over 2 months to start job then didn't set up work for 2 days because they use regular concrete instead of quickrite post cement just finished job 3 days ago not sure all posts or level

We had an 6’ cedar privacy fence with an 8’ back fence where the top 3’ is lattice. They did a top notch job. We could not be happier. The material and workmanship is quality. I highly recommend Chesterfield Fence and this is the second time we used them.

We ordered a Split rail fence and had an excellent experience with Chesterfield Fence. Every step of the process was very professional. They did exactly what was promised. We were very specific on our requirements and everybody at Chesterfield fence went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. Steve, the consultant came on time and was very detailed in the contract. Lee and Nickie planned everything perfectly, keeping us updated on a timely manner. Kenny and his crew did a very good job installing the fence exactly as we wanted. They were very professional, efficient, courteous and responsive to our questions. They left a clean jobsite and respected not only our yard but also our neighbors’ properties. We got a lot of praises for that. When the fence was done, a quality control person came to make sure the job was done right. We highly recommend Chesterfield fence and we will not hesitate to use them again.

All of our contact with Chesterfield Fence was professional and courteous. All costs were up front and everyone from the estimator, to the to the scheduler, to the installation team were top notch. The team that installed our fence worked with us to fine tune the final appearance of the fence to our desire without a hiccup or objection. They took an active interest in the appearance and detail of the fencing and obviously took great pride in their work. The job was not done until we and the team itself were satisfied. This is the kind of company that is hard to find in today’s market. Be sure to give them a call and use them without hesitation.

They did a great job and were professional. The guys who actually worked on the fence were friendly and worked quickly, but they didn't line the points of the scallops up behind the posts. When I asked them about it they said that it's impossible to get them straight on, that they were just following a cutting guide (they cut the boards after they install them). I called the office and waited for the manager, explained the situation and sent him pictures. He told me that of course it could be fixed (I don't know what all that was about), so they came back out in a couple of weeks to fix it. The only downside of that was that I was weatherproofing the fence and couldn't do it all at the same time. Also you have to do the permit part yourself unless you pay an extra $400, but they tell you what to do. (For the price of the fence, I think that's kind of ridiculous.) Overall, I would definitely hire them again and I gave them good ratings because they fixed the things that were not done right the first time at no extra charge and the fence is very sturdy and looks fantastic. They were also very pleasant. Also, when you get the warranty it says something like it is valid unless you do something to endanger the wood unnecessarily. Don't quote me on that, but you might want to ask to see an example of the final warranty document you will receive to make sure that it's what you're expecting.

Job was completed in one day, and looks amazing. Well worth the money.

I could not be happier with the results. The fence looks beautiful. The type of wood used is of high quality. The installers were friendly, professional and responded to all my questions and requests.

The service was great! The two man team performed the work in under 2 weeks, from arrival on site. They even put the metal gazebo back on the deck and added boards to secure it.

He came to the house with lots of pictures to help us choose. He was very helpful and did not try to sell us the most expensive thing. On two occasions that we used them, they underestimated how long it would be before they could get to us and underestimated how long the work itself would take (by a lot). The work itself was done well with care and they did not take shortcuts. I am happy with the results and would use them again.

In the end the deck is beautiful and we could not be happier. Chesterfield Fence and Deck stand by their work. We had them out early this summer to take care of a very small issue and it was handled quickly.

From start to finish, communication and service was exceptional. They were ready for installation 2 weeks ahead of time. The crew made sure we were happy with the placement of the fence and gates, especially with sloping sides of our yard due to the walkout basement. They got the entire fence installed and cleaned up in one day.

Excellent. The three man crew of Bret, John and Ryan were the most professional workers that we've ever had at our home. It was gratifying to see people doing their jobs instead of constantly on a cell phone like we see so often. As a matter of fact, except for short well deserved breaks, we never observed anything but work being done. Our deck is sturdy and well built with really nice fit and finish, even the inspector stated that he felt we had an outstanding result. We would definitely recommend Chesterfield Fence and Deck.

They are doing a great job. They were right on time and their price was very competitive. They are here right now, and so far they have picked up after themselves. The fence looks beautiful, really nice. It is a new fence next to a 20 year old fence. They matched the woodwork perectly. Right now it is almost too pretty to repaint. I would use them again. They have been very professional, very very respectful of my neighbor's and my property. They have done a beautiful job of cleaning up, it looks better than when they got here. They put the original fence in, but they were the best out of several bids I received. Not cheap, but very fair.

The project went very well overall. The thing I most appreciated with Chesterfield, as with any other contractor, is if something goes wrong they take ownership and make it right. During most construction projects, unexpected things are going to happen, so its how you deal with them that proves your worth. And Chesterfield made sure everything was right at the end of the day. So, even if they are priced a little higher (however, I have to say in my case they were very competitive), I would still go with them because you know they will stand by their work. My only gripe is that responsiveness was slow. As I said, they always got back to me and addressed issues, but it took awhile and a little work on my part. But again, I would use them again without hesitation.

Abdul the rep. was prompt and always available for questions and very prepared with his iPad collection of photographs. The fence team led by Almir was prompt and communicated well. The craftmanship on the cedar fence was great, especially on the three built on site gates. The clean up went beyond anything I expected. The crew was personable, well groomed and easy to work with at all times. The gate crew led by Jasmin for the two six foot gates for a parking place was prompt and got the metal fabrication done in a much shorter time than I expected. The custom metal frame was perfect and the wood work was very good and we really like the choice of hardware. The installation was perfect in all ways. Despite really nasty weather set backs the job was completed earlier than we expected and the office staffs were always available for questions and real people answer the telephones. We would most definitely use them again!!! The cost was fine and we really got our monies worth. We were also very pleased with the landscape timber work done by Mike Davis as a sub contractor for Chesterfield. Superb.

They were supposed to be here at noon and did not show up until 6:00pm

Very pleased with Chesterfield for our new porch and steps. They came up with a detailed plan, and reworked the plan when we needed to meet permit requirements. Work was completed within a couple weeks after we received the permit. There was a slight defect on the balusters and Chesterfield came and fixed the next day. We communicated mainly by email, which usually worked but they could have been more proactive keeping me updated on progress. Looking forward to enjoying a maintenance free porch for many years to come.

Had the entire fence put in the ground within 7 hours of starting. They worked well in our timeline.

We were very satisfied. The deck was installed on time and no changes to the estimated amount.

They were very easy to deal with and performed quality work. A bit more expensive than other bids, but better warranty.
