Above the Rest

They were great. Arrived when they were supposed to, did a great job and I will use them again.

They did charge me an additional $20 for the second story gutters. I was quoted one price and after they got here, they wanted more money to do a job that was not adequately described to them to begin with. They didn't get around to coming until December. They showed up with some pretty poor equipment and ladders that should've been destroyed years ago. They need to get decent equipment and they could speed up their activities. When I clean the gutters myself, it takes me an hour and a half. They had two people here almost three hours and did a fair, but not a fantastic job cleaning the gutters. I don't think these guys had done much cleaning. One guy was afraid to go up on the ladders. It was probably intelligent for him not to because they were so unsafe.

Above the Rest (Shawn) scheduled during October, then rescheduled to Nov, then Dec, then lost contact. I asked for my money back from Angies' List and they said no money back past 30 days. So evidently they called Above the Rest and spoke to Shawn. He calls me and tells me no service until March or May to wash my condo windows. In the meantime, I've sold the condo and I'm out $100. Above the Rest won't refund me, Angie's List won't refund my money so I'm out $100. Last time I purchase from anything from Above the Rest or Angie's List.

Well. The owner, Kevin, was responsive and his two workers showed up as promised during a break in the weather in January. They cleaned the gutters and some very filthy windows. I would rehire them again.

No one contacted me. I had to cancel the service and my money was refunded. I hate to give an "F" but I have nothing else to go on other than the failure to respond to my purchase.

I had to cancel because he refused to complete the project in a timely manner.

It was cancelled because he lost his calendar and couldn't remember when it was scheduled. Then never responded when I asked if he was coming. I called angies list and asked for a refund Which was promptly done.

They completed work appropriately, I'm very satisfied. I would recommend them to your friends.

It was perfect. It was great. They came out within a couple of weeks. They were quick and efficient. There were no additional fees.

Contractor reached out once and then was completely unresponsive. He offered a day to do the job which was acceptable, and then disappeared.

Asked me give 3 date availability with purchase on Nov 14th. After 1 week, no one contacted me so I called on Saturday . Stated they were behind due to death in the family so I said could call me back on Monday. I had to call them back when I wasn't contacted and earliest available date from them Dec 5th. I was concerned about the lateness. I was contacted the day before to tell me obviously not able to perform yard cleanup as it snowed. Did offer to honor the deal in the spring ( or sooner weather permitting which it has not)

Fast and we'll done. Friendly answered all my questions.

It didn't go at all as after 3 months and 4 appointments no one ver came. Best yet is that Angie's List customer service now says the deal is only guaranteed for 30 days so they can't guarantee their big deal. Certainly won't be using this business again but also very disappointed in angles list for not backing up their big deal.

I did not get a response from service provider after I submitted (3) dates for the service to be done. I then called and was told that I was not in their schedule and was given a date for the services to be done . I was also told to send them an e-mail to remind them of the date and to give address and phone number. I waited for them to show up and nothing. No call or nothing as the date went and passed. These people do not have the decency to even called to excuse themselves. I would not recommend them at all.

Very well. They called when they were on their way because they were about 10 minutes late due to previous job.

My experience was excellent. The staff was pleasant, professional and did not waster any time completing the work. Checked out gutters and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I will contact Above the Rest again for gutter and deck cleaning next year. The cost matched the task to be done.

It did not. I cancelled due to lack of communication on the part of the contractor. Since I had scheduled the service over the weekend I called Shawn first thing Monday morning to work out a start date. He told me he was working on his scheduling as we spoke and that he would email me the date and time for the work to be done. I waited a week and received no email so I called back and left a message on his voicemail which I received no response to as well. I read a couple reviews on this contractor prior to booking and there was another complaint very similar to this. Above the Rest must be a million dollar company if they can continually ignore and treat customers this way.

Mr. Shawn owner of Above The Rest Window/Gutter Cleaning Service call and schedule my appointment right away. On 11/27/16 Lorenzo and Raynard arrived at the schedule time. They were very Professional. Lorenzo and Raynard performed the work of cleaning the gutters and downspouts to the house and garage. They were very efficient. I would definitely use them again. Owner has scheduling issues-due to arrive at 2 to wash windows, kept getting e-mails and calls changing the time because job he was on was bigger than anticipated. I ended up washing the screens and sills myself because I was off work and had moved furniture away from windows. Washers cleaned the inside of the windows first ??? it was getting dark and they proceeded to wash the outside in the dark-lost most of the clips that hold the casement window on the outside-looked for the clip, no where to be found-owner promised to send guys back to put clips in and is now changing the story-what a mess

It turned out fine. It took a little while because of the scheduling time. You need to make sure that you got an understanding on what was going to be done in advance and monitor it as they went along. I made sure that they did everything I expected them to do. There were a couple of things that I had to make sure that they did. The price is very good. The only thing was there was not a clear understanding on how many windows were going to be done. Fortunately, my number of windows came within the price. They said that I was just within the price of the number of windows but they didn't state an exact number of windows in the deal. I think it needs to be clarified ion the deal but the deal was a good deal. They did good quality work. We communicated by email and they were prompt in communicating by email.

It went great! Have used this group before. They are wonderful to work with.

After a couple of reschedules due to bad weather, Shawn and his crew came out and did a creditable job-- efficient and clean, no painting errors.
