Description of Work: My husband and I contacted this company to get a quote. Nick Yates, the plumber who gave me the quote, seemed nice and was very responsive. He wanted half of the money upfront to purchase materials as well as apply for the plumbing permits. We cut him a check and he said he would start the job the day after. A week went by and he said he was still waiting from the county for the permits. We called the county and they had no record of his company, his name or any permits filed on the house we needed work on. We then tried contacting him numerous times over the course of the week and he ignored our calls and never got back with us. My husband finally called him from a different number and he picked up immediately. He said he was in the hospital at that time. We told him we wanted our money back. It's been two weeks and he keeps giving us the run-around. We will be prosecuting this person.
