Monte is excellent at his craft and a true professional. He shows up early every day to work and is pleasant and courteous. He treated our home like it was his own and was very thorough at protecting our floors and home and cleaning every day before he left. Monte also does superb tile work and explains the process up front as well as cost. He even did some drywall repair in our guest bath that had been poorly done by a previous contractor. He was booked out way in advance but well worth the wait! He stayed in contact with us during the wait and let us know as soon as he became available. We will definitely be contacting M & M Tile in the future for all of our tile needs.

We contacted Monte at M&M Tile to get a bid on tiling our laundry room and foyer. We already had the tile so when Monte came he knew what it was that he was bidding and/or installing (travertine stone). Monte arrived at all appts on time and was very prompt in emailing the bid. We did get another bid and Monte?s was a little higher but we were impressed with his professionalism and knowledge (we also asked him to bid our master bathroom which is another project to start in a few weeks). We also appreciated how the bid was laid out with detail on each project (especially the master bathroom). Though our original project was the laundry room and the foyer an afterthought, Monte thought that he could whip out the foyer quickly so we scheduled it first. Monte got right to work as we discussed the pattern/layout of the tile. Since we are really novice at re-modeling we looked to Monte to answer our questions. He always does a thorough job of it and always makes sure that both of us are on the same page. We had tile in the foyer and the bid included removing the tile and installation of the new. When Monte got into the demolition he realized that the original tile was installed very well and was much more difficult than anticipated to remove. It wasn?t long after he started that Monte realized that the fine dust of removing the grout/tile was going everywhere so he decided he needed to put up a barrier to minimize the mess. This was greatly appreciated! Though the demolition took longer than anticipated Monte worked all day to get that done and the tile laid and of course, came back the next day to grout (and I believe it was a Saturday too)! Thankfully, the laundry room was not as big a mess as the foyer as it had linoleum. Monte got the laundry room done in a day and again came back the next day to grout and he also cut and installed the base molding and door moldings (wasn?t in the original bid), which my husband greatly appreciated! We are so happy with our choice in the tile and in choosing Monte as our tile contractor. As I mentioned, we are gearing up to start our next project and have 1 or 2 others in mind down the road him. Monte has been very helpful in answering our questions, taking his time to understand what we are looking for and making suggestions where appropriate. We also appreciate Monte?s quick response to us and continued contact to keep in touch during and in-between our projects. We would highly recommend Monte at M&M Tile; professional, knowledgeable and takes a lot of pride in his work and the details to make his customers happy?and an all-round great guy ta-boot!

I can't say enough nice things about Monte's work ethic and close attention to detail. This project was my mom's bathroom in her south Kansas City home. My mom wanted an elaborate border in her tub surround using different sizes of subway tiles. Monte was up to the challenge and his professional expertise made my mom's bathroom beautiful. Monte was very punctual and considerate. His pricing is very fair. Monte takes pride in his work and it shows.

Very professional and friendly from start to finish. The work performed was high quality with attention to detail. Monte laid down sheets throughout the house so that dust and dirt wouldn't affect the finish of the hardwoods, and always cleaned everything up nicely at night. He's very knowledgeable about his trade and offered some great tips on how to improve other areas of the bathroom, which we were doing ourselves. He worked quickly, was always in communication about the status of the project, and made sure we were happy before he left.

When Monte arrived to give me an estimate I found him to be both friendly and professional. His estimate was very competitive which I was happy with. I knew right away he was my tile guy. I would not hesitate to use Monte again. Should you ever need of tile work I highly recommend Monte you will not be disappointed.

Monte was awesome. He tiled our sink area and shower area in our master bedroom and completely tiled our whole shower. He always showed up right when he said he would and even finished up on a Saturday so he didn't have to extend the job into the next week. It looks great and he always cleaned up the job, etc. I would highly recommend him and we plan on contacting him again when we decide to have some more work done.

Monty did an amazing job. We used tile that looks like hardwood floor when paired with dark brown grout. He got all the tiles even so it feels completely smooth when you walk across it in bare feet, and made the cuts so it looks great even where the tile meets the wall. He also fashioned a transition made of the same tile to use where the main bathroom runs into the water closet. He was very responsive and friendly - the job took 3 days or so and after working with Monty for the first few days (that fell over a weekend) we felt comfortable letting him finish the last day while we were at work. Would definitely hire him again and give him a full recommendation.

