Went great! I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. They were fair in price, punctual, professional etc.

Chase was the main person I had contact with. He set a date for Zucca personnel to come out and make an estimate on my roof. He was very professional and Zucca personnel appeared at the appointed time and gave me and estimate. He assisted me in picking the correct shingles for my home I was kept informed on how things were going. My roof looks beautiful. Chase and his crew cleaned any mess which was made in replacing my shingles from the yard. I'm not a shingles expert but I believe THEY DID A GREAT JOB. I would deifnitely recommend Zucca to my friends I'm very satisified. The reason I gave some B's to the evaluation, was because I very seldon give all A's as that leaves an opening to any inprovement. I was very happy with their work.

The office staff and the person who came out to look at the building were extremely polite, helpful and knowledgeable. The estimator noticed a leak that been overlooked by the other company who came out. Although we have not been able to make the repair at this time, we were extremely pleased, and would have selected Zucca if we had been able to proceed.

They came out approx may 16th. My roof is leaking around the chimney. The guy said it would cost $400 but they were really busy and they couldn't do it until after the holiday and they would call me to set up an appointment. No call back, no appointment it's now June 3rd. I have not called them back because I feel like every time I call a repair man I have to chase them down and beg them to do the work and I'm sick of it. One of the big reasons I joined Angie's List was to avoid this.

Before the work was started: Zucca office staff was friendly and returned all calls in a timely manner. Written estimate was given. During the job: Everyone from Zucca showed up on time ready to get the job done. Work was explained to me in terms I could understand. The crew took the extra time to make sure pet gates stayed closed. After the work was finished: All my questions were answered and a minor request (not work related) was fulfilled. Overall: I will definitely use Zucca again - I'm planning on having my roof replaced. I gave a "B" on price because the final price had an increase of $200 dollars over the estimated price and a reduction of $50 because one aspect of the work could not be completed per the original estimate. I'm writing this review after 4 solid days of rain with NO sign of leaking - a much appreciated improvement.

They gave us an estimate of $800 for the vents, seal all pipes, and replace a few shingles. They cleaned up all debris afterwards. From what I can tell in so short of a time span, they did an excellent job. And, they were very honest about us not needing new roof which I was braced to hear ... Very pleasant surprise!!!

I had 3 bids on my roof before calling Zucca and 2 of those went pretty well, but I just didn't have a comfort level with them I looked some more and found Zucca on Angie's list and gave them call. When I called their office, Chase Roscher answered and it turned out that he would be my go to person for this job. Working with Chase gave me the comfort level I was looking for. He took the time to answer any and all questions I had. He explained things and showed me just what would be done for my job. Whenever I called him he would answer his phone and ask me what I needed. I have to say that Chase is the reason I chose Zucca to do my roof. His crew had my roof done in one day and it looks great!! They did everything they said they would do and did an excellent job of cleaning up. Chase came by the day after the crew was finished and inspected their work to see if they missed anything. Wyatt Zucca was our representative. He always returned calls promptly, was very personable, friendly, and also professional. He is busy, but he fit us in at a time that worked for the property owner. He showed up when he said he would to give the bid, and was easy to work with. His bid was as detailed, or more detailed, than the others we got on this job. The price of his bid was second to the lowest (of 4), I think, but his seemed to be the most professional of the four organizations. We hired him. His firm did the work, and did it very well. After starting, he encountered numerous "hidden" problems, lurking inside the sealed roof of the old building (i.e., old building / new owner). He explained how those new issues might cause the job to take somewhat longer, and involve many more hours than originally expected. (We're not roofers, but we're sophisticated enough, and we ask enough questions, to know whether a contract is exagerating, or making excuses. He was not - it was all valid, indeed was unexpected, and he explained very well what our alternatives were, which he recommended, etc.) We decided to renegotiate and pay him slightly more to do a considerably larger job, now that we each knew what was under the "old" membrane roof. In short, he was very fair with us, regarding terms and price, once we discovered those "hidden" problems. End Result: our new roof looks fantastic, and no longer leaks. We understand enough about the physical steps involved, and about what is now inside our roof, that we feel very good about how long we should expect before having any further roof problems. Overall Assessment: I would recommend Wyatt and Zucca Roofing to anyone, especially on commercial buildings or flat membrane roofs, which are far more difficult for most roofing firms to work on competently. His can handle it. He is fully endorsed by this AL member.

We are very pleased with the new roof. The workers were prompt, quiet and very professional. They made sure to clean up all of the nails and debris before leaving. I am a gardener and all of my plants were spared, which was amazing considering the the number of workers involved and the amount of plants I have around the perimeter of my house. We had to call them back to straighten out our chimney, which ended up a little crooked and to flatten one of the shingles that was raised a little, which they quickly took care of. But otherwise, everything went fine. We had this company replace the roofing on our dormer a few years ago and as usual, their work was done quickly and the rates are always reasonable. I love this company! They are very efficient and the rates are amazing! The only snag was the $300 coupon offered through your website. First, I was told by the roofing company that it could not be honored because of their already low rates. Then, I was told that the coupon should have been presented prior to the estimate. I think that the coupon offer is misleading and that some changes need to be made.

They came quickly and inspected the roof. They said it did not need replacing and wrote and estimate of the cost if I later needed a replacement. They included an estimate for the insurance company of the probable life still in the roof. These people could not have been more helpful. and I greatly appreciate their help.

