Shawn and his crew did an excellent job. Will definitely use them again in the future.

The crew arrived on time. They were courteous and professional, completing the task promptly and very well.

Provider arrived on time, introduced himself and his associates and got to work immediately. Associates did the work from there. Windows are spot free. Rest of apartment was undisturbed. Associates got the job done in less than two hours. Worth every penny.

Unfortunately, because I misplaced the voucher the offer expired.

They arrived ontime, setup and completed job in a respectable time cleaned up, notified us of completion and said good bye

It was good. I had to contact Angie’s List because I had not heard from them. Then they contacted me. Once they got out here they did an excellent. Their prices was good.

Work was good. I overheard a little grumbling between workers, and it sounds as if they were putting in very long hours for little pay, considering how dangerous climbing on old houses can be.

It was good. No additional fees. They are very good. They were on time and did what I wanted them to do.

Appointment was not met as originally scheduled, but Shawn called in advance to reschedule, due to a conflict in his schedule, and was extremely professional and apologetic for the conflict. We were able to work out another day and his crew showed up on time and ready to get the job done. The two gentlemen were very pleasant and got right to work. The whole job took about 30 minutes. The crew cleaned up after themselves and left my property just as they found it. I would recommend Above the Rest to anyone needing their scope of work and would use them, again, if need be. Thank you to Shawn and his workers for making my first experience with Angie's List a great experience!

I purchased an Angies deal. The owner, Shawn, had a good response to the Angies deal so he had to schedule me way out, about two months out. That was fine with me, I just wanted the job done but it wasn't urgent. Shawn showed up at the tail end of the two hour window he gave me. He went over the work with me and then his worker. He left his worker to do the job. The work was done ok but not the best. The power washing was not done evenly and there are a lot of spots where there is still dirt and some spots that are really deeply clean. The sealant went on well. My deck looks a lot better now than it did. It was done within two hours and the price was right.

Cleaned and washed out all the gutters and did an excellent job. Arrive earlier than I expected but it went well anyway.

We had to reschedule our original appointment and they didn't show up on the day we rescheduled for, even though I had a confirmation email from them. I contacted them and they said the reason they didn't come was because of all the rain and they were behind schedule. I told them it would have been nice if they had called me. They didn't even bother to call. They just didn't show up. He apologized for not calling. They gave me a bad vibe to begin with. Their work was not thorough. There's still sections of our gutters that are blocked and it's only been two weeks. The guy in charge spent the whole time on his cell phone. At one point, he was sitting on my front porch, talking on his cell phone.

Super. On time. Polite. Hardwork for hardworkers.

They were here on time and they set up and they did the job but they left a mess. They cleaned up the gutters and whatever spilled over onto the side walk on my side of the building, but on my neighbor's side of the building, they kind of just left it there. I have ever green trees in front of my house so my gutters had a lot of needles and things and they just left it there, they didn't clean it up. I hadn't realized it until my daughter was outside with the hose trying to hose it down so I was not too happy with that.

