As the project was progressing, Lou presented us with a few ideas addressing some areas of our yard that needed attention. After seeing the impressive work on the flower beds that she and her workers had nearly completed, we decided to follow her recommendations. They took some existing rock, large flat stone from a previous unfinished project that was laying around, and restructured it on the side of our house to make a long walkway, 4ft wide by 30ft long. We would have never thought of the idea, and quite frankly, it's one of our favorite parts of the yard! I've seen other natural stone walkways and was not impressed, but our pathway is the best I've ever seen! We're very happy with the work and our awaiting her to return this year! Also, they left the job site neat and orderly every evening. We have used Angie's list to find other contractor's before, and it has helped us a lot. With that being said, we would highly recommend her and her company to anyone who is in need of landscaping services.
Description of Work: We were searching for a professional landscape company to provide us with beautiful, yet cost effective, landscaping ideas. As we had very little experience in landscaping, we decided to interview numerous vendors to make sure we were getting the best. We ultimately selected Ms. Lou Williams from NobleHill Landscaping. To begin with, Ms. Williams arrived on time and prepared. She provided us with credentials being licensed, with letters of reference and a degree from Missouri State University. Her ideas were creative utilizing existing plants and shrubs while integrating new colors and textures, all the while keeping our budget in mind. One of the most impressive aspects of this large project was the attention to detail. She asked many questions about our likes and dislikes from color of plants, size, texture, maintenance, as well as any allergies. Our project was as follows: 3 large flower beds- completely renovated. Relocating some of our existing plants, planting and arranging the plants, reconstituting the soil, improved our irrigation: Large walkway- completely excavated and leveled the side of our house, properly prepared and set the stone including sealing with a bonding agent in between the rocks assuring us of the walkways longevity and stability (not the rickety rock paths you see other places that you rock back and forth on)
