I would not consider this company because they were so unresponsive to what the customer requests. They push what they want to sell. I found Ron to be an extremely poor listener only interested in finding ways to push their product line. I could not have been more specific about what I wanted and he provided me what he wanted to sell. It was pretty amazing. In short, because someone says they are not a hard sell, does not mean they are not. Frankly I am surprised Angie's List allows them to advertise in your publications.

Price quote went very smoothly. They were not the cheapest, but then again price is NOT the sole factor in selecting a contractor. Customer Service Rep called ahead and confirmed project and install date... very professional. Crew arrived exactly on time and completed the job in less than one day. No mess to clean... just perfect.

Excellent service and installation combined with quality product. Good clean-up and minimal construction mess/damage (Construction jobs always seem to cause a bit of mess and some damage). This was a one day job, completed as expected with no major problems (I realize that construction always comes with a few hiccups, every time). Remember that some municipalities require permit fees, which add time and cost to the project. Once the contract was signed, the crew showed up in a timely fashion; return crews also showed up in a timely fashion to finish the job. I highly recommend requesting the Bosnian crews. All in all, a job well done, based on my experience, I would recommend Chesterfield Fence without reservation.

The salesman who came out was extremely pleasant. When he shared the cost to replace wire mesh on a pre-existing chain link fence 2 years old, I was absolutely in shock! He left immediately! It was very disappointing!

My fence was damaged by storms last July. I called the company, and they were here within a week to give an estimate. Dawne was very helpful in giving me a realistic appraisal. There was no pressure to sell me new fencing. I really appreciated that. She told me exactly what would be done, and everything worked very smoothly. The company called before coming to do the repairs as requested. The workers were courteous. The company sent the lien waiver and warranty within three days of completing the repairs. Service was exceptional from beginning to end.

They did a great job from start to finish. When I first called to get an estimate, I got a call back within an hour. Abdul, the company representative, was very patient in working with me since this was the first time that I ever had a fence install. He explained the entire process to me in great detail. Any fears that I had were put to ease. The appointment was scheduled based on my time schedule and the schedule in which I wanted the work done. I had some issues determining my property lines, and they were patient and helpful when I had to resolve them. The installer took great care to help me resolve any remaining issues on the installation. The company scheduler, Tracy, was extremely pleasant to work with. I was equally happy with the price and quality of the job.

Prompt appt with salesperson who seemed knowledgeable. Crew of 3 did the job in one day. The fence looks great with better construction than the old fence from developer (3 rails). They were careful about small trees close to fence. Site was very clean after they left.

Our sales rep, Ron Clayton came to our house and gave us a bid right on the spot. He was very professional and friendly. We told him we would think about the bid and give him a call. We called him back a few days later, and then only waited about two weeks before we had our new railing in. We were very happy with the results.

The crew did a good job. They initial put up the wrong fence, but immediately corrected the mistake when I called them.

Came out for the estimate as planned, estimated on the spot, gave me an idea of when they would be able send a work team. Sent the work team at predicted time. Work was professional and did a fantastic job. When I had a problem with one of the posts, called and they came out to fix it at anticipated repair date. What a positive experience.

Workers were on time for appointment. Did a very good job.

They did an excellent job. My only complaint is that it took awhile to get back to me. I feel there is a disconnect between the office and the workers.

The overall experience was excellent and the new fence looks very nice. The wait from planning to installation was minimum because it was installed in early spring. The works was done in one long day, which was impressive. The 3 man crew worked very hard. We did not like the appearance of the gates (2) when they were first installed and they immediately redid them to our specification. There were some minor cosmetic imperfections, but we decided to live with them; it was not an easy fence to build in such a short time because of the English lattice top. The quality and appearance of the wood and strength of the construction is great.

They were upfront stating that they don't specialize in small jobs, but would give an estimate. The estimator was very knowledgeable and provided good information, left samples of the wood, gave reasons why to go with them. However the price was 3X the amount of other estimates.

The salesman presented multiple options and presented the best price for 2 different products. Installers were professional, and it was completed in a couple hours with no mess leftover.

The sales person was very informative, courteous, and accommodating. We had some miscommunication regarding scheduling, but once that was resolved, the fence was installed within 2 weeks. The workers were knowledgeable and extremely hardworking. They even installed our fence in the extremely cold and snowy weather which was wonderful so that my husband, my dog and I could move into our new home.

They were fantastic. From the sales call to the staking of the fence to the installation, they were professional. They demonstrated solid expertise. They were easy to deal with and very friendly about it.

Chesterfield was very quick and efficient, finishing the job in 2 days, which is pretty impressive considering that this 6 to 7 foot fence encloses a large backyard.

Chesterfield has done a very nice job for us both times. The estimator was very nice. The installers did a very nice, neat job, with little disturbance to anything around the fence. (We were able to get Chesterfield Fence to beat the competition's bid for the same job and materials).

They did an excellent job with our fence. In fact, I admire it every time I look in the backyard. Their prices were fair and we would use them again in the future.

These people do really quality work. There were three different installation crews for each phase of the project. The office kept me updated and coordinated the installation. Some delays were necessitated by my subdivision, however everyone at Chesterfield Fence was most helpful and patient.

The employee, Williams, who made the estimate was extremely professional and competent. She spent at least an hour locating my property line markers and sparing me the expense of another survey. The workers who installed the fence arrived on time and installed the entire fence in one day. I would highly recommend this company.

The installation and price were very good. We were a little disappointed in the follow-up service. We had a problem with the fence and they wanted the money before it was completed. Otherwise, good company and service.

Woman was nice. Price really high for small yard.
