The technician showed up on time and was very professional. He sprayed all around our house to get rid of ants. So far we had few ants here and there but so far the problem was resolved. I would recommend this company and if we ever need any additional work - we will definitely use them again.

Prompt and responsive service at a very fair price. Josh is actually a horticulturist so he has great background knowledge. We started about 1 month ago. So far, very happy with service. Any requests or concerns promptly attended to. Yard is looking great!

Mulch was put down in the front and back that we never asked for or ordered. Noticed mulch in back yard and called Ground guys asking when they were coming out as I could not figure out where the mulch came from. I called them back and they said they had already been there. Was shocked as there was still loose mulch in the yard and leaves all along the back fence. I took pictures and they came back out again. I will still billed for mulch that I never ordered. My original request to them was to remove leaves and mulch. I emailed back at a later date before they came to the house and asked them to just do the back yard as my son had raked the front yard. I am now paying for mulch in the front and back yard that I did not order. I just wanted it cleaned up and removed so that i could do some planting before i put it back down myself. i will say they may have sent a work order that included mulch but since I never ordered it I may have missed it if it was on there. Will pay full bill they sent me but will not use them again or recommend them. Very disappointed as they came highly recommended from angies list.

We were able to get an immediate bid. The owner of the company was prompt, polite, and had a very professional appearance. They were on time the day of the job, and did a wonderful job on the mulch. We were impressed with the care that was taken to ensure that our yard looked great. They didn't leave a bit of mulch on the driveway! We would definitely recommend The Grounds Guys.

We used Grounds Guys for weekly lawn maintenance when we first moved into our home, before our belongings had arrived (mower). They did such a great job that we continued to use them for a good portion of the summer. They would even blow off the tree debris from our driveway and walkway, which was very nice. We also had them do a one time large scale leaf removal from a portion of our yard. The leaves had been dumped there by previous owner over some time, leaving a very thick bedding of leaves. They had to remove them by hand since it was off season for leaf removal, but they did a great job. I feel the price charged (600) was fair for the amount of labor it took to do the service. Josh, the contact person who always gave us quotes, is very responsive and great to deal with. We will use them in the future for various outdoor maintenance projects.

I can't yet comment on the annual service, I only had my first pre-emergent application. I hired them to replace another common company (something Green) that I thought were not very impressive. The flower bed work was really good. They cleaned up the beds, which are not big but had a lot of weed and grass over growth. They also did a good job of trimming the bushes. Mulch was done as well, and all for $200 which is worth it for me. I am definitley doing this next year. Talked to Joshua a few times, nice dude and to the point. I was at work when they came, my wife says they were very professional and she was happy with them.

It was not what I thought. The young men cut back some of the bushes too much and didn't clean the beds as good as they should have. The young man in charge was very nice and helpful. The help he sent was young and I felt didn't use their time efficiently and I feel could have done a better job. I would not use again b/c it was over my budget and that was my fault. If you have big budget I would say use them.

They raked, bagged and hauled away tons of leaves. It looked great!

It worked out fine. The price was really good. They did what they were supposed to. They took really good care.

Things went very well. Josh was responsive in all communications (email, phone) Was customer service oriented. We set up a bi-weekly schedule and he executed without any issues as agreed, until the house was sold. We used Ground Guys of Ballwin for approx. 3-4 months duration over the summer months. His guys would check to make sure the mowing was needed, so that I was not charged if the grass had not grown much. This showed very good honesty and ethics, in that i was not in town to see for myself, and he could have mowed and charged me for it and I would not have known otherwise. I was pleased with Josh and The Ground Guys of Ballwin.

These guys were very efficient did an excellent job. Price wise fantastic.

I planted a trumpet vine in my garden--a very small plant that over the past six years or so grew by roots by leaps and bounds all over my backyard, both fences and into 2 neighbors yards. I got 4 hours of work--2 guys, 2 hours and they finished only half of the problem. They did such a good job that I had them come back to finish the work they started. That was today, and I am completely happy with the job that they did. The special was quite a deal. I paid for 8 hours of work today at regular price, but it was worth it. Both my neighbors complemented the men on the job they did in their yards and how pleasant the men were. I would hire these men again for any type of yard work. They were conscientious and did a great job.

Two very polite and friendly young men arrived on time. I told them what I wanted done and they immediately got to work. It was an extremely hot day and they never slowed down. I had weeds growing every where. They dug out old rose bushes and trimmed two dogwood trees and some lower branches on a magnolia tree. I had a little mulch and they were kind enough to spread that around the dogwood trees. They cleaned up and you would never know they had been here except for the fact that everything looked weed free. I had purchased a big deal and then paid for an hour and a half over. I am very happy with the work done. They went beyond my expectations. Will definitely hire again. Do not hesitate to use them.

It took a few days to get back to me. He was very personable and professional. They did a very good job and would use them again. The only problem was when he asked me where I lived, he thought it was too far from the business and hinted it might cost more. I told him that I paid $119.00, just what he asked. In the end, he accepted it, and all in all, it was a nice experience and my landscaping looks great.

The guys did a great job. Everything they did was as requested. We will use them again in the future.

Ground guy did a great job on a very hot day. I was very pleased with the shape of the hedge and the cleanup effort. He removed all the trimmings and used a blower to cleanup the area he worked in.

I purchased a special deal for $119 (1 man for 4 hrs.or 2 men for 2 hrs.). Two men arrived and did what I asked of them. They weeded the beds in the front and then cleaned up, pruned and weeded the beds in the back yard. I was very satisfied with their work.

I paid an extra $90 because I had a LOT of stuff to haul away (I bought one of Angie's deals). Ryan did an EXCELLENT job! The amount of work he got done in 4 hot hours was more than I could get done in 4 weekends. I am SO pleased with how my lawn looks and will definitely call Grounds Guys again.

These guys did a great job. Yard looks great!

This is a major update to my original less that glowing review of this service provider Ryan and his co-worker arrived as expected ... Both of them worked very hard for the entire time in spite of the temperature being in low to mid 90's that day... They did an excellent job on a large over grown backyard area.

They do a very good job using commercial equipment. The lawn always looks great. It's a great compeny.
