Cynthia Behr

I found Cynthia Behr through Angie's List and reached out to her due to the very positive feedback she had received on the site. My family was moving from out of state so we needed someone who knew the area and could assist in the home search. Cynthia exceed our expectations. She was always very prepared, and was continuously reviewing data and listings to help us find the perfect home. It was very clear that real estate is her passion, and not just a job. Cynthia helped us through every step of the process, and she was even able to help recommend experts for when we decided to make some upgrades to the new home. We could not have been more pleased with Cynthia, and we would highly recommend her to others.

Let me start by saying that my wife and I certainly didn't make it easy on Cynthia throughout this home buying process, but she took everything in stride and made our lives much easier.

First of all, we started off not knowing the type of home that we were looking for AND we weren't really sure where we wanted to live either. We drew a big circle on a map of the St. Louis area, and then looked up at Cynthia. Over the course of the next 8 months, we were able to not only narrow down an area to live, but we also developed a sense of what we really wanted/needed in a home. Cynthia was there every step of the way guiding/advising us.

I never felt at any point that she let her personal opinions of a home get in the way of objectively advising us about the MANY homes that we looked at. This was not only very helpful, but also very comforting.

Cynthia also did a terrific job of not making it seem as though we were a burden for taking nearly a year to find a home. She never seemed annoyed with us and certainly didn't rush us into making a bad decision on a home just to 'get on to the next buyers'.

I don't think that I can say enough about how comfortable/confident/assured we felt throughout the entire home buying process once we started working with Cynthia. She took a very daunting task and broke it down into many manageable steps which, in turn, made this whole process stress-free.....as much as buying a first home can be, that is!!!

On the day that we closed on our home, Cynthia was right there to not only give us some last-minute advice, but also to inform us that she would continue to be a source of knowledge for us if we had any further questions/concerns.

Overall, I don't think that anyone else could have made this process any more enjoyable. My wife and I are truly happy with our home AND our decision to have Cynthia Behr guide us along the way.

Our experience with Cynthia was great! She spent 2 months looking at houses with us, mostly on weekends and for 3-4 hours at a time before we went under contract on our house. She was very patient with us as we figured out what areas we wanted to concentrate our search on and what type of house we wanted. After we talked with her the first time she set us up with e-mail alerts on the houses in the areas, price range and size we wanted. We got updates every time a new house met our criteria so we were constantly up to date on what we could look at. We never once felt pressured to spend more than we wanted to because Cynthia is always conscious of your budget and won't show you houses above your budget unless you ask her too.
When we were looking at houses with her, Cynthia would take us on little tours so that we could get a feel for the towns and the neighborhoods we were interested in. She always pointed out the good and the bad of a house and even had suggestions on how to make houses work better for us. The best part was that once she got to know what we were looking for, she would go and preview the houses that we liked and tell us whether or not they were worth our time to look at. That saved us so much time, especially since we were trying to buy a house before our wedding.
Once we got down to finally making an offer, she walked us through each step of the process and called as soon as she heard anything from the sellers. She also made sure that we understood what happened at each step of the closing process and was with us when we signed the final closing documents.
Buying a house with Cynthia was very easy and we will be using her again when we grow out of this house. You won't be disappointed with her!
