HOLLIDAY CONCRETE

We played a lot of phone tag to set up an appointment to get an estimate. Then he said he didn't want to bid "so late." Guess my 4:00 time was inconvenient for him. I was very uncomfortable with his plan to replace the concrete that sits on top of the foundation wall to my basement as I have a suspended garage. The individual I met with was the son. Him and his brother had bought the company from their Dad. I got the impression they were not that experienced and he appeared very nervous bidding my large job.

The work was done on schedule at an affordable price

Excellent! The job could not have been done better! The owner Rick Holliday gave us a detailed estimate, his son Joe, was the on site supervisor of the project, 8 professional employees did the tear out and pouring work over two days with two individuals returning to finish the cleanup. This family run business is exceptional in every regard. Highly recommend Holliday Concrete. We could not be happier with their work and the final product.

They came out and gave us a bid last year but we did not do it until this year. We liked that it was a family owned business. When we decided to do the job we called them back. The crew arrived on time. They were very nice and professional. The site was cleaned up daily and the job was completed on schedule just like they said it would. If you have an underground sprinkler, there will be damage in removing the old driveway, but they tell you this upfront. It can not be helped. They did an excellent job and I would highly recommend this company.

The crew was prompt and worked very efficiently. They did a very good job and were responsive to my questions and concerns. The work quality was excellent. I would gladly recommend this company.

Called one day and had to leave a voicemail. Received a callback the next day offering one appointment a week away and another a week and a half later. The day before the appoint, I received a call stating there was a mix up and they would have to reschedule and the next available would be four days later. I accepted the appointment, however in the meantime, I decided to use another contractor for the work. Cancelled the appointment.

Monday morning the demo guy came out around 8:00 am, to ripe out the old driveway. Then five guys came out to lay the base rock, rebar and framing. Because of the heat, they told us that they would pour Tuesday morning, but because it was a cool day the next thing I knew was there was twelve guys out there. And then the cement truck pulled up and they started pouring the concrete. By the time they did the last leveling the concrete, it was around 3:30 pm. Tuesday afternoon the cleanup guys came out and did a really good job.

AWFUL. work was not performed as promise,uneven Flaking and crumbling already. drain ran uphill, ponding. looks worse than before done and will require complete tear out to repair. TERRIBLE I received a partial refund and therefore can not give them the F they deserve, can only give minimum C to be seen on reviews

Company made contact and advised they did not work in my area.

I was left with front steps that have a dangerous slope. When I called to have the problem fixed they offered to fix it for an additional $1000.

My appointment for an estimate was scheduled approximately a week out. The day of the appointment they called to say they were running about 15 min. behind - which impressed me as most contractors don't do this. Upon arriving they immediately took measurements. I expected them to tell me they would send me the bid but instead they told me to give them 15-20 minutes and they would write it up for me. Rick and John were very nice and professional. They answered all my questions and provided the bid with two references within the same vicinity as our home. We ended up choosing Holliday Concrete to complete our work. When I originally spoke with John about scheduling he expected it to be about 2 weeks out, but he called me the next week and they were able to start immediately. The tear out and pouring took one day to complete and they came back in a few days to clean up the yard and backfill the dirt around the new concrete. It was an AWESOME experience and we would highly recommend Holliday Concrete to others!

The crew was simply poetry in motion. We talked over a drainage problem with the foreman, and he came up with a simple and effective solution which was applied. In every way they were easy to work with. We look forward to using them again any time we need flat work.

They got me an estimate quickly. It took a little while to actually get the work scheduled but they always replied to my emails and phone calls. When the work was finally scheduled, they completed the job in one day. The crew was very professional and helped me move a car out of the way that my son (who was out of town)had the keys to. I am very pleased with the work that Holliday concrete did for me. They are a great company to work with and I highly recommend them.

Outstanding - The crew was very punctual and professional. They cleaned up as much as possible each day and left everything looking great. The finished driveway looks fantastic.

The work was performed in a timely manner despite the rain that we had. The Holliday folks kept the drive covered with plastic to keep it dry and ready to go when the rain stopped. No one can control the rain but John with Holliday kept us informed daily on what was going to happen, and when, in order to get the job done right. We are very happy with the results (my wife said she would give them an A+) and would recommend Holliday to anyone needing driveway work done.

It went pretty well. We were confused about dates of when we could drive on it. But the workers were efficient and cleaned up all the mess. My 3-year old granddaughter pronounced the new driveway "cute".

Holliday Concrete displayed exemplary professional conduct. The arrived when they said they would with all the proper equipment and did what they said they would for a reasonable price. Their flat work was excellent with proper slopes. They removed their forms and filled in with proper fill. They provided beautiful handrails for the steps that have received rave reviews from our neighbors. We are extremely pleased with Holliday's work and would recommend them to anyone needing concrete work.

We had Holliday Concrete replace our driveway and sidewalk in 2012. Because of their professional attitude and outstanding crew, we recently had them replace our garage floor. There is no comparison with their installation to when the house was built. I give them a rating of A+ on the sidewalk, driveway and garage floor replacement. Rick and John were great to deal with. Called for estimate. Came out, measured and never heard from them again. Left a message to see if I was going to estimate, still no response.

They did everything they said they would do. They were there at 7:30am each morning and worked till dark. They were professional and completed the work on a timely basis.

Holliday was quick to respond to our bid request and we had the quote within just a couple of days. They were great to communicate with us and even though we were put off one day, the following day the crew showed up and finished the driveway in one day. The crew was very professional and respectful throughout the entire process. They were back the following day to clean up and they made sure everything including the yard was free of debris from the job. I was very pleased with the entire process and would highly recommend. The driveway looks fantastic!

The job was scheduled for 9/1 & 9/2: day one was to rip out old then on following day pour new one but due to rain the original schedule had to be changed. They were still able to come on 9/2 and do the entire driveway in one day! The following day they tour out the forms, cut design & finished cleaning up. The crew was very courtesy & polite when I had questions. Also before they left that first day all the empty bottles and other trash was picked-up which was nice. I would definitely recommend them. Holliday Concrete was recommended to me by several of my neighbors. They came highly recommended to me and I am highly recommending them to you. My driveway job was approximately a 2 day job as it was only replacing a part of the driveway. This job was handled so professionally from the day I received the bid until the job was completed. The 2 days of work was an especially rainy couple of days and they worked diligently between rain and attended the job in order to get it completed on schedule. Workman were professional and courteous. They cleaned up nicely before they left each day and I had a couple of calls from the office asking if I was pleased and if there were any problems. I would highly recommend this company.

Just one word... WOW!!! Even this word does not do justice to the quality of workmanship which Holliday Concrete Team delivered. They are thorough professionals with amazing skills. When we decided to replace our Driveway, as usual we took several bids and I will say that Holliday Concrete was not the lowest bid BUT every penny spent has been worth it. In the last month and a half, we have received multiple compliments from neighbors and friends on how beautiful our driveway looks. The Border sure makes our Driveway stand out in the neighborhood. In future, if we ever have to get concrete work done, we shall not think twice to call Holliday Concrete since they have exceeded all our expectations......
