+ -1 moreHOWEVER, HE WAS VERY MESSY. HE DAILY LEFT TRASH, DUST, DRYWALL PIECES AND DUST WHICH EXTENDED BEYOND THE AREAS WHICH WERE BEING WORKED ON. ON THE LAST DAY WHEN HE WAS FINISHED, HE LEFT THE BATHTUB FULL OF THIS STUFF AND THE FLOORS COVERED WITH IT. HE WANTED TO BE PAID AND I SAID,"WHAT ABOUT CLEAN UP?". HE SAID "CLEAN UP?" (LIKE IT WAS A FOREIGN CONCEPT TO HIM.) I POINTED OUT ALL THE AREAS AND HE SAID "MA'AM, I DON'T DO THAT." I SAID, "DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO IT? BECAUSE I DON'T FEEL LIKE I SHOULD HAVE TO. I HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE TO CLEAN UP AFTER AROUND HERE AND I DON'T THINK PEOPLE I PAY TO DO A SERVICE SHOULD BE INCLUDED." AND THEN I HANDED HIM A BROOM. HE SWEPT THE FLOORS AND DUMPED THE STUFF INTO THE BATHTUB AND SAID. "I DON'T CLEAN BATHTUBS." I SAID HE COULD PICK UP HIS CHECK LATER FROM MY HUSBAND AND ENDED UP CLEANING THE BATHTUB MYSELF. OF COURSE, MY HUSBAND DIDN'T REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ME CLEANING UP AFTER THIS MAN, SO HE PAID HIM.
Description of Work: I GAVE THIS COMPANY A C FOR RESPONSIVENESS ONLY BECAUSE THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES TO RESPOND TO 3 INQUIRIES FOR ESTIMATES ON THIS SHEET ROCK WORK. THEY DIDN'T ALWAYS SHOW UP EVERY DAY THAT WE EXPECTED THEM, NOR CALL TO GIVE A REASON. THE GRADE OF D FOR PROFESSIONALISM IS AN UP-GRADE ONLY BECAUSE THE MAN WAS VERY POLITE. THE QUALITY OF THE WORKMANSHIP WAS ADEQUATE. IT WAS NOT AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB OF DRYWALL WORK, BUT WE HAVE A 30 + YEAR OLD HOUSE WITH UNEVEN SURFACES.
