They were very responsive when they were giving me the sales pitch. I had to wait a couple of months for installation. I've had to have one window repaired because it didn't seal properly. After setting two appointments with two no-shows, I finally got it fixed. Now the locks on a couple of my windows are not working properly because the screws are stripped and won't tighten. I've been calling for at least 4 months. Still can't get them to cal me back. They are awful to work with and deserve a big fat F.

It was fine but we decided not to have our windows done. We just decided to wait on getting the windows done completely. We didn't go with another company. They were on time. I would if we decided to go with windows.

Jimmy of Blue Springs Siding was prompt and friendly. He examined the windows we wanted replaced. He also reviewed the deck area. He told us that they didn't do decks, but could recommend a company that could do that service--all within the umbrella of the quote he would provide. He explained the types of windows, brands, warranty, promotions and financing available in a conversational manner. He was not high-pressure and we were very comfortable. Unfortunately the estimated quote was more than we had anticipated and the pricing was not broken apart by windows vs. decking. This was our oversight (not asking), but we were reeling from the price and even a bit of quick math placed the bid out of our reach. We had already scheduled for two more bids (Blue Springs was our first). We ended up going with another company, excluding the deck. Frankly, we liked Jimmy's manner the best, but it came down to economics. Blue Springs Siding and Windows left us with a positive bid experience and they would not be out of the running on another big project; we're considering siding in a few years. We'll definitely include them.

They did great. Good estimate, the price was good. They showed up the day agreed, and the job was well done. Overall, I am grading them an A.

They were very prompt with getting the siding and getting it installed in a timely manner. The owner came out and inspected the work and found a problem with one particular spot on one side. They sent installer back out to replace bad part. This too was done in a timely manner. We were impressed. We decided we wanted to add a sun room after the siding was completed. It took a couple of weeks to get the sales rep back out here. We were ok with the bid and finance plan. We were not told up front how long this project would take. It took a couple of weeks to get any kind of preliminary plan. Initially we were going to have a room the same side as the deck, then decided to go a couple of feet farther out. They revised their plans and an additional amount of money was paid. They were to take care of getting the building permit from the city where we lived. Our city required blueprints from a certified architect. This part of the project began around the first of August 2013. It was not completed until right before Thanksgiving 2013 -- for a total of almost 4 months. Actual construction of the sun room only took a few days. But it took numerous calls from us to find out where the blueprints were so a city building permit could be issued. They did not bother to check with the city as to whether a larger room would be allowed in place of where our deck was. It was not allowed. That also caused some delay. They should have known to check with the city prior to ordering all the materials for the larger size sun room. So they had to eat some extra material. During the time when we added the additional footage and add'l contract, we changed the color of the sun room from white to a beige. This fact was never passed on to the subcontractor who ordered the materials for the sun room. The materials ended up being white (our original choice), but it was something we could live with. After a couple of weeks into the sun room project, we were contacted by the salesman that they were going to lose money and basically were trying to get out of the contract. We came EXTREMELY close to using another company for the sun room and after 4 months, we certainly wish we had. We do like our finished sun room, but their communication skills were severely lacking. For siding and installation they were great, for sun rooms, poor.

They were fast, got it done in a hurry. We were pretty satisfied with their work.

Installed 5 windows in bedrooms. Installation was quick and have had no issues with the windows to date.

One thing that I was really impressed with was the gentleman in charge of the siding, he was very thorough, and asked questions. He came out ahead of time to make sure he had everything he needed. After they finished Blue Springs Siding and Windows sent out an inspector to double check everything. They did find a few thing that we wouldn't have noticed, but they did come out and fix it right away. They cleaned up their mess and we are very very pleased with the results

