All I can say is that they did the job

Called to have my lot surveyed. Gave my specific location and ask "is this something you would be interested in?"  His answer was "I guess."   I was told they would need to do some research first on my lot to get details.  Said they would call me back in a couple of days.  After one week and no call, I called back to ask if any progress had been made.  He told me that he would call me back that afternoon with some information. Two days later I called to ask what the status was.  He told me that he couldn't find any information and suggested I call another surveyor. 

This business desperately needs to hire someone to take phone calls as this guy has the personality of slug and as mentioned, he does not do what he says he will do.  A complete waste of 10 days and now I will have to find another surveyor.  A horrible experience with Region Survey.

I first contacted Region Land Survey in mid April after checking with Angie's List for a good company and saw they had an and quot;Aand quot; rating. My first conversation with them they said they were very back logged and it would probably be mid May before they could get to my survey. I said that was fine and expected a call around the 12-15th of May to confirm the appointment. The price seemed fare and the wait time also seemed reasonable for spring and I wasn't in a hurry. Well the scheduled time came and went so I called back and got another apology and they said they were still backed up and that they would definitely have my survey done before the end of the month. They explained they were training another employee to take up some of the overload since they were busy with their and quot;regularand quot; customers. They were very polite and seemed sincere with the apology so I decided to be patient when asked if I would prefer to cancel my work order and use another vendor. I agreed to wait for the end of the month because if I cancelled now I'd go to the end of the list with another company and potentially wait even longer. No one had called or showed up to perform services by May 30, another missed deadline. I called and left another message on 6/2 asking if they were going to honor their commitment, but haven't heard back. June 3, still no answer. June 4, left another message. June 5, still no reply, tried to leave another message but their mail box was full. Would not recommend this company for any services.

We had initially requested a site survey, and discussed an initial date one week after the first contact. After a week and a half, I called to follow-up about confirming the date of the survey, which was then pushed out another week (to 3 weeks after initial contact). That was acceptable to us and I had asked specifically to keep us informed if this new date could not be met. After another two more weeks, I followed up again to and was told they were busy and they would get to the survey when they could, with a third date in mind. After the third date had passed (over a month after the initial contact), I called and cancelled the survey.



There were no services performed, but I have given a low rating based on the lack of responsiveness and accountability. I would not recommend the services of this company.

I liked their services. They did the work well. They were professional and punctual.
