Description of Work: Response from our call: technician was on our site within 15 minutes of promised time. Technician was thorough and explained the source of the problem. He solved the problem within 60 minutes We had called another HVAC company 4 times and they never did show up, so David's is the one we will keep for future services.

Not service oriented.
Description of Work: Failure to return a call within a timely manner. Even though yellow page advertisement indicates 24/7 service, did not get a callback until next day approximately 12 noon, saying "they missed a call." How do you "miss a call" and then return that call to the number asking for a callback. Maybe it is more like, "we were too busy," or "it wasn't convenient," but not a missed call.

I am David Alexander, I am the owner of the business. I was on call the Sunday she called in, I attempted 3 times to return her call that afternoon/evening but her call back number had a busy signal each time I called. I really dislike it when anyone in my company misses a call but unfortunately it does happen. I hope she received the service she needed and would like to offer a service call to her, free of charge if the problem arises in the future. Please note that if you call on the weekend, the office phone is forwarded to the Technician on call and if he fails to answer he may not be able to hear the phone because he may be working on a noisy unit. If you don't get a call back within 15 minutes pleases try to call again.

Still no response! The sign is on the office roof, but no one is ever there! We are NOT the only one's to try and get a hold of them.
Description of Work: We called this co. in our home town of Stockton where he opened another business a month or so prior and left a message on his phone. That was nine days ago and he never returned our call. We went to the building to talk to someone to give them another chance and there was no one there. Not a good way to open a new business in our small town. We try to shop local, but this kind of makes it hard. Won't call a third time! Janet C.

We sincerely apologize for missing your call, we really do pride ourselves in customer service and customer retention and we have absolutely no excuse for letting an opportunity to be your service provider fall through the cracks. You may have noticed an article in the local paper in which we talked about not having a full time person in our Stockton location but we are training that person now and we hope to have someone in the office soon, but until then we have transferred the phones to our main office in Bolivar. We are a small family owned and operated company since 2007, we are having some "growing pains" but over all we are confident that we are the best in customer service in our area. David and his crew arrived on time from Bolivar, Mo and began work early. They took out my old natural gas furnace and replaced with a new 96% efficient gas furnace. They took out my old air conditioner and freon lines and replaced with new ones. Both units are Bryants. He made a point to show me the new flouresant light he would install in the ducting to help with allergies I have by killing them before entering the rooms upstairs. I was very impressed with the work ethics of David and his workers. They went about doing their job in the heat as if it was'nt hot at all. They answered any questions I had and explained things to me in a way I could easily understand. By that afternoon we were enjoying the cool air once again. They made the whole experience better that what it could have been because of their work ethics, honesty and knowledge.
Description of Work: David's Heating and Cooling replaced my natural gas furnace and air conditioner unit.

Our a/c unit went out unexpectedly on July 10th,2012. The temperatures have been hovering in the middle to upper nineties. We phoned David that evening and he arrived the next morning to give an estimate and take measurements to make sure if we decided to go with him the unit would fit properly. After checking out his prices and products we found them to be top of the line and very affordable, so much that we decided to go ahead and change out our 20+ year furnace. David and his crew(Jeremy & Billy) arrived early that Friday morning and had it installed and running right after lunch. The new furnace & a/c unit look and run great! And I love the new bacteria killing fluorescent bulb placed in the ducting, which will kill the germs before they can make it upstairs. We loved working with this company because they were easy to work with. We were never "talked down" to because we didn't fully understand but instead "talked to" and shown the how's & why's. It was a great experience that could have very easily been a very bad one. I will surely call on David or one of his crew again.
Description of Work: The service's performed by David Alexander from David's Heating & Cooling were to remove existing a/c unit and natural gas furnace. To then install new a/c unit,new freon lines, new natural gas furnace, check existing ductwork and insure both units worked according to factory spec's.

On the original call, my unit was not working. As it was over 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside, it was starting to get very uncomfortable in the house. David actually came out himself and responded very quickly. He found that my unit had no Freon. He refilled it, checked for leaks and not finding any, moved on. About a month later, the symptoms returned again, so again I called and he sent out an associate. This time they checked for leaks again first. They detected a small leak but could not pinpoint it. David came back out to supervise then started running the diagnostics himself. He went above and beyond the call of duty when he was trying to diagnose the problem. This involved multiple trips, with differing diagnostic equipment. He did not want to give up on finding the issue because the company would not replace it until he found the exact leak. I did end up having to buy a new unit, but he made sure to balance price with efficiency so I would not be put out. my electric bill has now gone from $200 a month to about $100 a month. I cannot say enough about his integrity, professionalism, and fairness.
Description of Work: They performed in-depth diagnostics and eventually a full replacement of my whole HVAC system.