Went fine. He showed up on time, was neat (he even put down tarps as a pathway through the house to the bathroom) and efficient. We are very pleased with his work.

Monte has tiled two bathrooms for us. He has doe and excellent job. He makes good suggestions, is very flexible and easy to work with. He is very conscientious, is careful not to make a mess and cleans up after he is done.

Our son was unable to complete the installation of our floor tile being called on to work 7 days a week along with his upcoming wedding. We were a week away from all of the out of town wedding guest arriving, so we accepted the fact that the flooring would not be completed. Just to get the ball rolling for after the wedding and holiday season, I called M & M Tile to get a bid. Monte was early to our appointment, quickly accessed the scope of work while we had a pleasant conversation, including our Son's wedding. Monte offered up there was a chance he may be able to get the job done in one week, if he could juggle some things. To sum it up, Monte pulled off a miracle by working a long day on Sunday and numerous afternoons to complete our job. On the day of our guest arriving I was able to do last minute touch up painting, move all of the furniture in place, and hang pictures. We are super happy with the quality job M & M Tile did for us and grateful for making it happen in time for our special guest. My wife and I highly recommend using them.

Monte came to my home to view the project and provided me with an estimate very quickly. He was at my house every day of the project no later that 8 o'clock and worked steady all day. He asked my opinion to be sure I got what I wanted but also gave me the advise I needed to make some of the decisions. He was very pleasant and always cleaned up his work at the end of the day. He even came by on Sunday to put up shower facet brackets to be sure they were up for the plumber on Monday morning. I was very pleased with his services. My shower looks beautiful! I would recommend his services.

Recommended tile source that passed on discount. Did a very professional installation which involved four trips.

Monte is very experienced and top-shelf. We feel his pricing was more than fair. He provided all materials in his bid except for the tile and he picked up the tile from the store where we purchased it. Our floors look GREAT! The transitions into each room look perfect. We chose 6" X 18" wood grain ceramic tile and he coached us on deciding the best direction for the grain pattern. He brought in another helper to get the job done in as short a time as possible. Once they began laying the tile, they laid portions each day so that we could still gain access to bed and bathrooms. When the job was completed, he came back a couple of times to take care of a couple of small items without hesitation. Monte is very handy and offered to fix a couple of other unrelated items while he was there anyway and we took him up on it. He is our tile guy going forward. We did find him on Angie's List.

Was on time to the minute each time. Was very neat and put down protection on floor. We changed our mind on design and he helped us with that.. Did a fine job and would highly recommend him to anyone .

In today's world it is difficult to find honest contractor's. But you will find it in this company! He explains the different option's you have for each bid . Also tries to help homeowner's save money. Which is a rare find in these times. And last but not least, the results are GREAT!!!!!

Monte was the best contractor that we have ever worked with! From the beginning and through each step of the way he was prompt, polite, and professional. After initially contacting him, he completed our bid and the work in less then 2 weeks. Monte did an awesome job on our guest bathroom tile and have already received numerous compliments on how great it looks. I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again in a heartbeat.

Monte did an excellent job. He was very professional and personable. He told us the type of tile to buy and where we could get the best deal. He was very punctual and advised us about old pipe and a showerhead that broke. He coordinated with a good plumber to get all the plumbing necessary redone. The tile looks great and I highly recommend Monte. He unscrewed a covering so the plumber could look for a leak in another location. He even cleaned up our tub!

Monte was great... professional and dependable. We both worked around our schedules to get it done. He finished tiling a shower that I where I had done the floor tile. I didn't trust my skill in doing the wall tile. Monte did the walls, put a seat and 2 soap dishes in.. It is beautiful. Really H&G stuff. Quality of the work is excellent. Wish I could post a pic of it. He also did some prep work on the walls to fix some level issues. I would use Monte again in a heartbeat.

Monte Stuart was wonderful to work with. He is extremely professional. Provided us with a bid that was very reasonable. He scheduled the work to begin at a convenient time for us. We had some glitches-like a broken drain pipe-and Monte worked to get that issue resolved at a significantly lower price than what a plumber quoted us. He takes pride in his work and it shows in our finished product, which is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely use M & M Tile Service again-we already have bids for two other projects.
