The work performed was fine, but it took several callbacks to get them to do the work, which was several weeks after our scheduled date. While the work was being performed, the supervisor/owner spent most of his time on the phone, not paying attention to the work being performed. The workers themselves were polite and the work was fine enough. The owner did not upcharge us for the extra height of our house due to the extraordinarily long time it took to get them working.

Shawn coordinated the work & scheduling. It took a bit of back and forth to coordinate the day, I think they were really busy with the end of the season and the fact a lot of people were responding to the 'deal'. Most of the windows required a ladder as we have 3 stories. I'll admit, our windows were dirty and I knew it was a lot to ask for $89. The 'deal' was to clean up to 27 casement windows, inside and out so I figured with fewer windows and only asking them to clean the outside I'd get a super scrub/clean on what I had...knowing they were bad. Shawn and two others showed up to clean and they were quick...it was cold outside too as the work was performed around the end of October. The end result doesn't seem to be much of an improvement but Shawn was very nice about it and told me that was due to a residue (I think it was sealer from the masonry) and to really clean them he would have schedule a separate/different appointment and use something stronger, so more than just "washing". Overall, for washing and ladders and 89 bucks I guess I can't complain.

Above the Rest set up the appointment and came with 3 guys, they were very thorough and I don't think I have ever seen the windows look so clean. They were very flexible on trying to get to hard windows as we didn't have exactly 12 double hung and some that had glue on them from construction. They were respectful of the house and property. I would definitely use them again.

This is the second time we have used this company and again they were right on with everything. We have an older house with some triple track windows and some pull out windows. They arrived on time and went right to work, completed the job in about 1 1/2 hours. We had agreed on the price before hand because of the extra work with the number of windows. I will have this company again. The windows look great and now I'm truly able to see the signs of spring!

When I purchases the Angie's List deal, I did not understand that storm windows would be an extra charge. Once I read the fine print, I realized that was indeed the agreement, and the service went ahead as planned. The workers went fast - so fast that they missed a few windows which I had to point out the manager who came to review the work once it was complete. The quality of the cleaning was not perfect - ok, but not exceptional. The manager was rude to his workers in front of us, treating them a bit like children.

They arrived early, did the job well, were responsive to my requests. Overall an excellent experience.

Company came and performed the services on time and quickly

Very well. I bought the service as an Angie's List deal. Within a few days, the company contacted me to set up a date (proactively - I didn't have to do anything). They arrived and did the service while I was at work. When I got home, the gutters were clean and there was no mess around the house.

I was contacted by the provider given a date for service and asked to leave the 2nd floor surcharge check in mailbox. They did a good job and cleaned up thoroughly.

I was especially disappointed because I'd already paid for the services.

I assume because of the special deal of $99, it was very difficult to schedule an appointment. I had to wait for more than a month. And a couple rescheduling. Even though I was originally told I wouldn't have to be at home, I am glad I was. They wouldn't have been able to figure out where my hose connections were...

We talked about the cost over the phone before getting the deal ($99 for up to one hundred feet).. The crew of two came a week later and cleaned and flushed the gutters. We found we had a communication problem about the agreed price but we worked out a reasonable compromise.

Everything went well. I wish I could have been present to ask the workers questions about what they saw and the conditions of the gutters but I had to work that day at the last minute.

We took up a 'special' deal but when the contractor came to do the service the work was sub-standard and then the contractor started wanting to count every pane of glass inside and outside - so a patio door with a bottom and top window became 4 panes at a per pane cost. So the deal price moved to over 4 times what a normal clean would have cost.

I've never seen my windows so clean! They were scheduled to clean both my windows and my neighbor's windows on the same day but only completed my neighbor's windows and so had to reschedule mine. But the windows looked great once they got them done.

I purchased a Big Deal for gutter cleaning from Above the Rest. They responded promptly. They arrived and did the work while I was away from the house. The gutters seem clean and they didn't leave the debris behind on the ground or in the flower beds. I have a hard time evaluating anything beyond that as I did not meet them in person or witness the work.

A positive experience. They were careful of cream colored carpeting and removed screens and window grates to be able to access and clean the windows appropriately. I did not feel like I had to supervise the work - the windows were cleaned streak free in a professional manner.

It was excellent! They came when they said they would and were professional in demeanor. They really knew what they were doing.