I interviewed four roofing companies carefully chosen from Angie's List. After lengthy conversations with each, it was clear that Zucca Roofing was the right one for me. From start to finish of the project, it was confirmed that I had made a wonderful choice. Wyatt Zucca gave personal attention to the job, patiently enduring my long lists of questions in my quest to try to know absolutely everything I could about roofing before the project began. His production manger Chase Roscher was attentive, present, and equally responsive throughout the roofing process and subsequent coordination of the guttering replacement work. Office personnel were gracious and attentive to all the necessary details. The roofing team was timely, diligent, efficient, and careful, working in the worst of summer heat. They built a beautiful roof. I could not be more pleased and highly recommend this company. It is important to me to note that in conversation with the team, I learned not only of Wyatt Zucca's care and concern for his employees throughout the year but that he also does mission service work in other countries to build homes for those in need. This clearly speaks of him personally but also of the obvious imprint it has on his company.

I called Zucca Roofing after finding several pieces of cedar shakes off my older roof. The company quoted me a minimum price prior to coming out and I agreed, with the understanding thst if repairs would be more than $250, they would contact me with that information prior to completing repairs They came out as promised and called me ahead of time as I requested. Their price ended up being in the range they estimated. I was satisfied with this business transaction They billed me after repairs were complete.

We had a great experience with Zucca roofing. They provided a no cost/no pressure estimate to replace our roof and gave an honest assessment regarding the current condition of the roof. Everything went smooth on the day of the job. They delivered all of the materials on time and the crew showed up and finished the job as expected. I needed them to install some additional roof vents and they worked with me to get those installed properly. I had a few questions during the job as well and a crew lead was available to help answer my questions. Overall, we had a good experience with Zucca and would recommend their services.

They did a great job. They did a few houses in my neighborhood that looked great also. They were very professional and intelligent.

We attempted to receive an estimate from Zucca Roofing this fall (2011) twice. First, requesting an appointment Via a phone call to one of the Female owners and a follow-up call from the estimator were promised a day to meet with us for a roofing estimate. Twice, they failed to appear on the scheduled day and both timeswe did not receive a courtesy call regarding their failure to show up. We had to call them back to ask what happened. We would have been moderately understanding if call(s) were made to us, simply because sometimes "Things happen". The weather was fine on both appointment days, so that was not an issue. Customer service will make or break you in this or any economy and keeping in touch with potential customers does not appear to be Zucca's strong suite. We have elected to go with another company that kept it's appointment promises and were prompt with return calls and answering questions.

I received a return call Monday morning from the message I left on Friday evening. The woman was very professional and friendly. She sent someone out right away to estimate the job. When they got back to me with the estimate, I was told that the pitch of the roof overhang above the garage door would have to be changed to get the proper angle in order for them to guarantee this part of the roof. Also, I was gonig to have to have roof vents put in. The job estimated to be around $5,000. This, for a 1200 sf structure with a simple a-frame roof line. My other estimates were coming in around $4,000. The other estimates were including the roof vents, but not the change in pitch on the garage overhang. I liked the idea of working with the company as they seemed very professional, friendly, and thorough. I also liked that it was a family business including daughters along with sons. However, in the end, I couldn't go with the higher price.

Their price was right at what our insurance paid us. I got bids from four different roofers but their customer service is what really persuaded us. I felt like I could trust them. I looked them up on Angie’s List and I know they are local; I really did my research. They started the job on the Thursday before the Fourth of July and didn’t finish until the following Wednesday. I wasn’t really happy about it dragging out that long, but I understand there was a holiday weekend. I would have postponed the job if I had known. They did a very good job cleaning up and they took the dumpster out of my driveway for the weekend.

My sky light and the flashing around it was damaged by a hail storm and needs replacement, per my insurance adjuster. Therefore, I would assume that Mr. Zucca had to have done some inspecting of the sky light while I was completely naked under it. The fact that a company would get on my roof without my permission and then, further, claim that they had done nothing wrong is beyond my comprehension. This company has very questionable practices. It should be noted that, out of all of the roofing companies I contacted to get an estimate, Zucca Roofing is the only one who went up on my roof without ever contacting me first.

.They did the roofing in one day, not all my house had to be re-roofed, just parts of it. They still had to seal the roof. They did all that in one day. They were fine and they cleaned up everything. I did not have any problem after that nor did they have to come back either.. Price wise I got three bids and they were the lowest. I will use them in the future in case I need them

It went well. They were punctual and timely in their response. Their estimate was competitive with other bids. I went with another contractor that I had worked with before. I would not hesitate to consider Zucca in the future. They were professional.

When we contacted Zucca Daughters and Sons Roofing in November, 2010 it took about 2 weeks for a representative from their company to come and give us an estimate. We felt this was done in a timely manner considering a major hail storm had hit our Independence Missouri area in late October. We were pleased with Tad Choate and his knowledge of the roofing products, the concerns we had with our roof and his professionalism. The day we signed our contract we set up a date in late March,2011 for our roof to be replaced. Unfortunately February 26 we still had ice on our roof and a heavy rainstorm happened which resulted in the rain to backflow and found a way through the damage roof and enter into our home. I called Zucca the next morning and they sent out someone to take a look at the roof for possible tarping. He was able to caulk the area at no extra charge and then moved up our date for the roof replacement. The roofers arrived at our home at 7:45am and were completely finished at 4:15pm. I was amazed to watch 7 men working diligently on the roof, only stopping for a short lunch. They covered my shrubbery, cleaned out the gutters, cleaned all the mess from around the house including our patio, front yard and driveway. There was nothing left around to indicate we had a new roof put on. We were extremely pleased. This company knows the meaning of Customer Service. I have since referred Zucca Daughters and Sons Roofing to several friends and sent a letter to the company thanking them for the great service.

They were very responsive and conducted the work in a reasonable time period. Only concern, they added roof vents, cutting holes in the roof, and we didn't want them. Not a major issue, but wasn't requested.
