HOLLIDAY CONCRETE

They showed up on time and we are very satisfied with our patio.

The concrete was fine. They did a good job with what our project asked of them. Our biggest concern was them not hurting our retaining wall that was in place and they were able to work around it. But the customer service was not what I expected. While they were initially responsive and seemed helpful, it ended up making more work for us. Their team left garbage and piles of dirt concrete in our yard. We let them know and they came and cleaned up the some concrete piles but left their garbage including an empty cigarette pack in our yard. I let them know they did not clean everything up and they stopped replying to me. My husband had to spend a couple of hours the following weekend moving the excess dirt they left and picking up trash.

Outstanding from start to finish. I cannot fully express the satisfaction we have with the work done. The crew was amazing. The drive,(asphalt covering cracked and crumbling concrete) was removed along with the front steps... gone, with new steps formed ready to pour on day 2. On day 2, the drive vas formed, base put in and steps poured. Day three, the rest of the pour was completed. Super fast and efficient crew, everyone had a job, and knew how and when to do their jobs without being told. It was quite a refreshing difference from the last company [DCs Precision (haha) Concrete LLC] we had do concrete work. We do not hesitate to tell people who did our front concrete work... and they do ask!

My garage floor needed replacing due to sinking deteriorating. I chose Holliday Concrete which turned out to be a great decision. They demolished the old floor and hauled it away, then did a super job installing a good base with plenty of reinforcement in it. Everything was done right including the grading. When the concrete floor was poured they even added a nice step into the house, which I really appreciated. I love love love my new garage floor and it looks fabulous! It was a big undertaking, but the owner, Joe Holliday, was reassuring during the process and put me at ease. I very highly recommend this company for any concrete work and will definitely use them again when the need arises. Very professional results!

The guys did a fantastic job. The estimate was very reasonable, and they did all the work of getting permits, etc. They were very professional in their approach to the job, performed the work when scheduled, and the cleanup and final tasks were done with great care. The recommended a very appropriate and appreciated change to the original plan and accomplished it with minimal effort on my part. I would highly recommend them.

Great job by Holliday Concrete. They communicated throughout the project, which was to replace the garage floor, driveway, front steps and sidewalk leading up. Great work, very professional. Clean up at the end was great as well.

They got it done timely and was very thorough. They did a great job, it looks great and I have gotten tons of complements from the neighbors.

I would recommend with great enthusiasm! Rick and the ENTIRE team at Holliday were extremely helpful, easy to work with, and true professionals. A great family business with a longstanding tradition of quality work and problem solving. I had a tricky spot on a slope and they engineered the perfect solution that not only solved my water problem but beautified my corner as well. True problem solvers!

They did a wonderful job!! This is the second time that we had them out to do work for us. Both times was a great experience and would have them back again and would recommend them to everyone that need concrete work. We also got several bids and they were very competitive in price plus the fact they got to our job both times quicker than expected. This is a great company to get the job you want done!!!!

THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS! This Company removed and poured a new driveway in November 2018. They talked a good game but recently we have had a wing corner crumble, and within the last 2 weeks THREE sections of our new driveway have cracked with smaller cracks branching off resulting in chips. Our previous 50 yr old driveway didn't have that many cracks! Now we have paid thousands for a lousy "new" driveway that is not even 2 yrs old! When the 1st crack appeared the owner Rick Holliday came out last week and simply stated it is "unfortunate" and "rare" that cracking happens in the middle of the sections instead of the joints. Now that same "rarity" has resulted in 2 more cracks in two different sections and his response is the same. We drive compact cars and are retired so this driveway hasn't even had the normal usage as most. Holliday did send someone to repair the crumbling corner but will do nothing about all of the cracks unless they spread to 1/4". Obviously there is something wrong with their workmanship yet they will take no responsibility. We could have saved thousands by just repairing the 2 cracks on our 50 year old driveway. A Companies reputation is proven to be good or bad by how they handle issues with their products. Obviously Holliday Concrete does not stand behind their work. Big rip off!

A great company. Hard workers that take pride in their work. They missed a patch are, I contacted them and they fixed it. I would definitely hire them again.

it was a great job. Wonderful cleanup and pleasant people to deal with. I would recommend this company again and again.

They showed up over 45 mins late, but called to let me know. I happen to be on a conference call but answered the door and show him the concrete issues. He said he would take photos and get back in touch. 5 days later I emailed the company to ask for the quote. The lady that answered said my job was too small. No one bothered to let me know they would not even quote it. That was incredibly rude.

Great communication, they kept me updated on when they were going to start, job went super fast and good clean up after the job was done. They do charge the credit card processing fee if you choose to use credit card. Payment structure was 45% on start of job, 45% after driveway poured, 10% after job finished and cleaned up.

Very happy with the final product, couple times they were later than promised but when on site the worked very well. Failed to remove one small bit of waste concrete otherwise no complaints at all.

After leaving a message, Rick Holliday called me back within 24 hours to schedule an estimate. He was very punctual and called to let me know he would arrive early. I go three estimates from Angie's List A+ contractors and Holliday was in the middle price. I think all three would have done a great job finishing the concrete, which is probably the most important thing. Rick provided the estimate via e-mail and included three property addresses in my area that they had done, including the year. I drove by each and was impressed that the 10+ year job still looked great, no scaling, which was a concern of mine. I just felt like Rick was the most engaged of the three and they could work my small job into the schedule between big jobs much sooner than the others. I returned the estimate and was on the schedule a week later. Due to a lot of spring rain, Rick did a good job of keeping me informed of the start date which slipped a few days. The old driveway was removed and forms set the afternoon of the first day. The team showed up the next day and poured and finished the entire job on the second day. Due to more rain, the forms were removed on the fourth day. Holliday does backfill with black topsoil they bring in, which was really nice. I am very satisfied with the job and they have a warranty too. I have had several neighbors ask for Rick's number because they need their driveways re-worked too. Joe and his crew were fabulous. They showed up on time everyday, kept me informed as to what was going to happen and got everything done in the time frame promised. This was a major project. It has to be the smoothest operation I have ever had with a contractor doing work at my house. From start to final clean up everything went exactly how I expected. Awesome job guys, THANKS!

They were responsive to our initial call. Came out when they said they would to give us a written bid. They were flexible with scheduling. Did the entire job in one day. Came back the next day to pull the forms and for repairs to the lawn along the edges. It's looks wonderful.

We had a 12 x 30 patio installed by Holiday, colored and stamped. The crew were very neat, professional and easy to work with. Having done concrete work in the past, I was very impressed with their attention to detail, keeping the site clean and safe, and quality of the work. I would definitely recommend them.

Great! Even with a major weather setback, they got right on the project, did a great job and cleaned up afterwards!

They did a wonderful job getting it done on time. Couple months later I noticed minor cracks. I had it done in 2014. I’ve always sealed my driveway and never used any salt or deicer. My driveway is now pitting/ little holes. The color has always been brownish/ tan. They say they use a “special” mix of concrete. When I first had my cracks they emailed me saying Rick would get ahold of me. Never did and I never emailed or contacted them again. I’m only writing this review now because on the long run of saving 1k dollars it’s not worth it anymore. My biggest complaint the concrete is tan. I do want to give compliments on the crew for doing a good job. Hopefully they now use better concrete or different company.
