They showed up on time for the quote. Provided an excellent price and showed up on time for the installation. I am very happy with the installation. The floor looks amazing. It was also VERY CLEAR they were concerned about using the wood efficiently which is fantastic because it was approx $5 a square foot. There was very very little waste and I am very pleased with the service. Rob and Bob were also very pleasant and cleaned up when they were done better than I probably would've. I highly recommend the Hardwood Floor Guys.

Robert and Bobby arrived, took measurements of the rooms, and gave me a quote right then. After talking with my husband, we called and gave them the go-ahead. Then they called back and asked if they could start a week early because another job had gotten pushed back - SWEET!! They arrived as planned and got down to business. Of course, after they sanded the floor back to its original beautiful color, my husband and I saw the nasty quarter round (base shoe) in several spots. When we mentioned it, Bobby told us they already had a plan for cleaning them as well. They had to add an extra day to the job, simply because we could not get the refrigerator out of the kitchen and had to work around it. They were absolutely great to work with, always cheerful, always up-front and honest, always on time. We will have them back to do the rest of the house as soon as I get over the trauma of living without my favorite room!! And can I just add that my favorite room just became my favorite, favorite room! The floors look spectacular!

Robert and Bobby came to the house on a Monday and showed us what they would do, told us about how long they would be there. They were happy to see that the floors were in good shape for their age. I opened and closed the house each day for them. The second morning, I came in and saw how beautiful the floors were after the first rough sanding. Robert seemed excited with t;he floors and the quality of the wood. He was a craftsman beaming at his product. His enthusiasm about the floors and how they would turn out was amazing. I could tell that he and Bobby were of the and quot;old school;and quot; - people who are proud of their work, people who take time to do things right. My daughter picked out the stain, and Robert and Bobby put the stain on that day. The next two days, two coats of poly were applied, sanding in between each coat. The last day the finish sealer was applied. The end results were more than we had anticipated.

Robert and his assistant came on the date promised and finished in the time promised. They were very attentive to any request or question we asked. They did a great job with the detailed hand work around the perimeter of the floors that some companies can get a little sloppy on. The floors look like new and we couldn't be happier with their work. We would definitely use them again.

These guys really know what they're doing. My hardwood floor had a lot of pieces missing or damaged. One experienced contractor who saw the job didn't even want to attempt it, he wanted to lay new floor over it. But Robert was willing to take on the challenge of fixing and refinishing the existing floor, and his bid was less than what a new hardwood floor would have cost. He and his son Bobby navigated the inherent difficulties of this job with a calm and open attitude, and even went above and beyond what I'd expected, to make this floor really nice. I'm thrilled with the results, and will hire them again.
