Above the Rest

The guys came. They were courteous, hard working and fast at the job.

After purchasing the Window Package deal through Angie's List, I got an automated response about being contact soon for service scheduling. Never heard from them again, so I emailed to set up a time. After some back and forth, an appointment day and time were established. The day and time arrives and goes, no one shows up. No email, no call. I emailed them again and they got back to me days later about being out of town for the week for a funeral. I have much sympathy for funerals, but I had seen in the reviews that this excuse was used over a month before for another Angie's list member. Didn't buy it. I couldn't believe I had to chase this company around. I got a refund on my purchase.

The service went okay but they did not do the best job. The corners of the windows were still a bit dirty. The owner came out and 1 technician actually did the work. He completed the job in about an hour or so. He cleaned about 8 windows. He was very nice, friendly and professional. He was good at cleaning up after himself. I only wish that he did a better job of cleaning the corners within each panel of the window. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Beautiful. The owner called, let me know with the nice weather he'd send someone out next week. I didn't even need to be home. My husband happened to be home while they worked and he stated they were very quick and thorough. He was very impressed. Would definitely use the again.

It went okay. We ran into some scheduling issues and my gutters ended up freezing, but they were very professional and polite when they did come out.

They did a nice job. They were good. They came in. They did what they said they were going to do. There was an extra charge but the price was not a big deal. They were very nice. There was no drama.

The crew arrived with advance telephone notification of exact time and upon arrival they got to it and did a superb job in a short amount of time. I recommend this company highly as I will use them in the future.

Bought Angie's list deal, scheduling was a bit of an issue but when the crew came out they were professional and did a great job, which made up for the difficulty scheduling. I do plan to use them again in the future.

Provider did not show up and did not call on scheduled day. actually, he did call, but my phone was off when he called. we have rescheduled for december 2. so we can't report on the service yet.

They sent out two guys for job. Everything was fine. There were no additional fees associated with the deal. I gave them a tip because they were very good though.

I bought a gutter cleaning deal on 11/4. By 11/10, I agreed with Above the Rest (ATR) through Angie's List messages that the could come out whenever they could, and we would leave a check for the $20 surcharge in an accessible location. Despite the fact that average temperatures were above freezing on four days (see http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/chicago-il/60608/november-weather/348308) ATR refused to perform the service, saying that it was too cold to do so. I finally called and convinced them to come out today (11/16), which they did, but refused to perform the work, citing concerns that water would freeze on their ladder rungs. The concerns cited today seem legitimate and ATR promised that they would come back later in the week when the temperatures increase, but I have no reason to believe this given that the temperatures that they refused to work in last week were higher than those we expect this week. I've purchased another gutter deal from ProTeam Works, which I have worked with in the past. I'm hoping that they are actually able to do the work, but I need Angie's List to please refund the $99 that I've already spent (and for which I've received no service).

The young man (Shawn) had told me I could reschedule for when the work being done on the outside of my building. When I called to reschedule, I left a message asking him to call back - he never did I

It was okay. There was a scheduling problem that we sorted out. They came pretty much on time. The cleaned the gutters, but were not able to advise about the condition of the gutters. Previous gutter cleaners did this.

They did what they were supposed to do.

Two guys, one inside and one outside. They were courteous and did a pretty good job. It was a little fast to be absolutely perfect, but for the price. it was perfect. They even got a tall ladder out when I asked them to do the third floor picture window. The only problem (not for me though) was one youngster wore pants that hung down to show his underwear. I don't mind young men's fashion, but keep it out of the workplace. I would definitely hire them again though.

We were very happy with the service. They came on time, did a thorough and professional job, and were easy and pleasant to deal with. The only reason for the "B" grade on responsiveness was because they didn't initially contact me within the 48-hour period promised by Angie's list. After that, they were very responsive. One note: We were charged an extra $15 for the attached garage, which was not a charge we were aware of at the time we purchased the service. I was fine with this as we have a big house, and the overall price was more than reasonable, even including the additional charge. I will definitely use this service again.

As they were in Chicago and I am in Portland, Oregon- they were not willing to come to clean my windows. They were apologetic, and as long as I had my money refunded, I'm happy! I also contact Angie's List who told me I would not have to write a review as nothing happened. I've been waiting for over a year to have this removed. I quite- so I'll write the review and give them the 'A' they deserve!

The workers were on time, professional and did a fine job. The reason I didn't give them a higher ranking is they used ladders that didn't have protection on the ends touching the house, which left silver scratches on the siding.

I was unable to get them to keep scheduled appointments. They would only contact me by email. The last time I called, the told me to call Angie's List and hung up on me.

They have never contacted me, so I decided to get a refund on the deal.

Fine. Tough to schedule but ulimately successful.

We have used this company before, and they always do a good job, but there is always scheduling issues. They are not very flexible. We will continue to use them though as their work is good.

These guys were great. A little rough around the edges but did a quality job at an awesome price. They were communicative and thorough. I bought a 2nd deal to use at another building (post construction) and just haven't been able to use it. Wanted to refund it so the value doesn't expire over the winter. Good company.
