CUSTOM LAND WORKS

It went fairly well considering that shortly after they started the weather got rainy, then cold, then snow. I am very pleased with the work that was done and the time that it was completed all things considered.

Jason came out to do a quote. I had researched so knew approximately what I wanted done. He included in his bid geo-grid and drainage, something a competitor had not. He gave me a price between $3500 and $4000. The cost was on the upper end because they took down a tree, removed an old metal and concrete furnace, and had to dig a bit more than anticipated. Jason had his worker remove about four rows of block and redo it because he didn't like how it was done the first time. The final work looks great and since it rained for 2 days after they finished I know the drainage is working properly too.

Had some issues with his email being blocked for spam and not even making it through our server, I use email extensively. The mailed copy helped get it to the insurance company which was the largest delay.

He is very conscientious and does excellent work.

We got 3 landscaping companies to give us bids last fall. None of the companys showed up for the job. After that experience I joined angies list and found Custom Land Works. Jason met me at my house on a Saturday morning, gave us a bid and a start date and we accepted his bid. HE SHOWED UP FOR THE JOB ON THE DAY HE SAID HE WOULD!! Jason and Shelby did great work - even in 100+ heat for the entire job. He did everything that was discussed in the bid, was great to work with and had great ideas for the wall. They left our yard completely cleaned up and ready for seed. Could not be happier with his work. Super nice to deal with and did everything he said he would and showed up everyday for the job. We needed our front yard rebuilt from the construction phase and nearly two years of neglect. We contacted multiple landscapers in the area and Jason not only responded promptly to our request for a quote, but followed through with great professionalism. During the time between our acceptance of his bid and the start of the job he kept us informed us of any delays due to weather and his anticipated start date. Once on site, the Custom Land Works crew took the time to clean the site thoroughly before reshaping the area for planting. They checked with us at every step to make sure we stayed on the same page with layout and plants. From start to finish, the job took approximately two weeks and we are very satisfied with the result. We have more projects on our property and will use Custom Land Works for all future jobs. We have found our landscapers.

I love what he is doing. He is very friendly. He tells me what he is doing to do as we go with it. We did not have a plan. I did not know what I wanted and he is giving ideas about what I thought I wanted and I actually did want.
