We were really happy to have him come over. We didn't even get estimates the second time, we just needed somebody we trusted, because the tree was big, and dangerously close to the house. He is competitive, because when we had the tornado, people were coming to us, and we had talked to 3 of them, and he was in the middle price wise, but he put the most comprehensive package. He is also very knowledgeable, so he helped us figure out which trees to keep and which not to. We were pleased with the expertise. He was knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. If I had other tree work, I wouldn't even look for another bid. His pricing is a good value. There are cheaper contractors, but for the kind of service, he provided more than just muscles, he brought expertise, and you have to pay for that. They cleaned up. We were trying to get the house on the market the second time, and he was out the next week, and he fit us in, and he came when he said he would come in. He had all of the things you want from a contractor, he gave us the bid in writing, and he didn't look for a million reasons to charge us more after the work was done.

Promptly received bid dated 10/26/13, originally scheduled for 11/6 but due to rain re-scheduled for next day, they did call and all was understood, overgrown redbud removed, was told stump removal would probably be next day (and it was), pin oak lightened to my satisfaction away from the house and broken limbs still tangled from Good Friday '11 storm all gone, crabapple in moon-shape condition from same storm, which took out one third of it, was rounded out, took it back quite a bit, but that was what I asked for. I think they did a terrific job. Nice guys. Good team.

From my first phone call to the final clean up my experience was exceptional. I have worked with many tree services over the years (and had some really bad experiences) but Mike and his crew are the best.

llExcellent work, showed up on time, completed to work as explained and removed all of the trimmings. We could not have been happier. Plus, due to his excellent work our next door neighbor also had him do the same kind of work for him and they were equally impressed with the work.

Mike came as scheduled and gave me a price. He was professional and prepared. Because the trees were so close to my house I was wary of who to hire for the job. I did obtain some other estimates; Mike's was not the lowest price I received, but he inspired the most confidence. Mike checked back with me a couple of days after he wrote up his estimate to see if I'd made a decision. It just felt like he was the man for the job, so I hired him. He and his crew showed up promptly the following week and were well under way with the job when I left for work. When I arrived home, the job was done, the trees were gone, and the other misc items we had discussed were taken care of as well. He even cut up and removed a fallen redbud that hadn't survived last year's drought. The area was clean and if the trees hadn't been gone, I wouldn't have known they'd been there. I couldn't have been more pleased with his work. Great job! I feel confident I'll use Mike and his crew again if the opportunity arises.

Mike's service was excellent. We live in Weldon Spring Mo and had Baumann Tree Service come and remove tree debris after the tornado on 6/3/2013. He also cleared out many dead and dying trees in our yard. He worked with his crew during the day Baumann was at our lot. He was knowledgeable about the trees, safely removed them without damage to the house and lawn. His price was very fair for the work he performed and was less than other bids I received. We did a lot of research before selecting a tree service to do this work for us. We looked at more than a few tree services in our vicinity on both Angie's List and another on-line rating service. Even though they are located more than an hour's drive from our home, we finally decided on Baumann Tree, LLC, based on their website (baumanntree.com), advertised skills and prior reviews. We couldn't have made a better decision! Mike and his crew (Chris, Jason and Daniel) deserve our highest praise for their tree work at our home! When they left, our house and yard was so clean you never would have realized they had been there. It was a pleasure to watch them go about their work. They performed like a well-oiled machine, and at a very reasonable cost to us. Thanks, guys!!

They did a great job. They were very friendly and cleaned up after themselves. They were very responsive and prompt. They returned my phone call right away and came out and gave me an estimate the next day. I liked that he didn't do anything without checking with me beforehand. He was very upfront with me and kept me informed. He was affordably priced as well.

I had an exceptional experience with him. He did wonderful work, and he was quite reasonable. He came on time. He did the work nicely, and the price was reasonable.
