Above the Rest

I cannot understand how such a con artist with an imaginary company ever got on Angie's list. Now that Angie's list has failed me twice, it is time to not renew my membership. I need my money back.

I selected Above the Rest from a promotional coupon on Angies List. Shawn was very responsive with responding to my request and setting up an appointment. The two gentlemen (Darius and Brian) arrived on time and were extremely professional and did a fantastic job. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire process and service they provided. They were very respectful, cleaned around the windows and sill areas and made sure to clean up thoroughly. In tough areas they even scraped the windows to ensure they provided a thorough cleaning. I would definitely use them again and am very satisfied with the work.

Everything turned out well. The crew arrived on time, they were personable, and they did a good job. Furthermore, they left behind no messes.

I've had my windows done by a few companies, but this was the best experience. They were courteous, efficient and non-complaining. They ran a little late because of traffic, but Sean called to let me know. They parked in the alley and used the back entrance which means less noise from other unit owners. They completed the work in one hour. I had 8 double hung windows. Definitely would recommend this company to others.

Work was performed with minimum involvement with us, timely and efficiently. We will have them back again.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they did a good job. It ended up costing more than I expected because we have a lot of windows and I might not have read the fine print so well when I bought the thing. They were pretty responsive and I did not have a problem with their punctuality.

These young men were prompt. professional and did a phenomenal job. I will definitely use them again.

It did not go too well. Came about 2 hours late. After provider left I noticed that one window was not washed. I called the provider to let him know that one window was not washed he told me that he would return later on that day. He never returned. I was totally disappointed and I will never request services from this provider.

Three men came and did a great job on all my windows. Had to pay a little extra because of casement windows but well worth the price. Very happy with job.

We scheduled for the fall but because of the quick freeze they followed up and were finally able to clean the gutters in the spring. I appreciated the followup.

The crew was professional and thorough. They were careful with our items in the house and double checked their work to ensure the windows were clean. We plan to bring them back every Spring.

Bryan showed up early and had to wait for my wife to assist since I am disabled. He was clean, intelligent and knew how to handle difficult windows that had never been opened since their installment many, many, many years ago. He was meticulous, and almost made me cry when every window looked like it was open to the outside because it was so clear. It reminded me of when your car windshield gets cleaned at a hand car wash. He took his time and went over each window until there wasn't a speck anywhere on it; on both the storm and interior windows. The screens almost looked like they were see-through. After the terrible winter we had and all the rain, winds, and cold weather, "Above the Rest" had many delays and cancelations this year! We had 3 or 4 ourselves, but it was worth the wait. Monday afternoon, May 12, 2014 was the first decent day and Bryan (from "Above the Rest") came and took care of business. I will definitely call them in the future, recommend him to my mother, and all my neighbors. One of my favorite clichés is "when you experienced the best, forget about the rest, and call ABOVE THE REST!"

They contacted me to set-up an appointment, and then arrived on time the day of the appointment They went right to work, cleaned out all the gutters, and did an excellent job. They were very polite, did the job they said they would, and I was very pleased with the work they did. I highly recommend "Above The Rest".

The provide was almost impossible to contact, difficult to make an appointment with once he actually got back to me, and in the end never cleaned our windows! After several cancelled appointments (cancelled by the provider), they did come to one appointment that I had written down wrong in my appointment calendar. I apologized for not being at home. The provider never returned any of my calls again and still has my money!

The screens were removed, windows cleaned inside and out, including sills and surrounding areas. There was an air conditioner in one window and I told the cleaners to work around it and do the best they could. Instead, they removed the air conditioner and did a thorough job on the window. There was a team of two and a supervisor. All were polite and conscientious. I will use this company again.

They cleaned the windows inside and out and this was done fine.

We were extremely pleased with the job Shawn and his team did. Not only do our windows look fantastic but the work was done efficiently and at a reasonable cost. It was easy to arrange for this work for this window cleaning job, since Shawn always replied in a timely manner and once we exchanged cell phone numbers we were able to do this even more easily. I had arranged to leave work early so that he could start the job at 2PM. When I arrived home, Shawn and his crew were already at my home. He greeted me and then we scoped out the project to be done. The two men working with him were very professional and meticulous in the work they did, as was Shawn. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the outcome. In the windows without screens, it looks as though we do not even have glass there, since the windows are so clean. I highly recommend Shawn?s company, Above the Rest, for window cleaning. I imagine this will become a springtime and other time ritual, now that we have had such a positive experience with Above the Rest.

It was fine. The quality of the work wasn't the best. It kept raining and we had to reschedule at couple of times. It was hard to reschedule with them.

There were no issues with scheduling. They were very nice. It has been a while and I can’t exactly recall, but there was a very small issue. Everything was fine.

They were very good and I am going to call them back again. They sent 2 people out to do the job and the owner also came out. The workers were very friendly, and efficient. They were willing to do extra work without any complaints. They definitely won me as a customer.

Hosed down gutters to make sure they were flowing properly. Cleaned up around the house and took debris with them. Initially, the work was scheduled in the Fall, but due to the weather, we tentatively scheduled for early this year. We stayed in contact through Angie's List message center to reschedule a day and time.

They were fine. I did not spend anything more than the $99 of the big deal. Nothing about them stuck out.
