+ -1 moreIn November 2008, I inquired about having a storage cabinet built. Of the three cabinet makers I contacted, only Thoenen expressed a willingness to work with me prior to Spring 2009. Working from a sketch I had made and some general notion of what I wanted, Dan Thoenen designed a suitable cabinet. He patiently explained to me choices until we arrived at a final design. The cabinet was built in two pieces and installed in December 2008 by Dale Thoenen and a helper. The cabinet is both functional and attractive and I am very happy with it.
Description of Work: This is a family-run business consisting of a husband, wife, and two adult sons. I dealt with the sons: Dan, who specializes in design and construction, and Dale, who does the installation. They have a shop outside of Jefferson City, MO where the actual construction is done. The Thoenen company built me a large (10' x 6' x 2') custom storage cabinet with sliding doors to fit into an existing alcove in my house.
