They were supposed come out originally in the fall. I had two different dates scheduled. One time he called and said he could not come because it was too cold and then later cancelled the other appointment. They said they would come in the spring but I have yet to hear from them. I am getting a refund for the deal through Angie’s List.

They were unable to do the size of windows that we have. He mentioned he would come back for a different estimate as we did get a refund for the Big Deal.

Shawn and team actually showed up early for their appointment. they were more than professional and courteous to the entire family. They took the time to carefully pad ladders on inside and outside of house. were very thorough on the job and didn't miss a spot. total job took about 2 hours for a 3 level house, 26 windows inside and out.

My experience was fine with them. Scheduling was fine. The foreman was very nice. I did not like the crew he had working for him, they were on the phone taking personal calls and having arguments on the other end. The work they did not take too long and the results are good.

I submitted a review for this service awhile back detailing my dissatisfaction with appointments being cancelled (though I was not notified of this until I asked for an explanation) until winter set in. Now, more than 5 months after purchasing a Big Deal for gutter cleaning I assume I have clean gutters. I assume because I'm not about to get up on a ladder to check. I can understand how this winter's terrible weather would delay things. HOWEVER.....if you're going to sell a Big Deal you should either have enough workers to get the jobs done in a timely manner or limit the number of deals you sell so, again, they can be completed in a timely manner.

Above the Rest arrived on time when scheduled. When the gentleman got up the ladders to our gutters, he looked and then said that our gutters were clean and didn't have anything in them to remove. It was a surprise to hear this, since we had never cleaned them, we don't have the special maintenance-free gutters (or had any problem), but we purchased the service, figuring they needed to be cleaned out before they became clogged. We took his word for it that there was nothing to clean. So he came down and waited to be picked up, and we didn't worry about the gutters anymore. | |This is probably not the most helpful review, as I really can't judge the work that was done, since it was just going up a ladder and coming back down. This was about two years ago, but Angie's has been messaging me repeatedly to write a review. I offer a B, since we have no complaints, but also cannot really evaluate fairly.

They arrived on time and after a walk through began their task. They were detailed oriented and cleaned the sills, windows, screens from both inside the home and outside. There was no mess left behind . I had 16 single hung window's and screens pluse 6 back porch window's and screens along with 3 basement windows. I will use then again for this spring cleaning without hesitation.

It was a bad job. The quality of work was poor.

The cleaning went well. They were on time, professional and did a good job. There was some scheduling confusion with my neighbor who also purchased services. Once we cleared that up, it went great.

Not. good. I never had my windows cleaned, and I had to clear my schedule twice for a service that never happened.

Above the Rest was fine. They came out, they were on time and did a good job. It's not like we really got up to the roof to look but they seemed to do a good job. They were very professional. I was perfectly satisfied with it. I thought the price was fine but there's always room for improvement no matter what.

Basically well, at least I think so. I did not leave the water on, and they were going to come back and flush the gutters. I don't know if they ever did. But it seemed fine.

Never showed when they had opportunity. Then got cold and everything froze over. I climbed up on a ladder and did the ones I could reach, removing ice. The high ones are now overflowing.

They even Google the house so they could see what equipment to bring.

The windows were clean enough but the company does not really clean screens. A worker came on time as I recall, but once the owner showed up to check on him, I felt the worker rushed to get finished. It was a Groupon and I am pretty sure that the ad said the the screens would be cleaned, but they weren't and the owner admitted that.

They did a good job. They could be a little more presentable. They complained that they weren't well received in the northern suburbs. They're all African American which on the north shore I can see why there would be a little apprehension. What they could do is, they could all dress the same instead of dressing in blue jeans and kind of clothes where they just don't care how they look. They might all just wear the same same polo shirt or something like that, so that they look a little more professional. I can see why somebody would go, "Oh! I don't think I like this band of people" In fact my neighbors even commented that, "Were these people supposed to be there?" and I'm like, "Yeah, yeah, they're supposed to be in here. It's okay" They all roll up in different cars and they just come of nowhere and all of a sudden they just attack your house. I told my neighbors they're supposed to be climbing all over it, but if they all had the same polo shirt, it didn't even have to say their brand name on it, but just if everybody had a blue polo shirt or something like that then they would look more professional. The job they did was pretty good. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. I would say that it was a job well done. There was only one person who spoke and he was pretty professional. The appearance of the rest of them wasn't professional. This is no reflection on the job itself but the rest of them didn't have much of an education and they were just doing the job because they knew whoever the head guy was, it was his business. He had just hired his friends to do the job. Now, window washing doesn't require all that much other than some supervision and to say, "Hey, put soap on this spot and make sure you get all the water off" which he did. I'm glad I found them but the appearance can turn somebody off. The equipment looks like crap, the van that they pull up looks like crap, it doesn't say anything on the side. It wouldn't matter what ethnicity they were, if they were Chinese they would look unprofessional.

There was an initial problem or confusion about date and time. But I talked to the company owner and that was straightened out and the gutters were cleaned.

It was fine. They cleaned all the rubbish.

My experience was fine and they were very pleasant to deal with. I thought the price was fair and they did job well. Scheduling was easy and it went fine. I think the gutters look good.

The service went good and bad. They came as they said they would on the date they said, they were here on time and they did a good job. It was the communications back and forth leading up to that was strange. They had to call and reschedule my appointment and I've had it all worked out. The only reason that they gave me is because they had other appointments lined up for that area. I had to wait an extra month to get the job done. The back and forth emailing was not so easy.

My experience with them was fine. The only thing was they had a hard time getting the screens back in and some of them fell out later. Other than that, it was fine.

This worked out great. I found great value in the work they did. The workers very nice to work with, professional, and got the work in a timely manner. Getting the appointment set up was very easy. They were great guys to work with and I would hire them again.

Above the Rest did a great job cleaning the gutters on my two story house which is a pretty big house with tall gutters, and they also did it in the cold snow at around freezing temperature (because I have a hot water spigot outside). I was not pleased and worried at first because I signed up for their service on Nov 1st, was then called to say it would be after Thanksgiving, then the weather pushed it out further. But they came out and got the job done well.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It wasn't so great. He tried but the windows didn't get that clean. He said that he would have to do something else in order to get them clean. I feel like I should have gotten clean windows, no matter what. He said they had baked on dirt and the only way to get it off was with some special cleaning thing. I spent all that money and my windows didn't really get that clean. He also had to cancel due to the weather but that can happen so I wouldn't downgrade him for that. I felt like he should have tried harder to get them clean. I didn't pay any additional for the deal.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and I had to call them back. They did come back and fixed whatever they had not done quite right the first time. I should not have had to call them back again. I did not see them; they just came and went. The only reason I knew they were here was because they left me an invoice. I went and checked the downspouts and said they did not do the downspouts. They were average. I think it would be helpful if the homeowner was home when these people came. That way I could check what they did right there.