Above The Rest offered a Deal on Angie's List to clean/stain a wood deck for $199. I waited (a little too long) and didn't contact them until the day after the offer expired. But they agreed to honor it (which was appreciated). My deck is a big larger than the $199 offered price was for and they agreed to charge $299. But they also said that I had to buy my own stain, to insure I liked the color... which was OK. I asked what brand they prefer. They said Behr. I bought 4 gallons of their premium stain/sealant (for about $140)... I figured it probably would need about 3 gallons, but since the deck hasn't been stained/treated in 5+ years, we thought it might need a little more. I also told Shawn that the deck had to be completed by July 4 (we started conversing on this on May 15)... I was told "no problem." With the weather as it's been here... rainy and cool... they had to cancel and reschedule a couple of times. All of that was fine, although I'm not sure why powerwashing can't be done if there's a chance of rain, but whatever. The 3 guys who came to clean the deck were all nice/pleasant. One of them was clearly the supervisor and was teaching/supervising the other two do some of the work. They did a good job of cleaning the deck... but not outstanding. Some of the spaces between the boards were still filled with gunk when they were done, but, overall, it was good. It was a little tougher getting them to come back and stain/seal the deck, due to the weather. But they finally got here on July 2 (remember I had given them a July 4 deadline). Shawn and 1 other guy did the work. The quality of the work was "OK"... they told me it should take a couple of hours to do. I thought, "Really? Just a couple of hours?" I said, "It's only going to take you a couple of hours to apply 2 coats?" (The label of the product they told me to purchase recommends applying 2 coats... it appeared this was the first time they were asked to do this and/or had never read the instructions on the can before.) So, after about 4-5 hours, they left, feeling they were done. Even though there were 2 of them here, it was typically only 1-1.5 of them working, as there was a lot of phone talking and other distractions going on. Of course, I didn't mind how long it took, but it was probably about 3-4 hours of work that took 5-6 hours to complete. After checking their work the next day, they missed several (small) areas and certainly didn't apply 2 coats. Shawn said they would be appling "1 heavy coat as they went along." Well, they only used 1.5 gallons of the 4 gallons I had purchased... there's no way they applied enough, based on the manufacturer's recommended use. So, now I will have to apply a 2nd coat myself (at least to the floor and top rails) later this season or next spring. (it's not a big deal, as I have plenty of stain left over and looked like it should only take an hour or so to do, but it's kind of the principle). So, I have mixed opinions about Above The Rest. They're very nice people and honored their promotional pricing and tried very hard to get the job done by my deadline. But their actual work was "good" vs. outstanding.

It was very difficult to get a response from this company to make arrangements for service.

Above the Rest performed gutter cleaning at my home. My raised ranch house is consideered a two-story so I needed to pay an additional $20 for the service. Their office scheduled them to work on a Sunday, which was ok with me, but that wasn't really necessary. IThe two men (Avery and Isaac?) went to work immediately and compleed the job in about 15 minutes and cleaned up the mess. They did a great job and were very professional. I just think that $120. for 15 minutes is a lot to pay. I would use them again.

A team of two came and looked the gutters around the house from ground level. They then went onto the roof and began cleaning all of the guck clogged up in the gutters. They hosed down the roof and made sure all gutters were clear. The job took a liitle over an hour.

I cannot describe how pleased I am. We had some scheduling issues due to excessive rain and my work schedule, but Above the Rest was extremely flexible and accommodating. The three gentlemen that came were polite, courteous, friendly and careful. I had the area around all the windows clear for them to work on the windows. They moved a couch and chair, and curtains and put everything back the way it was before they left. They had me do a 'walk around' to be sure I found everything satisfactory and then asked me multiple times if they missed anything. I found one area that needed redoing due to the sun shining in and making it difficult to see and they fixed it immediately until was to my liking. They hung the curtains back and moved the couch and chair back. They were respectful of my property and moved carefully so as not to damage anything. They were not rushed and they didn't once try to talk me into buying more services like other providers from Angies List does! They did my windows like they were their own. My windows are spotless! I HIGHLY recommend "Above the Rest" window washers ! For once a company is named for the quality of their service because they truly are ABOVE THE REST! I will be using them again. Cindy

Paid for the big deal late last summer, but due to me being in town only part time we had trouble setting up an appointment. Fall came and the weather got cold, Sean said we can wait and do in spring. I wrote through Angie's list to try to set something up and never heard back again.

HE DID NOT CALL AS PROMISED. WHEN I CALLED HIM HE PROMISED TO CALL ME BACK AND DID NOT. HE SENT ME AN E-MAIL WITH A NEW DATE. I RESPONDED THAT I DID NOT WANT TO WAIT UNTIL 7/9. HE DID NOT RESPOND TO ME. TODAY HE SENT AN EMAIL AND CANCELLED BECAUSE OF WEATHER. IT IS SUNNY AND WARM HERE. NO REASON TO CANCEL EXCEPT HE IS IRRESPONSIBLE.

After setting up a date for service and exchanging, the provider came through big time. My husband had surgery on both of his legs and is unable to climb the ladder to clean the gutter. My house is surrounded by trees and with al the raind we've been having, I had saplings growing in my gutters. In less than an hour, they's cleaned the mess and cleared the gutters of al debris. Will definitely give them a call to repeat the service in the fall after the leaves have all fallen.

I purchased the special offered on Angie's List. Very satisfied. Shawn and team were very nice and professional. I will use them again this fall after the leaves drop.
