- they came out once in the spring and cleaned our AC unit and ensured it was tuned up. Then, they called me in the fall to schedule the fall heating system tune up. It was great that I didn't have to remember to call to schedule it -- they did it on their end. They then came and tuned up the furnace, making it sound like it's running much smoother so I know they did something good to prolong its longevity! We will definitely use them again for an annual service agreement, and then any issues we encounter that are not scheduled maintenance.

It went well. They were punctual, honest, skilled and clean. They didn't charge us for something we didn't need. Since we had a home owners warranty, we had to go through the warranty company to get our system replaced. That took several weeks to get accomplished. I would use Fresh Air Heating and Cooling again.

Our air condition stop functioning and was leaking refrigerant. We had a different contractor come out and make the initial diagnosis and they also discovered a crack in the heat exchanger of the furnace. The furnace was 40 years old so yeah, it was time to have that replaced anyway. We called Fresh Air to come out and give us a second quote and they came in more than $1000 lower. We didn't get anything fancy because we are selling our house soon so we went with a 13 seer AC and 80% efficient furnace. Two guys showed up on time on the day of the installation. It took most of the day, but they worked with little interruption and got the job done. They did quality work as far as I could tell and were friendly when I spoke to them. Temperatures have been mild since the installation, but we did get a chance to test out both the AC and furnace and both seem to function well...better than the old stuff in fact. I would use these guys again.

I would never use this provider again, and do not recommend them to others. Our AC unit wasn't working, so I purchased a diagnoistic, and they sent out a technician. The technician told me that the unit was out of freon, so he went ahead and pumped it full of 6 lbs of freon. He didn't ask me if this was the route I wanted to take, he just did it. What I didn't know was that our unit had a leak, and the freon he added just leaked out within 2 weeks. We called a different company to come out the next time, and they fixed the leak and the problem. When I called Fresh Air to understand why they did what they did, and to see if they would reimburse us for service, they told me that they don't recommend fixing a leak in an old unit, because it will likely leak elsewhere. If that's the case, why fill the unit with an entire 6 lbs of freon? Why not test it out with just 1 lb? Also, based Also, our second service provider charged about $10 less per lb of freon than Fresh Air did. Fresh Air charged around $55/lb, which our second provider said was highway robbery. As I'm a first time homebuyer, I would expect that a service provider would educate me about the pros and cons of a certain action. Especially if that action came with a $400 price tag.

Price quoted for future service was higher than competitive rates in our area.

They analyzed the problem with the A/C unit and let me know they were able to repair it the same day. The A/C was repaired and my tenant hasn't had any issues since then. I'm an out of state owner who was working at the time of the issue with the A/C. I was tied up in a client meeting so there was a delay with reaching me. I returned the call from the technician as quickly as I could, but he made it clear that he was annoyed and not able to work late that day. I would've appreciated more professionalism in his communication with me. The office staff that scheduled the appointment was great to work with and represented the organization in a professional manner.

Our air conditioner stopped working on Sunday night. I called Fresh-Air and they sent a repair person (Howard) first thing Monday morning. Howard looked it over and decided that the air conditioner had overheated, most likely due to a tarp that had been placed over the unit when our deck was stained. Howard was able to fix the problem and did not charge me for the call. Excellent Service!

Part of the metal duct trunk was replaced & a new lever was installed. It is easy to move the lever to change the flow of air to the vents. Brad explained how the movement of the lever affected the percentage of air flow directed to either side of the house. We expect that the temperature of the bedrooms & bathrooms will no longer feel significantly different from the rest of the house.

Our experience was really great and I can't say enough nice things about the service call this past Wednesday. I was able to get an appointment very quickly by using their online reservation service. Every individual I've spoken with treated me very kindly and respectfully. We look forward to many happy years using Fresh-Air as our main HVAC service provider.

My brother ran into AC problems in a home we own and called Fresh Air. Within a couple of hours of calling, the issue was resolved. Fast, efficient, courteous and reasonably priced service.

