First, they ordered the window and I insisted on paying for it in advance, not waiting until all the work was accomplished.  When the window arrived,  we made an appointment and my husband took the vehicle in for the repair.  About two hours later, the window as installed.  However, it did not work properly.  The window is a power window and when closing it, the window would rise, slide into the top of the window and then bounce back down.  To get the window to close, you had to stop it before it bounced back down.
We were told that if the window "didn't fix itself," then bring it back in and they'd handle it.  This was from the owner's wife.  The following week, my husband took the car back in, but after spendiing two hours trying to fix it, the owner laughed and told my husband to take the car to the nearest dealership.  When I called later and asked them why they did not complete the installation, I was told "we install windows, we don't repair them."  When I suggested they should have told us this BEFORE the install, they replied it was my choice to bring the car to them.  He became increasingly rude and when yelled.
During these discussion I told them that I expected the window to be repaired, as promised, not simply "installed."  The owner then offered to pay for half the cost at the dealership, but quickly backed off this offer stating they'd "contribute" $25.00 to have the window function properly.
It cost $49.99 plus taxes to have the window repaired at the dealership and took less than half an hour.  Had I taken the car to the dealership in the first place, it would have cost me the same, without the additonal $49.99, and my husband would not have had to return for the repair.
