 + -1 moreThe woman who answered the phone said they didn't know anything about patio doors with outside tracks and would not be able to help me. I asked for suggestions and she had none, saying they don't carry any hardware that would work on sliding glass doors. Seriously? I told her I'd seen different kinds of bars and latches online that would suffice, but she said I'd have to call elsewhere. So I called the locksmith my friend uses and they came right out and solved my problem. I was sad that Dave's didn't want my business.
Description of Work: I needed some sort of device to secure a Pella sliding glass door with an outside track. I'd used Dave's Lock in the past and I like to patronize local businesses.

Description of Work: They re-keyed a gun cabinet that I had lost the key. I took the cabinet into the shop and Frank was able to do it while I waited. Helped with off loading the cabinet and re-loading it into my car.

Description of Work: Replaced a dead bolt lock that had broken with door locked. Unjammed the lock and replaced the defective part in about 15 min.

 + -1 moreHE CAME OVER ON SATURDAY MORNING AND HAD THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION BEFORE I GOT OUT OF THE FRONT DOOR. HE WAS FAST. HE MADE SURE THAT THE ''REGULAR'' IGNITION KEY WORKED BEFORE HE LEFT. HE WAS FAST, KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL AND POLITE. THE COST WAS VERY REASONABLE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE SPEED AND KNOWLEDGE.
Description of Work: HE GOT AN IGNITION KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION. HONDA HAD SAID THAT IT WOULD COST $83 FOR THEM TO LOOK AT IT AND EVEN THEN I WOULD PROBABLY NEED A NEW IGNITION. I CALLED TWO OTHER LOCKSMITHS WHO SAID THEY DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO HELP.
