The project overall was horrific. The install itself was not professional mainly because the outer corners of the walls looked like an amateur did it. This tile was a very nice quality natural stone product that was not cheap in the least. It was very chipped on the edges after he cut the tile and intalled it. In the end, he failed to clean the tile of all the grout haze and construction dust before he proceeded to seal it with a petroleum based sealer. When he applied the sealer, he just basically threw it on the shower walls with a large brush and let it run down without wiping it off, which is what should've been done if he had known what he was doing. Then,when I called to complain about it, he came out with mineral spirits to try to remove it . When that did nothing, he proceeded to sand it off. It really scratched the tile and he sanded off any corner that was sticking up. When I could see that they were not capable of making it right without creating a disaster, I asked if he could pay for me to hire someone else to come in and fix it he would not comply. He really didn't care to make it right at all. His attitude was very arrogant and he just wanted the money. I would NEVER recommend Kurt Lindsey or his crew including Dick Schaefer for ANY job. They are incompetent and I have heard the same from others since.

They came in on a monday, and ripped out my old fiberglass shower. They installed backerboard and poured the shower bed (which doesent leak by the way). The next day they started installing the marble they ran it up half way & put the mosiacs in and they called in a day. The next day they finshed setting the rest of the marble and the final day it was grouted and completey done>
