Marie and the fence builders were good to work with on this project. I am delighted with the fence.

I had a patio pad, stoop, and steps installed by Marie’s crew, and I am very pleased with the final result. We unfortunately had a workmanship problem that resulted in needing the steps removed and re-poured, requiring extensive rework due to sinking and separation when the steps were initially poured to face out to the street. When I identified the problem and discussed with Marie, she ensured the correction got done properly with a beautiful end result at no additional cost to me. She also took action with her team to prevent similar workmanship problems going forward. 4 stars for the overall experience and long lag between initial project and completion of the rework, but 5 stars for follow-through to ensure I was satisfied with the result of the finished product. I would definitely recommend Heartland for your next concrete pad job, as that portion of my project was done well from the beginning and it was clear the crew was experienced with flat pad construction.

Marie was easy to talk with and even helped with a loan application. The project process was explained and utility companies were out the next day to mark lines. Even came a second time when rain washed away marks. Quality workmanship on all parts of the fence. Very happy with Heartland!

When I look at the completed job. I. Just canâ t believe that this is my house. It looks like I had just moved into a brand new house. It improved the appearance of my home greatly. The employees were very nice and professional and completed the job in an acceptable time frame. Again great job double thumbs up.

Complete transparency here. I am a very easy-to-get-along-with person, but as a Veteran, a full-time worker and primary caretaker, my level of specificity is quite detailed. I have high expectations and Marie has not disappointed. She is very knowledgeable, resourceful, innovative, creative, punctual, and simply a joy to work with. TBH, the project is still underway (about 70% complete) and it already looks phenomenal. I can only imagine what the final result will be. At the end-of-the-day, after spending good, hard-earned money to do a project of this magnitude, you cannot afford anything but the best. And I found that with Terra Firma Landscapes under Marie's leadership.

The man assigned to the project was extremely combative. He apparently did not care for customers asking questions. The project was designed to stop basement flooding and replace two retaining wall. The basement still floods and ground retaining wall has fallen a foot.

Marie Fitts packed up and left my project when she did not appreciate that I wanted to scale back the amount of pavers on my lawn. After she sent back the extra stones she still wanted me to pay the entire price for the pavers and the labor, so she packed up and left my lawn damaged from all the construction.

Marie quickly responded to my Home Advisor posting, arriving as planned and on time to inspect the work needed. She provided a reasonable quote at the end of the inspection, and we hired Terra Firma on the spot. We had our wood fence and 2 backyard gates replaced. We also had 2 new gates installed on our deck and a stair railing replaced. We really liked the fact that stainless steel screwsâ instead of nailsâ were used throughout the project. The completed project looked awesome and was exactly what we had requested.

Marie Fitts is professional, courteous, with great punctual communication. Installed partial fence for our HOA...have heard nothing but positive comments from residents. Also replaced some landscaping for me and I'm looking forward to these healthy plants producing beautiful color to my yard. I will definitely keep Marie's contact info for future projects. (Her employees were also friendly and professional every time they were in the neighborhood.)
