It is beautiful!!

This was done in a rotten area next to a concrete slab that I had no idea what to do with. When it wasn't being washed out by rain water, it was full of weeds. They ran drain pipes out well past the area, brought it all up to the same height as the slab, and topped it all off with bricks. It looks so nice now! It is also very solid and well constructed, and was completed in the time frame promised. My biggest peeve with any sort of construction project I've had done around my house is always been the poor clean-up, but not with these guys! They went above and beyond, even hauled off a giant pile of rose bush branches I didn't have a chance to dispose of before they started working. I'm pleased as could be, and will definitely be using them again!

Don't be in a hurry when it's the height of the landscaping season.

Scott showed up and took the information on what I wanted to do with my yard. But that's went it all went south ! # 1 he persuaded me to disclose my top dollar amount, (which in my mistake I DID disclose the amount) and as most business will do if they know that information will provide you with that very amount if not higher. But instead of a complete bid for front and backyard work, quoted that amount on just the front yard. But when I asked for the bid for the back yard ( he was suppose to bid front and back ) he did a Houdini act and disappeared NO Contact , would not respond to my e-mails as set up in the beginning. Im afraid that I have to add A2D Landscape to the list of Non usable landscape company. I was very disappointed that this turned out this way, I was hoping to use Scott's service. But thanks to Angie's List we can weed out the undesirables!

Scott and his team came in, put in a french drain along the shared fenceline, and redirected all the water that was coming into the middle of our yard to the back corner. My downhill neighbor is very pleased! And, we are too, of course. I will definitely use A2D landscaping in the future and would recommend them to everyone.

They didn’t charge me for the estimates during their visits. I have talked to the owner several times on the phone and also in person. He is smart, and he seems to know what he is doing. He showed up when he said he was going to. He is very flexible. I intend to employ his services. I am preoccupied with a backyard project, so the landscaping has got to wait until spring. I was very happy with how he talked about things. He had lots of different options to offer at various price points and was willing to work with me quite well. When I actually had to call him and tell him that I can’t do it in autumn and that I can only have it done in spring, he was fine with that. The only thing is that it can sometimes be hard to schedule with him because he is busy.

Scott showed up on time. Very friendly and knowledgable. Gave good advice about what would benefit us the most and how we could add on to it in the future. It was refreshing to see someone who was sincerely concerned about our needs and meeting them. Prompt at returning calls. Did an excellent job!

Scott contacted me by email after 2 days to set an appt. to come out and see the "job" and give an estimate. He was on time and very professional. He broght copies of his insurance and license. After he took the measurements and talked with me about what I wanted and such told me he would work on a plan and email me an estimate in a couple of days. His estimate came the following day and was just what I was thinking and the price was awesome! I have an HOA where I live and I am waiting on approval from them before he can start. At this point he has been one of, if not THE best contractor I have dealt with! Hope his work is as good as this process has been!

He was a very nice guy. I wanted a design on paper more than the details of how much material and what he could do in different areas. The scope of the project changed when we I realized we shouldn't have certain things with our dog being in the yard. I wanted to ask what kind of grass would be the best for now having a dog and he really wasn't sure. I still might end up doing the work, but would rather have a design on paper than just talking about it.

He began the project on time and completed it ahead of schedule. The area was cleaned and all debris swept up and disposed of. He encourages input as the project progresses, so the finished product is as exact as you want.

It went great. Scott knows what he is talking about, and works with people's budgets. He made us feel very comfortable. This was the first time we had hired a landscaper. He didn't try to oversell us, and was very truthful about the cost of his labor and parts used. He did ask for half of the money up front. At first we didn't want to do that because of what we see everyday on the news. We went ahead and did it. He did the work, and we paid him the rest when we were happy with the work done. On a side note, just a few weeks later MGE came out here to lay new gas lines. It looked like they were going to dig up what we had just paid to get done. We called Scott, and he said that he would come out and pull up the pipe pass their line as to not damage the pipe. He was willing to do this at no charge. This showed us that he cares about his customers, and pride in his work. In the end MGE didn't have to dig up at that area. We plan on hiring Scott for future work

He arrived first thing in the morning on the date we agreed upon. He worked until dusk, and returned each day at the same time. He completed the work in a very timely manner, and even assisted in reworking a garden section that was in terrible shape. He was very deligent and professional, and the new walk way looks terrific.He will be doing more projects for us in the fall. I would certainly recommend him for any landscaping project you might have.

Scott was very detailed in his design. He asked my input on what I wanted and what I was able to spend on the project and then went out of his way to find supplies that I liked at a very reasonable price.I am very satisfied with the results and would recommend him for his work and his honesty.