Our air conditioning unit had frost on it. We contacted Fresh Air on a Sunday afternoon and they returned our call immediately. We asked them to come on Monday morning and they arrived right on time. They checked our unit out, diagnosed the problem and answered all of our questions. They were great! We will have them out in the fall to check out the heating unit!

Howard was here and resolved our ac issue within 15 minutes. He was very professional and thorough. I world recommend Fresh Air to anyone who needs assistance with hvac issues.

Everything went as scheduled. Technician showed up as scheduled and went right to work. Very professional. Did an outstanding job.

Howard was great, diagnosed and fixed the problem right away. We had a little trouble using the coupon that we purchased but the office was easy to work with in sorting it all out. We've already used them again for a problem we were having with another unit.

In January our furnace stopped working. Outside temperatures were very cold and we needed to have it repaired as soon as possible. After contacting Fresh Air, they were able to come out right away (on a Saturday). They needed a part that they didn't have on their truck. They were able to get the part and had it installed the following Monday. The technician was very professional, identified the issue right away, was prompt and courteous. Customer service in their office (for setting up the appointments) was excellent! Very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Technician was on time, did the work required and then some. All went well. Will use again.

Just like our last visit from Fresh Air (for our furnace this winter), the gentleman that worked on our air conditioner was prompt and professional. Both times the work done was a quick and relatively inexpensive fix; they don't appear to be the type of company that will try to up-sell additional and unnecessary work, which we really appreciate. As small business owners ourselves, we esteem personal integrity, great customer service, a good work ethic, and a good value for our dollar. We have experienced all of this with Fresh Air and will use them again in the future and recommend them to friends in need of their services.

They were prompt and professional. He explained what he was going to do, he did it and then he checked that it was working properly. He was neat in his appearance and left the work area clean. When he was leaving he explained what to do in case something unexpected happened with the new blower.

My air conditioning unit stop working at 1am on Sunday morning. I called the 24 service and left a massage. I received a call back within 5 minutes! I explained we were without air and she scheduled a technician to come out in the morning. The technician was at my house at 10 am (9 hours after I called and on a Sunday). He identify the issue - the dual capacitor was blown. He has the part on his truck and 45 minutes later my air was working again. Service call plus parts was $181 feel is very reasonable. I highly recommend this company!

Jeff was very professional and took time to explain everything to me. He checked but did not find a leak at this time. He told me what to watch for, and to call anytime if there appeared to be anymore problems. I will definitely call Fresh Air again if I have any other AC or furnace problems. They have serviced my home heating and cooling since 1998, and are always helpful and considerate.

The service guy and the office lady were exceptionally kind and professional. The service guy was right on time, sleuthed the issue and even helped me solve some other problems. I would certainly call them again.

Great, they were able to swap out a small part instead of replacing the entire unit.

Our furnace was not working, so I purchased the deal for a $59 diagnostic service through Angie's List. I was immediately called by Fresh Air Heating and Cooling to schedule an appointment for later that afternoon. I had them put me down for after 3pm and the technician arrived at 5pm. Todd was the technician and he knew right away what the problem was. The furnace needed a new igniter which was quickly replaced. The whole visit took less than half an hour. The only thing I'm a little unsure of is the price of the igniter and install ($172). Also, when I paid for the service I forgot that I had already paid for the diagnostic through Angie's List so I got charged for that again. However, the next morning I received a call from Fresh Air to check how everything went, alert me of the payment error, and let me know that they would be sending me a check to correct the transaction. They could have just let it go and I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it. Everyone I dealt with over the phone and in person was very friendly and professional. I will definitely call Fresh Air Heating and Cooling again if I run into any future HVAC issues.

My humidifiers don't seem to get as much humidity in the air now. They were here on time. They charge a flat fee of $89. If there's something that needed to be prepared, there's an additional cost.