A gentleman came to our door one day asking if we would be interested in talking to someone about new windows or siding and doors. Our house is needing all of the above and this was a company who was looking to expand business in our area and willing to give some offers for our referral. Thought it was a good place to start since we are looking to fix up our house and more than willing to work with a local small business and share a good experience with friends and neighbors. The sales person came to our house and we ordered 7 windows, seemed like a reasonable deal. good price and we would put a sign in our yard and then maybe give a referral statement. We picked out our windows and scheduled the install. I had to call to find out when they would be arriving, but the installer arrived on time and did a great job. But, they were the wrong windows. The installer said he would inform the sales rep that they ordered the wrong windows and he would be in touch with me to set up a time when they can be replaced. Not a big deal. Mistakes happen. This is where they failed. I waited over a week, no call. I called the company, they said they would call my sales rep and let him know he needed to get in touch with me. Waited another 2 weeks, heard nothing. Called back, and this time I expressed I was not happy with the customer service. The receptionist said she would give me my sales person's number. Um no, he needs to call me. I am the customer, I should not have to track him down to correct a mistake he made in the order. Waiting another week, called back, was informed these windows would have to be ordered and "it will take a while to get them in", and my sales rep would be calling me to let me know the details. I waited another week and left a message. Finally someone called me back after a month with news that the windows should be in and someone would be calling me to install them. I got a call from the installer on a Saturday wanting to schedule something for Monday. I also inquired about a new front door. The installer took measurements and then said he would let my sales rep know. The next day I received an e-mail from the sales rep with a link to the doors. I replied to the e-mail with a couple options and wanted to know a cost comparison for them. Never heard back. Sent another e-mail, still no reply. Before we had agreed to meet with the sales rep, he would blow up my phone with calls and messages. After the purchase agreement was signed I never heard back from my sales rep. I guess this company really doesn't my referral or my continued business. We could have been a good customer, all you needed to do was be responsive. The only professional thing about this company was the installers. They both did a fine job, treated me and my home with respect and that is the only reason you are getting a C rating from me. My advice to your office personnel and sales reps, take some queues from your installers on how to treat your customers and you might get some good referrals, which is what you were looking for to begin with. *update - I agreed to financing and specifically asked if the financing was revolving credit, I was told no, straight financing. I got my bill, it is a Visa, which is revolving credit. So my payment for $52 is the minimum payment for the Visa which thankfully is only at 9%. I really should have done more inquiry and asked for more information before agreeing to these terms, my fault. But please educate your sales reps to not mislead your customers. It does not fare well to as a company to have your sales reps lie to get a sale.

New windows, doors, siding, gutters, soffit, & fascia. Blue springs salesman was a salesman, if I did not ask & he would not mention it. I never asked if they (Blue Springs) did the work or sub it all out. They are the general contractor, some of the subs are great, some are more about money not quality. If you find a good window & door installer use them, then call Blue Springs for siding and gutters!!

A sales appointment was set-up for September 13th at the Overland Park remodeling show 2013. On September 10th we signed a contract with another company. September 11th we notified Blue Springs siding and Windows to cancel our appointment. September 13th we were gone our daughter was home alone when the salesman showed up at our door, sat outside our house waiting for us to return. He called the house and left a message that he was waiting for us and would call in a few days. He did call the following week and was still unaware that we had cancelled the appointment. Obviously this company does not communicate with their sales staff. After reading other reviews here on Angie's List we are glad we did not go with them for siding and new gutters with covers.

We looked at 8 companies when looking for siding and reviewed 8 different estimates and material. Blue Springs Siding and Windows were one of the companies that sent a salesman to our house showed us the different materials available and gave us an estimate for our home. Buck was very friendly and professional. We reviewed all options and took our time making a decision for our investment. During the 2 weeks of reviewing options the manager and owner of Blue Springs made contact with us to say he wanted to work with us to make it possible and affordable to side our home. We accepted the offer to meet again and sat down with the Co owner Frank. He cut over 5000 dollars off the original price of the product quoted by Buck (the original sales rep) and helped us find financial backing at a reasonable interest rate We accepted the price and signed the contract. It only took about 2.5. weeks to get our product delivered and the work crew to arrive. They worked long very hot days to complete the project. They kept the yard clear of debris each day trying hard to allow us to continue on with our normal activity around the house. They gave us hints to keeping things from breaking or falling from the exterior walls during there work. They completed the work within 5 days and would have been done sooner but had rainfall interfere. Jose, the crew manager stayed with his crew daily and kept us informed of progress. He also walked us around the house at the end of the project and made sure we were happy with the work. I could not be happier with the end result. It is absolutely beautiful and even better NO MORE PAINTING ever. The product has a lifetime guarantee, I sometimes arrive home and just sit in the car and look at how elegant and clean it looks. I would definitely use them again. I hope to have a sunroom as soon as the siding is paid off. The team of salesmen and crew members were very easy to work with. Anyone wanting to know how good it looks on a home is welcome to come by my house. Love Love Love it. Buck was an easy salesman. Jack and crew installed the windows and you could tell he knew what he was doing. I would recommend them to anyone.

Windows and siding were installed quickly. I didn't look close enough on at the contract and confused the bids. I expected the corner trim to be painted and the shutters to be replaced, but they don't do painting and the shutters were not part of the bid. Still, I was satisfied with the work.

We liked their price. We liked their attention to detail. Their workers were excellent. Their work was great. We are still waiting on our warranty with them. Their work was quick. We had them install a patio door for us also. Overall they did an excellent job.

They gave me a very professional estimate quickly. They showed me the good quality products and installed them quickly. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. The customer service man came the next day to inspect the windows and made sure that I did not have any questions or concerns. They are a really good company. They have addresses and phone numbers of people and give good references.
