Excellent! It only took him a few days. He is very trustworthy, I gave him the key to my place to finish the work. I would recommend him to anyone.

Overall I was very happy with Connolly and Sons. They worked at a pretty decent pace, were courteous and punctual, and did a pretty good job at paying attention to detail and requests. Just one exception to that, where I'm going to have to fix it one way or another. Because I ended up having to go in to work, they had to hurry to finish this area, and I'm not exactly thrilled about how it came out.

Wonderful experience as vendor was very professional, dependable and cost was reasonable. Vendor suggestions on design were appreciated and bathroom looks great.

Richard Connolly and son Preston, ie: Connolly and Son Tile and Marble, were absolutely wonderful! We hired them to lay our laminate floor which looks like tile, not wood. Altho I believe his specialty is tile and marble, they did an outstanding job installing our laminate flooring throughout our entire upstairs and it was all done in 2 days. We did not purchase our Swiftlock laminate through Richard but Richard gave us a better price for installation than the others I called. He also responded to my call faster than others and came out for the free estimate the next day. He started work as soon as I could get the material. He even picked up the material from the store and purchashed all the extras that I had forgotten about, like the transition pieces for doorways and the underlayment material. I simply reimbursed him and I didn't have to fool with going to get it! What fabulous service since we didn't purchase the material from him. My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased with their service. Richard even referred and called 2 other specialty workmen for other jobs I needed done and they both came right away, gave me estimates and I hired a welder to build my stairway railing, that Richard referred, on the spot. I will certainley hire Connolly and Son again as soon as we decide on flooring for our downstairs area. I feel that Richard is a valuable asset when it comes to knowing his trade, applying quality workmanship standards and ethics, and recognizing the same qualities in other tradesmen. I am proud to recommend him and I found him right here, on ANGIE'S LIST! I called Richard based on his 1 referral here. It was my fist visit to ANGIE'S LIST but I am a firm believer now! UPDATED JUNE 18, 2012: I have to take back my previous glowing review of Connolly & sons work. About 2 days after I wrote the review I noticed there was no finishing trim around the stairway opening. We also had a problem with 1 joint in the flooring. I called Richard and he said he had intended to pick up the trim and come back to finish but just hadn't got to it. He promised he would be here in a few days. Meanwhile the new railing was installed and when the installer snugged the post down to the floor, the weight of the post popped up a bubbled area. Richard failed to show so I called again. This has been going on for over 2 months. Either he calls early and then won't return my calls or he just ignores me. I finally got him to return my calls after tying up his phone all day. He again promised he would come out and we made arrangements. I had to go out of town a couple days for a funeral and I told him that I would call him the day of my return and I named the day. That was last week. I have called him often and he has not returned my calls. Not sure what to do besides camp outside his house or take out a billboard on 76hwy in Branson!!He may be good at what he does but you better check every detail before you pay him cause he won't come back to fix anything. Not what I call professional or honorable.

They came out and gave us an estimate - we agreed to the terms - the next day they started. It only took a couple of days to completely makeover that bathroom. I will be using them again for other rooms in my home.

As I stated in the previous box, the job was well done. Connolly & Sons Tile and Marble worked quickly, were very fair and cared greatly about the finished product. They wanted their work to reflect their ability and I can assure you it does so. The newly installed tile floor looks amazing!
