The workmanship was excellent. The secret to doing business with these folks is: Don't let Tom do the walk-through and estimate by himself. He's a good and honest guy, but he tries to keep details in his head that are important - and it doesn't always work. This happened to us and several things we thought we were getting didn't make it to the work-list that his people use to perform the remodel. With that said, he worked with us in a fair and honest manner to add the forgotten items. He's not cheap by any means, but his workmanship and ethics are excellent. It's the old adage to some extent: You get what you pay for. I'd have Tom and his crew back in a heartbeat... but I'd want to have very careful documentation on the scope of work. Ask lots of questions beforehand to make sure they have a full understanding of what you want and everyone is on the same page.

The work was good. They gave me a quote and when they were done, it cost a whole lot more than they quoted. My roof was quoted at $12000 to do it because it was large and this was from the company that they subcontracted to come in and do it and they charged me $4000 more. I do want to stress that their work was very nice. If you have something that might need a really good professional, they are. But, you are going to pay for it and I think there are others that would do the same job that would actually stick to the bid they gave you. I am in the middle of the stuff that I had already paid for with them. It showed that I had a balance left and I even pulled out all the cheques because when something came in over what they did, I actually gave them the extra cheque at that point. I had a balance remaining with them and when I called them to come back knowing that the balance I had left would have finished what I had to do, they told me I had no balance left and they went and got their paperwork, which they could not prove it. I have the cheques and I have the bid sheet and everything and because we are small town and because I know them very well locally, I decided not be a butt about it and I am now finishing what they had enough money to finish and I have got other people doing the work here.

They did a wonderful job on our bathroom. They will be doing our roof and siding. I liked his willingness to accommodate our needs. His price was more reasonble than others.
