Lightspeed Electrical

We had two minor electrical problems in our house - the kitchen ceiling fixture would flicker, go on and off, and I couldn't figure out if it was the LED fixture or the switch in the wall. I had the same issue with the porch light on our deck. I didn't know if it was the fixture, or the switch just inside the house. I called Lightspeed Electrical on Wednesday. The lady told me that they could have someone at my house on Friday morning, which is rather quick these days, and I set it up for Lightspeed Electrical to have a man at our house on Friday morning. Less than ten minutes later, Lightspeed Electrical called me back and said they had someone available to come look at the problem within the hour. Of course I agreed to that. The young man that came to check out the problems was kind, courteous, very professional, and thorough. He diagnosed the cause of both problems, then, as a courtesy, checked our breaker box as well. All of that was done in under an hour. The $89 fee that they charge for the first 45 minutes of a service call is more than fair. There were no other fees from them for us. I spent just under $90 later that day at Lowes for a new LED ceiling fixture for our kitchen, and a new wall switch for the deck porch light. I couldn't have diagnosed the problem without the help of Lightspeed Electrical. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LIGHTSPEED ELECTRICAL FOR ANY ELECTRICAL SERVICE YOU NEED. Their service is exceptional. It reminds me of how businesses were run when I was growing up in the 1960s and early 1970s. Customer first. Excellent communications. No nonsense. Thank you to Lightspeed Electrical for going above and beyond to help me diagnose the problem so that I could do the repairs myself.

The service man showed up on time, answered my questions about some other issues. The girl that I set the appointment with contacted me afterward to ask if I needed anything else.

The agent was very efficient and prompt. The work was professionally done. The biggest issue I have was the cost. IT seemed high but the fact I had to have romex may have been the reason. I was provided a cost before he started but you know how it is..not sure if it's right but he's there and ready to go so didn't have time to get another bid. If the cost is reasonable I would recommend them.

Provider installed GFI Outlets and inspected entire home. I was very impressed with the Tech that arrived promptly for my appointment. He introduced himself and was very personable. After the inspection he brought many items to my attention that had been overlooked by my previous inspector during our home purchasing process (much to my disappointment, but that's another review.) All the VIP issues were brought to my attention and additional safety issues. The Provider then quickly went to work on my original concerns (GFI Outlets). Within 24 hours I was provided with a formal proposal for the remaining safety and code issues. I currently have another date to complete our electrical needs and concerns with up to code service. The Tech was very informed and worked quickly. He left all areas of work clean. I would feel very comfortable recommending this company again.......more reviews on this company to come. My next appointment is July 21, 2014.

We had a mishap with a freezer and I called Light Speed Electric to come out and wire an outlet next to the freezer. Their technician showed up on time he was very polite and professional. He ascertained the situation gave us the cost of the work we were requesting to be done. The technician had almost completed the work when I realized that I wanted the outlet higher on the wall. I asked him to move the outlet higher on the wall and he did so without any commits or complaints. I am very impressed with their service and would recommend Light Speed Electric to anyone I know.

We called them out a second time to make some changes that we wanted to make. They did so promptly. Lightspeed was very professional for both visits but I am sure I could have gotten the same job done by a smaller independent contractor for less money, but that is why I trusted Angie's List.

They came out when they said they were coming out. I wasn't here when they were actually here working on the light, my husband was here. They came out pretty promptly. I really didn't compare the pricing it was not that bad I guess.

Craig was on time. Did a very nice job, even did some touch-up paint after he finished.

Based on Angie's List reviews, I called Lightspeed Electric about an issue with a dimmer switch that popped and blew out. I replaced the switch with the same result. I spoke to Stephanie to see if Lightspeed services the Cape Fair area. Normally they do not, but she spoke to me at great length about the issue and even put Joe, a master electrician, on the phone with me. After a lengthy discussion and describing in detail the scenario, it was determined there may be a short in the wiring. Since Lightspeed does not service the Cape Fair area, Stephanie gave me a referral to an electrician that does service the area. She also offered to schedule Lightspeed to perform the service for an increased service fee in the event I could not get another suitable electrician to make the call. After speaking to Stephanie and Joe, Lightspeed would be my first choice to do my electrical work if I lived within their service area. I called one of the referrals Stephanie gave me and they will be out today. Had that not worked out, I would definitely pay the additional service fee to have Lightspeed perform the work. Thank you Lightspeed for the awesome customer service even though you did not end up doing the job.

I called the company and they gave me a time they would be there and Craig was on time. He explaned everyting to us and did the work professinaly. I will use them again when I need any electrical service.

The job went very well. Craig told us what he was going to do from the start to finish, and kept us informed on his progress. He also left the kitchen clean and spotless.

We have hired them at least two times and have We are very happy with their professionalism and the quality of their work. On the first time they worked in our home, they stayed until they found the exact problem and was able to fix it, and that was a long time.

Perfect. Right on time. Had the part. Fixed the issue. This is a simple task which most do-it-yourselfers would attempt (including myself) however our house was built in the late 70's without any code adherence or inspections during the construction. We've found weird and sometimes dangerous wiring configurations and so whenever we need any electrical work done, we call an electrician or at least a handyman who has electrical experience. I've seen Lightspeed's trucks around town and they came up on a Google search. At first, we were going to install a new fixture but it turned out to be a dinosaur and not easily replaceable so we opted to just replace the ballast and be done with it.

A thorough check was made of light sensors & electrical switch boxes. He did a very good job. He came promptly, worked logically & efficiently.

jeremy davidson from lightspeed electrical services came today and did what two other individuals could not do. he installed a ceiling fan after two other attempts from other technicians failed. he did it in less than an hour. he was very professional. i was beginning to get very frustrated. i thought the expensive and beautiful ceiling fan was not going to benefit me at all, since no one else could complete my requests. i am now a very happy woman. the fan works beautifully. thank you, thank you, thank you jeremy from lightspeed. you've saved the day, i'm going to recommend lightspeed to everyone i know who needs electrical assistance. he is coming back next week to do some other electrical work for me.

Electrician (Jeremy) arrived as promised. Neat , polite,and presentable. He proceeded to make the needed repairs in a timely manner and was finished within an hour. I was very happy with the service. I had called just a few hours before to schedule and was very happy that I had a same day repair.
