Did a great job. Came during the winter to get information. As soon as the weather warmed up, he came to do. The only issue I had is that there was no notice and I was out of town, so it was a little disconcerting that I couldn't arrange to be there while the work was done (the residents were there, but I am the owner). End result looks great and is exactly what I wanted, though.

We couldn't be more pleased with Allan Surber's work. He managed to crush and haul out all the debris from our old driveway, which is a very large area, and prepare for the new concrete to be poured. He and his workers are courteous and very professional in their work and in their attitudes. We had dreaded this project, as we expected a terrible mess, but at the close of each workday, Mr. Surber left the job as tidy as one could expect for such a large residential project. The new concrete was beautifully finished, and Mr. Surber himself sealed the the surface after it had set up. I highly recommend Allan Surber for any concrete project. He told us he'd been in this profession since 1972, and his experience and expertise really stand out in the finished product at our home.

Emailed him on Feb 19th to request an estimate for replacing a concrete front stoop. He called back to tell me that he'd stop by that weekend, but he didn't show up. I followed up a week later, and again he indicated that he'd come by soon, but he did not. I have since emailed him twice more, but I've received no response.

Communication has been good so far. He has been real responsive. He said he is running behind, but he gave me projected date he’ll be finished. I set the timeframe and he is supposed to start April 1. Last week, they came out to measure everything. We discussed that their will additional costs because my area is about 25 square more than what the Big Deal. He has been very straightforward with everything. He seems to really know what he is talking about and explained the process to me.

I didn't realize that what I purchased wasn't enough to complete the job. I would have had to purchase additional work which I am not able to do at this time.

He was very reasonably priced. He was gem to deal with and he did excellent work. The job was site was clean and perfect condition when he finished the work. He was always on time. He was there when he said he was willing to be there. He was quick and efficient and I can't say much more than that. I would absolutely use him again.

Overall we could not have been more pleased with the work on our retaining rock wall. The work performed by Allan Surber was quick, efficient, timely and the final product was perfect. Now, our sloping yard has an attractive redbrick retaining wall that enhances the overall look of our home. Excellent work!

Starting with the bid, Allan was the most professional contractor. I had a list of over 30 questions and he was glad to answer them and actually asked for copies of the concrete contractor comparison sheet so he could show future customers how he compares with their other bids. He exceeded most recommendations for the driveway and still came in cheapest. He got started right away, was on the jobsite everyday to answer my questions and spent about an hour a day helping/watching the men that did most of the work to make sure it was up to his standard. He completed the job on time and for what he said he would. He and his men did an excellent job. I was so impressed I recommended him to my sister. He poured her basketball court a week later and she has also been very pleased. Allan actually did a lot of that work himself, since he wasn't satisfied with the job one of his workers was doing.

Allan and his crew were here on time as promised. He kept us informed on every step. He gave us a timeline and kept to it. He kept his crew busy doing additional work as needed.
