Above the Rest

The guys did a beautiful job. I am enjoying looking through my sparkling windows. Shawn and his guys were professional and friendly. I will use them again and recommend them to others.

Purchased the Angie's List deal. Someone from the company contacted us and we picked a date. They came as scheduled and cleaned the windows.

The appointment was rescheduled 2 times because his van had problems, but he did callpromptly to let me know that he would not make it each of those days. Three men cameto clean the inside and outside of the windows. They worked quickly, and the windowscleaned up nicely. I have only used a cleaning service for the outside in the past, soI had expected that when the inside was done that the inside pane would be removed and the windowscleaned in the middle (Pella) and also that the windows would be cranked out and the sashes thatare part of the window frame would be cleaned because that is how I do it. This was not the caseso don't expect that. The guys were all pleasant to work with.

I received a coupon from Angie's List for Above the Rest. I first called Shawn at Above the Rest to confirm he could do the job when I was available. He was responsive and said he could, so I bought the coupon and sent him an email to schedule. I hadn't heard from him in a few weeks, so I called and he was immediately responsive, explaining that he was backed up with so many jobs. We set up a date to schedule, but he wanted to come out on a weekday at 10 a.m., so I asked him if he had anything ealier. He offered to come out at 7 a.m., which worked for me. I called him the day before to confirm, and he answered the phone and said he'd be there with crew. Sure enough, he showed up on time with his very polite and efficient crew. They were done in about an hour to do 10 windows and a rear storm door.

Did a great job. Will remember them for next year.

Shawn arrived on time with 3 crew members and they started immediatey. Terrence was clearly the foreman and went back to look at all the work. If Terrence was not satisfied, we went back over the area himself to ensure it was perfect! They were very curteous and professional and cleaned up after themselves.

I have a number of large windows, some of which are very difficult to get to and clean (e.g., a glass-ceiling sunroom). "Above-the-Rest" did them all very well for a price I considered very reasonable. They were very responsive, punctual and pleasant to deal with. I will definitely use them again.

They cleaned all of the windows in our big three-story home. Some of the windows were very old and painted shut but they went out of their way to try to get every surface, inside and out and all of the storms. I recommend that if you have things near your windows that are special, move them to safety before the workers come. Shawn and his crew were very professional, enthusiastic and worked very well together. They solved problems well as they encountered them. I would both recommend them and hire them again.

The service arrived on the date promised and quickly got to work. They cleaned all windows, inside and out, including the storms, which I was not expecting. They were courteous, respectful of my house and conscientious. They checked back to see if there were any areas that needed more attention. This is the first time I have ever had my windows cleaned and it really does make the whole house look brighter and cleaner.

I called Above the Rest and talked to the owner, Shawn Ward. I told him what i needed he quoted me a price and we made an appointment for 10:30 on April 12. He, and his crew, arrived at the house right on time, actually probably a little early. Shawn introduced me to the men who were going to do the work, Terrence and another guy whose name I don't remember. He looked over the house and I asked if he could do a few other windows that I had missed in my counting. He explained to Terrence what was to be done and left to go to another job. Terrence and the other guy got right to work and did a fantastic job. Washed all the windows inside and out and cleand the sills. The put all the stoms and screens back in and actually repaide some of the runners that were bent, Before this we couldn't get a couple of screens, and, or, storms fully out. Shawn came back to help finish up. We talked a bit and I paid him. To say my wife and I wee pleased would be an understatement. I would recommend these guys to anyone who needed someone to do their windows. The price, even without the Angie discount was very reasonable. We definitely will call them back later in the year. On their business card I noticed they do deck staining, something we need. Above the Rest will now be the first ones I will call. Thank you Angie's List for getting us together!!!

They were really helpful. They did a good job and I would hire them again.

To date, the service has never been performed. It was originally scheduled for Dec 7th, and then I had requested that it get moved, due to some other maintenace work that I had already had scheduled on that date. It was scheduled for Dec, 10th, but that day was very cold, and the owner cancelled. After a few weeks passed with very above seasonal weather, I called to find out when the service was going to be performed. He told me that he was out of town, and would be back in a two weeks and would get out sometime soon after that. No one showed up, or has contacted me to rescheduled. I left another voice mail in mid January trying to find out when they woudl be out, seeing as how we were experiencing 50 degree weather. I have yet to hear back, and now we are back to our normal Febuary weather, so who knows when this service will get performed!

They did a wonderful job. The windows looked great, and once I cleaned the insides of the windows myself (a few days later), it almost looked as if there were no glass there at all! I plan to use them again in the Spring.

Came early as customer before me cancelled. Very fast but sloppy. Missed many spots on the windows. Made a mess of the sills and even after I told them about it, they did not do a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I ended up having to clean the sills between the windows from the splatters and drips from cleaning the windows. They said to remove all the spots of paint or dirt from the windows would cost extra.

The were hard workers from start to finish.

I called through a Angie's Deal - and they were extremely responsive and gracious and thorough - and cleaned my gutters well. They also added my garage gutter for $25 more - very reasonable. I would use them again

The owner and the worker he brought with him were very professional at all times. They showed up on time, did what they had to do and left my windows sparkling.

He is my favorite. He is very thorough. He has people that work for him, but he checks everything. He is definitely not one to let something slip away. I have used him before and I would use him again in the future.

SHAWN & HIS HELPER CAME ONTIME AND ONE DID THE OUTSIDE & ONE THE INSIDE THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN A TIMELY MANOR I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT

Shawn did a great job. He communicated well and was easy to reach. Shawn arrived on time and cleaned the windows quickly and efficiently. I'm looking forward to having him back next spring!

They were very quick, professional, friendly, and provided great results. Our windows look great, and they were absolutely filthy beforehand!!

The crew showed up right on time despite a very busy day. The crew went right to work and within one hour the entire house was done. The gutters were completely clean and the walkways beneath immaculate. This was a difficult job as the house is really tall. I would hire them again and would recommend them to anyone.

They were reasonably priced. They were very efficient and knew what they were doing. They were professional and were in and out, without any problems. They were very friendly and I will continue to use them in future.

I bought an Angie's list Big Deal from this provider, and then added to it to get all the very dirty windows and storms of my Victorian house washed. Shawn and his partner arrived on time and worked steadily. My windows were so clean when they finished that I got inspired to do some deep housecleaning. I would recommend them.

Shawn called me promptly after I submitted my information and scheduling was fairly easy. He arrived on time and began the work. There were a couple of extra windows and Shawn agreed to do them at a very reasonable price. Would definitely use again.
